A warrior's spirit lost stories

Me: Alright your highness this one is yours.

Henrietta: thank you demi, so what are we going to do?

Me: here's the script.

Henrietta: (reads it) Oh my god…

Me: fan service is common but it's not to adult.

Henrieta: (blushing) Yeah it ain't, but with Tiffania?

Me: you're both girls so what's the harm?

Henrietta's letter:

POV: henrietta

It's been two months since Louise left with Colbert's exploration group. They promised to return in about two weeks. Now they have been gone for two months and I was worried for their lives. However all those worries were washed away as I soon got contact with them again. It was in the middle of winter when I received the letter. It all began when I got up this morning as I was have breakfast, it was simple toast and marmalade along with a boiled egg this time. I was sitting with Tiffania who was also worried.

"Henrietta… are you still worried?" Tiffania asked. I looked over to her and saw her worried face.

"Indeed I am… it's been two months since I've heard anything from them. And this year's winter is the coldest on to date." I answered.

"things are gonna get really worry some huh?" Tiffania said as she bit into her toast.

"yeah… I just hope that we will get a sign from them one way or another." I added as I took a bite of my egg.

"I hope so too." Tiffania said. We ate our breakfast silently after that. Little did I know was that today will be the day history was made, and a new era was on the rise. It all began when I was visiting the Academy to apologize to the head master Osmond.

"it's fine your majesty, it's my fault for allowing professor Colbert to go at this time of year." Osmond said in a sad tone.

"But I'm the one who agreed to it." I still felt guilty for allowing the group to go before winter… I should have waiter till spring, that way they could at least have a change coming back alive.

"No I was the one to set the dates." Osmond added.

"Hey it's ok. I'll be sure to compensate for all of this." I told the head master. When I left I was lucky to not fall victim for any of his pervy antics. At his age he should be more considerate to girls especially at his age. There were day that I wondered if he ever was married, or even had a lover in his youth. This always had me question his thoughts from time to time. However new of the expeditionary group survival came as soon as I returned from my trip to the academy. It was huge relief to learn that they were alive. However the news of it came so unexpected. What happened was that A page came running letter in hand as he pushed the door open. Many of the servants ran up to him to scold him. Here I was in the hall watching this event unfold.

"You're being rude to her majesty!" my butler scolded as he holds the poor page. One of the maids turned to me and bowed.

"I'm sorry to disturb you madam." A maid said apologetically.

"Everyone it all right!... Let him go." I told my servants. And they did and the page went down to his knees and presented the letter to me.

"your majesty… a letter from the expeditions group has arrived." The page said in a bit of a panicked tone. The page was trained to recognize the crest of every noble house in and out of the kingdom. So when he mentioned the expedition I had High hopes that they were either found or at least alright. I took the letter and gave the page a good look. He looked exhausted from the running and passing by the servants just to see me.

"Get some rest and take water." I told the page, and he did as he left to go and find a place to rest while the other servants decided to go get water. From what I've been told, a hawk has sent the letter instead of a pigeon, that is an interesting way to send mail. As I examined the envelope I noticed Colbert's seal on it, this go me so elated, I really hope that they were alive and well. However what puzzled me was the ink mark on top of the envelope. It was a thick circle with a cross inside it as if it was dividing it into quarters. I didn't recognize this mark, I don't even know if it was even a crest. Curiosity got the better of me and I took the letter out of envelope, but the letter wasn't the only thing that I pulled out. Inside of it were smaller pieces of some sort of smooth paper like material, I focused on the letter first, and as I read it the ink looked like that brush was used instead of a quill. That was when I start to read the letter.

"To Your majesty Henrietta de Tristian… I apologize for not contacting you sooner. But I'm pleased to tell you that our expedition was more than fruitfull despite some setbacks." As I continued to read the letter I realized that allot has happened over the weeks.

