(A/N) Hello!
So I wanted to try something I've never done before! I've been getting into the more behind the scenes stuff with Leverage, so I thought why not do some behind the scene's stuff?
I chose to do Y/N for Kaira's actress's name honestly because I couldn't think of a name, so...
Anyways, I really hope you enjoy these!
Blooper #1
Scene: Kaira and Eliot arguing in "The Experiment Job"
*Eliot is trying to hold Kaira's arm, locking them so she doesn't fight back, telling Kaira to stop. He goes to flick his hair out of his face when…
Christian accidentally hits Y/N in the face with his hair.
Y/N: *laughing* What the f— was that?
CK: *laughing as he pulls her into a hug* "I'm sorry!
Y/N: It's okay babe. *laughing*
Devlin: Reset!
Blooper #2
Scene: During "The Maltese Falcon Job" while at the warehouse to finalize the deal.
*A PA is trying to find Aldis and Beth. He discovers them after a "make-out session" in between the stacks. The camera pans over to CK and Y/N chilling at the side between another stack.
PA: Why didn't you say anything?
CK: Listen man.
Y/N: Not my business.
*They leave, leaving an exasperated PA reporting on the walkie Aldis and Beth were heading to set.
4 Minutes Later
*PA is once again searching the stacks. Christian comes out, zipping his pants up as Aldis is buttoning up his shirt.
Aldis: What? We're coming man. Shit!
*Him and CK run off as the PA says that they're heading to set.
*Then we see Beth and Y/N come out, both very disheveled. They run off, leaving the PA to act like he's gagging.
(A/N I mean, I had to!)
Blooper #3
Scene: In "The Rollin' on the River Job", Eliot, Kaira, and Parker are in the vault when it locks. They look at the vault door, then at each other, kinda close together…
Beth: Next time that door opens, cops are gonna be outside. *says it kinda sexually somehow*
Y/N: *Pulls CK and Beth in like they're gonna kiss and starts laughing
CK: *laughs his ass off.
Y/N: I had too!
Beth: *breaks
Blooper #4
Scene: In "The Three Card Monte Job" Eliot and Hardison lead Kaira and Sophie to the basement of the police station to install the black box. Eliot undos Sophie's cuffs, with Sophie saying she had nightmares about being handcuffed in a police station.
*CK walks over to Y/N to undo her cuffs
Y/N: Hmm. We obviously don't have the same dreams. *hears handcuffs fall to the floor and starts laughing, causing CK to laugh*
Y/N: Goddamnit I'm such a klutz! *goes outta frame to pick them up.
Y/N: F— me.
CK: *obviously joking and flirty* Just say when and where, Darlin'.
*sees Y/N come into frame, flipping CK off, causing everyone to bust out laughing.
Blooper #5
Scene: Parker and Kaira are repelling from rigging, during "The Three Strikes Job" when they go into the mayors office, and…
*Beth and Y/N fall into frame, but Y/N is tangled up.
Y/N: Shit! *trying not to laugh* Bethy! Chris!
*CK comes over, laughing, and helps untangle Y/N.
CK: You good darlin'?
Y/N: Yeah. *looks at camera* Show business, people.
Audio Commentary #1
Scene: Eliot, Kaira, and Sophie are talking about control at the ring in "The Tap Out Job". Sophie has left and it's just Kaira and Eliot.
Devlin: What's interesting with the dynamic here between Eliot and Kaira is that they are each other's anchors.
Rodgers: Yeah, when I wrote that scene, I knew that this is a very vulnerable episode for Kaira because before, she's always been able to back Eliot up. But this time, she can't back him up, and she's scared.
Downey: Yeah, I thought that was an interesting bit for this woman who's obviously been through a lot, and has sorta shielded herself is only open with Eliot, and he's vulnerable around her.
Devlin: I just want to say that Chris and Y/N acted the hell out of that scene, cause they've already formed this bond as actors, and it translates well into these characters.
Interview #1
Scene: A cast interview on the DVD where Y/N is talking about Kaira.
Y/N: Kaira is such an interesting character. She's a Jack of trades, and a master of none as the saying goes. Which is kinda interesting to play because I get to learn all these skills, and Apollo is an excellent teacher. I may even rival Beth.
*Y/N laughs
Y/N: I also like her relationship with Eliot. Cause it's clear these two are loners, and they have this trust I find beautiful. Then they are sorta thrust into this job and when it all goes wrong, it tests Kaira because she's used to being the only one to back Eliot up, and now she's got this team. So i-it's fun. And I love these guys, so it's awesome. *smiling*
CK: Yeah, Eliot I think admires the fact that this woman he's partnered with is so badass, and he admires the skill. It's obvious from the moment we see these two on screen that there's something more than just being friends, as they tried playing it off as. They do love each other, and they have that trust of "I got your back, you got mine" and it's fun playing that with Y/N. *chuckles* She's an amazing actress and coworker, and I'm lucky she's my screen partner.
Interview #2
Scene: Y/N is on the official Redemption podcast, and she's talking about Kaira and Maria and Eliot in "The Hurricane Job"
Yael: What was is like exploring this more vulnerable side of Kaira with her relationship with Maria?
Y/N: It was interesting! I've never done anything like this before, so it was interesting to figure that out. To Kaira, Maria's this wildcard in her life. Which scares her, cause this isn't something that she's used to feeling. Especially in this episode, we see her try to open up. Cause it's clear she's in love with her, but it's not easy for her to open up. And having this wildcard come into her life when she's already vulnerable, having been put through the ringer between her children being in danger and watching someone she loves be tortured and forced to remember these horrible events in her life. I was lucky to have amazing scene partners and an excellent writing team that handled these scenes amazingly.
Audio Commentary #2
Scene: Eliot, Kaira, and Hardison get into a fight to protect Hurley in "The 12-Steps Job".
Dean: This is actually Chris, Y/N, and Aldis doing their own stunt work here.
Rodgers: Yeah, I remember seeing Chris and Y/N teaching Aldis some fighting moves, and also worried cause they were going hard in this fight. *chuckles*
Downey: Yeah. Y/N is actually a pretty good stunt fighter, which helps in this scenario cause her and Chris work together to choreograph these fights.
Devlin: Much to my annoyance.
*they all laugh*
Rodgers: Wasn't there a bet going around on set as to how long it would take until Chris and Y/N started dating.
Devlin: There was!
Downey: That was a joke on set was that some scenes between Eliot and Kaira almost seemed too real that there wasn't something behind the scenes with Chris and Y/N.
Rodgers: So far no one has one the bet, but for season 2 you bet your ass I'm writing more Eliot and Kaira scenes so someone wins the damn bet.
*laughing*
Devlin: That day's gonna be interesting.
(A/N) I really hope you all enjoy this! Let me know if you want more of these!
Remember to favorite, and comment! Much love to you all! Stay safe!
