(A/N) Hello!

So I decided to do something a tad bit different with this story. So, I based this story on the song "Home Sweet" by Russel Dickerson. I hear it all the time on the radio, and the first time I heard it, I thought of Eliot and his idea of home. So, enjoy!

Home Sweet

The first home that Eliot Spencer had was his home in Oklahoma. That's where he joined the army, which lead him on his most wildest adventure he could imagine

Touching down from a six night honeymoon

Sun-kissed kids still drunk on love

Went from all inclusive margaritas in Malibu

To prayin' we could pay rent this month

The second home Eliot Spencer had was hia safe house he shared with his partner Kaira Newton. That's where they're journey started. Cause from being so close together, it was almost inevitable that they would slowly fall in love. Which is exactly what happened. Except it was slow, and it was hard.

That doormat says "Welcome Home"

But I think it's wherever I'm with you

It's more than some bricks and stones

No, there ain't nothin' like

With the second home burned to protect them, the third home that Eliot Spencer had was the Boston apartment he shared with Kaira Newton, the woman he loves.

Home sweet, you and me

Ain't got much, but we got all we need

Wherever the wind blows, wherever this life goes

Baby, all I know, ain't nothin' like, nothin' like

Home sweet

You and me

The Boston apartment is really where home changed meaning for Eliot Spencer. Because it was in that apartment that him and Kaira had their most important moments. Proposing after a rough job, pledging himself to Kaira, getting married on a whim. All of those happened in Boston.

Your love is like a porch swing on Sunday

Just as gentle as a summer sunrise

They say it's where the heart is

Well, mine's with you babe

Long as I got your hand, I'm fine

Over the course of the three years Eliot Spencer and Kaira Newton, now Kaira Spencer, learned a lot. But this place was different. Cause Alec Hardison and Parker were there too. And slowly, the hacker and thief made their way into the couple's hearts. Associates became best friends to brothers and sisters in arms.

Could be a white brick and picket fences

Or some busted AC hotel room

It's all picture-perfect if you're in it

No, it don't get much better than

The fourth place Eliot Spencer called home was the Portland Brewpub. The brewpub was a perfect base because not only was his wife, the woman he loves, there beside him every night, but Parker and Alec Hardison were also there, the hacker and thief who stole his hitter's heart.

Home sweet, you and me

Ain't got much, but we got all we need

Wherever the wind blows, wherever this life goes

Baby, all I know, ain't nothin' like, nothin' like

Home sweet (nothing like, nothing like)

You and me (nothing like, nothing like)

Home sweet, yeah (nothing like, nothing like)

You and me (nothing like, nothing like)

Portland became the place, unbeknownst to Eliot at the time, where his life would change. Where he thought of the future for the first time. Where he pledged his life to the three people he loved most infront of the woman and man who stopped him from falling down. The hacker, the thief, and the Jack of trades who had stolen his heart.

A quarter acre and a two-bed farm house

Polaroid kiss with a red "Sold" sign

Sittin' on boxes in the livin' room laughin' and cryin'

Eliot never thought of being a father. He thought he wasn't fit. A man with that much red in his ledger, how would he be a dad? That was until he met Kaira Newton, who showed him he could be. And that scared him more than any gun barrel pointed at him.

Just starin' at them two pink lines, huh

Ooh, yeah

The first time was close to Christmas. He heard Kaira calling his name, yelling at him to come inside the bathroom. He walked in, after making sure she was clothed, and she showed him the two pregnancy tests with the two pink lines. And he was so happy! But he had never been more terrified. He was finally gonna be a dad, and he was so lucky. What he also didn't expect was to be a dad to twins.

Time to make a little more room in our

Home sweet, you and me

Yeah, we got it all, and you're still all I need

Wherever the wind blows, wherever this life goes

The second time Eliot became a father was just after a job. They had gotten home. His twins were two years old. After a day of rest, Kaira called out to him from the restaurant after they closed the brewpub. Kaira had Parker and Hardison beside her as he walked up to the bar. Kaira had a smile on her face and grabbed something from her back pocket. Eliot was nervous as Kaira put the tests in front of him. It took him a second to register the two pink lines on the test. "You're gonna be a daddy again, babe." He could hear the excitement in Kaira's voice. He just hugged her for a long time.

Baby, all I know, ain't nothin' like, nothin' like

Home sweet (nothing like, nothing like)

You and me (nothing like, nothing like)

Home sweet (nothing like, nothing like)

You and me, yeah (nothing like, nothing like)

Hey

(You and me)

(Nothing like, nothing like)

The final place Eliot Spencer called home was New Orleans. Because that was where his family was, complete. And home was where the people he loved most lived. So Eliot Spencer, the boy who never knew what home was, finally found a home in Kaira Newton, Alec Hardison, Parker, and his children.