"a few days after we set foot we were captured by a group of bandits who planned to use us for randsom. And Agness got the misfortune of being poisoned with a poison made from wolfsbane, and was in desperate need of an antidote." This got me worried but as I continued to read the contents, Agness is one of my most loyal and skilled knight, to hear that she got poisoned really worries me, but then I realized that there was more to come.

"however as luck would have it, we were rescued by an unusual group off people. The called themselves the samurai. The local villagers told stories about them making them appear like demons from the forests that jump out a you from the mist, however those stories were a ruse they used to no one tries to invade their land." This was unexpected, a group of people protecting the mountains? Who are they? My thoughts were answered when I continued to read the contents.

"As I have soon learned, the samurai the warriors from the civilization that I was meant to find. Not only did they took us in to heal Agness, but they are also providing shelter for the winter. And now here we are enjoying their hospitality. Their leader Hiraga Saito was kind enough to let us stay at Shiroyama castle. He even proposed a political relationship with his country if the emperor allows it. Please consider it. Their technology is far beyond ours and their culture is so advanced, we can't even compare. Also I wish for you to consider." The letter was getting longer and longer as I read.

"not only that, the religion of the Rising sun is different as well. They worship a number of dieties, with the emperor of their country being considered a descendant to the sun goddess. They had proof of that lineage but I am abit skeptical on that matter." Another religion? If the church learns about this they would definitely would try to eradicate them, however this is really conflicting, many of the countries have a representative from the church in the form of a cardinal but this could be real trouble in politics, especially with the nobles allied to the church.

"Along with this letter are a set of pictures about the Samurai and their life. Also Agness is now recovered and is doing well, when spring arrives we will return… yours truly, Professor Jean Colbert." When I read the last part I knew Louise and the others are alive and well. Tears swell up in my eyes as the news of their survival overwhelmed my mind. But the thought of a nation hiding in isolation really got me surprised, never in my life would I have thought that a nation hiding in plain sight was just near our borders. I turned to look at the other pieces of papper and picked them up.

"If these are pictures then I wonder what they hold?" As I asked that question out loud, I turned them over and looked through them one by one. To my surprise the pictures are live like and showed every physical feature of the person with in the picture as if they were there. Some of them were together like they were a group, others were of doing some activities. When I saw the one of the entire group together in one picture, I knew that it was them, alive and well. Agness looked weak but seems to be doing well. As I went through the pictures I noticed that they were wearing some exotic clothing. Not only that, the colors and embroidery was amazing, as if a skilled royal tailor made those. However the one that got me curious was one of Louise. Louise is my cousin from my mother's side and I considered her as a sister which I never had. The picture was that of Louise with a tall handsome man who almost reminded me of wales. His messy black hair and his posture along with his facial features, it's as if he was probably his brother from another mother or something. But as I looked closer I knew that they weren't related.

"He looks handsome. I wonder who he actually is? Could he be the boy Louise was talking about?" I asked myself, As my thoughts continued to go about this mystery man Louise was with, in the picture, a knock on the door was heard.

"Your majesty can I come in?" that was Titanias voice so I decided to let her in.

"The door's open!" I called, and Tiffania walked in with a curious look on her face, she had always been naïve to the world but I'm happy to see my cousin. Tiffania was the only reminder I had of Wales, and I made a promise to myself to protect her from all my enemies. Despite her being an elf I still considered her family. My mother was happy yet surprised to learn that we had an elf in the family, but I'm getting ahead of myself so I want to know what she wants.

"Is it true that the expedition group survived?"Tiffania asked.

"They sure did." I nodded with a smile. Tiffania sighed as if a weight has been lifted off my shoulders.

"What a relief… I hope that they are fine." Tiffania said.

"Well they are… here take a look!" I answered as I gave the letter and the pictures to tiffania. She took the letter first and start to read the contents. She was smiling yet her face seems to be full of questions as she give a confused look. She always does that when she doesn't understand somethings. Then she looked at the pictures and was incredibly surprised.

"Wow! I never knew that there are more cultures out there." Tiffania said smiling. I swear she was like a kid on an adventure, I can't help but smile to at this.

