Sunny with a Chance of Rain

It was the day after receiving the gifts from the Mews, Ash, during the entire rest of the evening. Helped his newly evolved Pokémon with their new bodies.

It was a little harder than normal, as Garchomp was not even close to used to his new height, but it went well, as now Garchomp can float in the air, Croconaw can dance in his new form, Typhlosion has had a small change in tactics, and Meganium learned Frenzy Plant.

It was an eventful evening to say the least.

But right now Ash is relaxing in the living room with Pikachu, Dexter, Mew, and the alolan team. The newbies had been trying to get used to the sheer number of Ash's Pokémon for the past few days, but it was an easy transition as every one of Ash's Pokémon was very kind and has had to deal with newbies before.

Ash then switched channels and stopped at a news report.

"Local weather patterns indicate the formation of a tropical depression, citizens are advised to seek shelter as soon as possible." The news reporter said in a monotonous tone. The image was then showed on screen of a swirling cloud slowly making it's way towards melemele island.

Ash then looked out the window and saw the sky darken, but he could also see a glow in the distance, it was bright yellow and pulsating in a rhythmic manner.

Ash then saw a green dot turn into a serpent. It was Rayquaza and Kyogre was following him. Where was Groudon then?

Ash rushed outside only saying "Rayquaza." To Pikachu, who nodded and followed his trainer outside. The alolan team was confused, but decided to follow their trainer. Mew on the other hand decided to stay there and watch Tv.

"We're almost there, Kyogre." Rayquaza said from his spot up in the sky.

"Right, And Groudon?" Kyogre asked.

"Still following." Rayquaza answered.

Rayquaza and Kyogre then made it to the beach, Groudon also arrived, but he was on an island of his own creation.

In the distance the weather trio could see Ash cup his hands together.

He then said, "What are you guys doing here!?" Ash asked, Rayquaza, being the only one that didn't have a massive effect on Alola's climate floated forward.

Ash looked over at Dexter and asked. "Dexter did you get that thing working?"

Dexter nodded and disappeared, leaving the projector behind.

Ash's Pokédex beeped and he held it up to hear what Rayquaza had to say.

"Hello, Ash Ketchum. Kyogre and Groudon have come to bring you their gifts." Ash read the translation on the Pokédex and nodded.

"I would also like to take this opportunity to thank you for helping me with those two." Rayquaza pointed at Kyogre and Groudon. "They somewhat matured after you helped them."

"Thanks, I guess Rayquaza." Ash replied after reading the translation.

After that was done Groudon and Kyogre moved closer to the beach, Pikachu flinched back a bit still having some bad memories with Groudon. The whole possession thing was not fun.

Kyogre then floated closer to the beach and said. "Ash Ketchum, please bring your water types and ground types over."

Ash complied and beckoned his somewhat reluctant Pokémon.

Kyogre glowed and reverted back to origin form, she then made Ash's Pokémon glow a deep cobalt blue.

When the glow died down, Ash's Pokémon had some markings on them, not unlike Kyogre's. The markings then went away after a few seconds.

"I have bestowed upon your Pokémon the knowledge of Origin Pulse, use it wisely." Kyogre then floated back to where Rayquaza was.

Groudon then stepped up. "Ash, bring your fire and ground types over." Ash did just that.

Once the Pokémon lined up, Groudon glowed and reverted back to his origin form. Ash's Pokémon glowed a second later, this time orange instead of blue.

Groudon then stepped back towards Rayquaza.

"Oh Groudon, I gave more Pokémon my move than you did yours." Kyogre boasted.

"It's only because Ash has more water types than fire types." Groudon replied, annoyed at the boasting, but controlled himself.

Kyogre then stopped teasing her counterpart, seeing that her teasing wasn't going to do anything.

It was then she noticed Rayquaza look at her with a glare, she figuratively shrunk back, not wanting to deal with Rayquaza's wrath, again.

The weather trio then said their goodbyes to Ash and left, Groudon also fixed the beach before leaving.

"Well, that was something. Dexter, did you get pictures for Professor Birch and Oak." The Porygon nodded on the Pokédex's screen.

{Hau'oli City Airport}

A plane landed in Hau'oli City Airport after the tropical depression seemed to disappear without a trace.

"Chloe, do you think that tropical depression was caused by a legendary Pokémon." A boy asked from the door on the plane.

A girl stepped out of the door and onto the jet bridge and said. "Goh, please can you save it for when we're out of the Airport."

Goh did not seem to be listening though as he was doing something on his phone Chloe couldn't really see.

After thirty minutes of walking through airport security and waiting for their luggage, both Chloe and Goh were ready for the Alola region.

Both had to walk all the way to their hotel, as vehicles weren't as readily available in Alola as it was in Kanto. People normally get around on ride Pokémon or on a small 4-seat vehicle.

After walking for about thirty minutes Goh and Chloe arrived at the hotel they booked back in Kanto. Goh's and Chloe's rooms were about the same, both were decently sized, had a beautiful view of melemele and had a big flat screen Tv.