"I know… it's really amazing to see how large the world actually is." I said.

"These samurai must be really terrifying if we ever fought them." Tifania's words struck me. I knew that these Samurai must have been great warriors but how great are they? Are they the equivalent to our knights or are they something else? these questions keep popping through my mind for a moments.

"Huh?" Tiffania's words seems to interrupt my thinking as she came across one picture.

"What is it?" I asked.

"Who is the man Louise is standing next to?" Tiffania asked.

"I don't know, maybe a friend or the boy she's been talking to me about during that party." I mentioned still thinking about the whole thing.

"Interesting." Tiffania said, she was still looking at the picture with interest or curiosity. It's almost as if she has seen the man before. Curiosity got the better of me and I asked the question.

"Have you seen him before?" I asked. Tiffania merely shook her head and answered my question.

"No I haven't… but there is a sense of familiarity in him. Almost as if I should know him yet I don't… I can't explain it though." Tiffnia answered. I nodded and stood up from my desk.

"It's ok" I answered.

"But still it's pretty weird though." Tiffania added.

"He we all have our moments. But first let us see how they are up to." I told my cousin. I gave the news to the families who were worried for their children who went on the expedition. The Valiere are very relieved to learn that their youngest was alright. The others were just as relieved.

"When our daughter returns I will make sure that she's unharmed. I can't have any of my daughters scarred for life." Duke de Valliere told me. After a long day of telling the parents of their children I somehow felt like taking a bath. As we got home I went to the bathroom and took my clothes off to get into the bath. It was a large bath use only by us royals to wash. As I got in I began cleaning myself, just then I heard a knock on the door and Tiffania's voice rang out.

"Henrietta may I join you?" this girl really wants to join doesn't she.

"Sure!" I called out. As tiffania walked in I couldn't help but notice her well-developed body. I wonder sometimes if all elves have a nice body as her or if it's her human blood mixed in that cause her to have an amazing body like that. She's even bigger than I am in the chest area, but I wonder if she's alright with these things. Louise often stared at our boobs wondering how we could even live with these things. They are a work out for our backs but I'm not complaining. As soon as she came in I smiled at her.

"You sure like to take baths with either me or Louise don't you?" I asked.

"Well I thought that it's really nice to be with friends even in a bath." Tiffania said smiling.

"Yeah but guys may get the wrong Idea and assault you." I teased.

"Hmmm?" Tiffania looked confused, making me realize how Naïve she was, then again that's tiffania for you. she can be really Naïve when it comes to the romance department, especially the nightly bedroom talks. And yet here I am still inexperienced in that department as well.

"Never mind… oh yeah did your brother knew about you?" I asked Tiffania.

"He did and I've only met him a few times. Father was very specific on hiding me and my mother from our enemies, however they got to all of them first before me." Tiffania answered.

"but any way what is thoughts on these Samurai Tiffania?" I asked.

"I don't know" TIffania answered as she thought.

"To be perfectly honest I think that they looked really nice in those outfits. But they are giving me a vibe that they should not be messed with or something" Tiffania's honest words were full of worry. I understand her point of view, I aslo feel a bit weary of these Samurai. There had been rumors about some shadowy organization at the mountains of some sort, but a full on country is unheard off. Colbert did find records of a civilization however it was farfetched to be real.

"I just hope that we can be civilized about a political relationship." I sighed, this could potentially bring either more allies and more enemies to the field, But if we were to stand on even grounds with Albion, Gallia, Romallia, or even Germania who we are planning an alliance with. The Reconquista are now consolidating their rule in Albion and I have a very bad feeling about their movements.

"I just hope that we can be friends with them." Tiffania said interrupting my thoughts, I just smiled at her.

"I hope so to." I said agreeing with her.

"Well let's hope that Louise and the others will come back after the winter freeze is over." Tiffania added.

"At least they will be alright. I wonder if that boy she's with is actually the one she's been telling us about." I said.

"Still the news is just still fresh in our memories so let us rejoice their survival." Tiffania said as she splashed the water. I laughed at her childish antics but I went along as splashed the water as well. I know it's not etiquette to splash the water when you are taking a bath but Tiffania is just so adorable when she's being a child. Just then when heard the head maid calling.

"Your majesty please don't splash the water!" the head maid called from the door.

"Sorry! We were just having fun!" I called back.

"It's my fault! So please forgive me!" Tiffania added.

"I'm glad that you see your error. But don't get the floor wet!" the maid called out.

"we got it!" I called out.

"Good, the towels and sleeping gowns are ready for you two so you won't have the hassle." The maid called out.

"Thank you! You may leave." I told the maid.

"Thank you you're majesty." With that I heard the distant sound of her footsteps leaving. As soon as she was out of earshot, I started laughing. Tiffania joined in and we laughed like we had just done a naughty prank. We laughed for a good minute to the point we needed to catch our breath. As we caught our breaths we decided to step out of the bath and dry ourselves up. As I stepped out of the tub picked up a towel and begin to dry myself.

"Henrietta… don't you think it's a good Idea if all three of us bath together?" Tiffania asked, I knew who she was referring to and began to look down on my own pair of curvy assets. Knowing Louise I bet she would stare or even ask questions on what I eat to make them this big.

"Louise may ask us on how developed we are." I told tiffania awkwardly.

"hmm?" tiffania's clueless reaction made me want to protect her innocents more and more. I understand allot more better why she has many potential suitors.

"Any way's let's get ready for bed. I've told the sevants that we'll be having dinner in bed today." as I told TIffania that I went to my chambers and got dressed in my night gown. A few minutes later Tiffania came in with a towel wrapped around her as she went behind the changing screen. We had dinner in our beds and went to sleep after that. I really hope that Louise is alright.

Days come and days went and the entire winter went uneventful. There had been many things going on here and there but nothing to serious. A case of a corrupt noble and a few scandals here and there, A couple of paper works needed to be signed and laws to check. Of course the winter festivals and mass at the church came and went, and every day was pretty normal for the most part. But every day I have waited for the day the expeditionary group would return home after winter is over. I hope that it wouldn't hinder their travel time.

Winter ended a month later and started preparations for a welcome home party for the expeditionary group. I was so happy to see Louise home after the entire season. When the day I've heard that they are back I immediately rushed to meet them, but I had to do it in a more courtly fashion as they say. Words cannot describe my happiness to see them alive and well. I have prepared a banquet to celebrate their return and many people were happy to see them back. The Ondine knights were happy that their commander is home, Louise's parents we glad to see he back, even the other welcomed. As the party went on I was really happy to see Louise getting noticed by some of the other nobles, even her chosen fiancé was glad to see her, however there had been a few changes in Louise's personality. She's been distant from him for some time so I decided to ask her when she was ready. And that was when she dropped the bomb. As it turns out their technological superiority was decades to centuries ahead of us. And what's more even though they have an emperor, the Aristocracy was no longer in power. And what's more, the Samurai were just there as an advanced group to warn the country before they'll get invaded and that their military might could be much stronger than what the Samurai showed. If this gets out then it there will be a commotion in all of the kingdoms. However they really wish to make relations with us and be a third party to our negotiations with the elves.

"things are going to get really interesting these days." I told myself as I stared out the window seeing Louise going back with her family. That night Louise told me everything about the country and her time with this Hiraga Saito person. if what Louise was saying is true, then I would really like to have him as a knight, however I must ensure that we have a good political relation with the rising sun empire. As my days continued I heard rumors of war coming along, I realy don't believe in rumors but as a monarch, any threat of war must be taken seriously even if it was taken as a joke. Little did I know was that war would be coming on our door step.

Henrietta: it went better than I imagined.

Tiffania:(blushing) but still that bath scene is just embaracing.

Me: I've done worse...

Henrietta: What is it?

Me: I won't say, but let's just say that I made characters do a little dance in bed.

Henrietta: oh… to much info.

Me: anyway up to the next one!