Goh sat on his bed, turned on his Tv and started mindlessly flipping through the various channels.

He stopped when he saw an ad for 'best places to visit in Alola if your a trainer.' One of the listings was of the Pokémon school. Goh got interested in it, as the ad talked a lot of great things about it. And asked Chloe if he could explore the Pokémon school for a bit.

Chloe agreed, as she knew that if she refused she would have to sit through a whole hour of Goh complaining about the missed opportunity.

Goh arrived at the Pokémon School after a leisurely walk through the Hau' oli city market.

He was met with an empty school, figures as it was a Sunday.

It was then Goh noticed someone carrying some supplies through the courtyard.

"Uhm. Alola sir, can you tell me something about the Pokémon school." He asked the man carrying boxes.

"Well here at the Pokémon school fledgling trainers can learn about the basics of being a trainer as well as some useful knowledge when battling and taking care of Pokémon. I'm Kukui by the way, a teacher of this school. I'm also this region's Professor." Kukui answered Goh.

"Well, Professor can you tell me what happened earlier today, the sudden appearance and disappearance of a tropical depression." Goh asked with a glimmer in his eyes.

"I'm not to sure myself, but I think I know someone who does." Kukui pulled out a phone and dialed a number on it.

The phone rang for a couple of seconds before the other end picked up. Kukui put it on speaker.

"Uh Professor, why did you call? Did something happen there at the school? Did Kyogre accidentally make it rain there?" Ash asked, confused as to why Kukui called him.

"Ash I have someone here with a few questions about what happened earlier, and since you are the expert when it comes to weird events I thought I'd call you."

"Oh, okay then. Can you hand the phone over to them." Kukui did as told.

Goh held the phone, blinked twice before shaking his head. Maybe he heard wrong, there's no way this guy just said Kyogre was in Alola.

"Uhm, hi. I'm Goh, and I'd like to ask if you know anything about that tropical depression that came and went earlier." Goh asked and heard a "hmmm." From the other end.

"Well, Kyogre and Rayquaza made the wind and the storm, and that's kinda it." Ash said in monotonous tone that did not fit the contents of the sentence.

Goh's jaw dropped, the nonchalant nature of Ash's statement made Kukui laugh a bit, Ash's crazy life was so unbelievable that even just scratching the surface of it will leave you in a state of shock.

"You can't be serious, Kyogre and Rayquaza, here in Alola!" Goh practically screamed the sentence.

"They were here, they already went back to Hoenn." Goh slumped a bit at Ash's statement.

"Hey Goh, maybe you could come over. I have some very cool Pokémon I wanna show you, some of them are very powerful." Hearing this Goh gave Kukui his phone back and asked if he could show the way. Kukui did, pointing down Ash's normal route to school.

{Kukui's House}

Goh arrived at a beach, he saw a lot of Pokémon mingling with one another. Some were training, some were playing, some were sleeping, and some were just talking amongst themselves.

Goh noticed a boy standing in the middle of the beach with a Porygon next to him. He figured this was Ash and approached him.

Goh was stopped though by a buizel looking at him like he was some sort of criminal.

"Wait Buizel, stop!" Goh heard the boy call out to Buizel.

Ash panted a bit before introducing himself to Goh.

He apologized for Buizel doing that, but Goh brushed it off and said "I would probably act the same way if I was confronted by a stranger."

"So, Ash. Are these all your Pokémon?" Ash nodded to the question, he felt proud of his Pokémon family and the bond they each shared.

"Ash it's almost lunch." Dexter reminded his trainer. Ash's eyes widened in realization and he started running back into the house, bringing with him sacks upon sacks of Pokémon food.

How Ash managed to carry all of those sacks at once was a mystery to Goh.

A few sacks of food floated out of the house, covered in a blue glow. Goh suspected a psychic type or at least a Pokémon that knew Psychic.

His suspicions were verified when the one using psychic floated out of the house.

He wasn't expecting though that the culprit was a mew.

"What!?" Goh screamed in pure confusion, his brain just couldn't process this.

Mew then looked at Goh tilted her head then realized something. She then floated over to Dexter and squeaked out something Goh couldn't understand.

Dexter then floated over to Ash, who was still carrying impossible amounts of weight without even breaking a sweat.

"Ash, remember Oak's summer camp, the one where you met Serena." Ash nodded.

"Goh was there as well." Ash blinked, that's a strange coincidence.

"He also saw Mew during the camp." Now that's even more of a coincidence. Ash wasn't a big statistics guy, but even he knew the chances of this happening were close to zero.

After all the food was moved and distributed, Ash needed to ask Goh some things.

"Hey, Goh. Dexter told me you were in Oak's summer camp a while back." Ash said gaining the attention of the still awestruck boy.

"Yeah I was, there was this one kid if I remember correctly kinda looked like you." Goh said not really putting two and two together.

"That was me, Goh." Goh's jaw dropped a second time today.

"H-how?" Ash just shrugged in reply.
