"Everyone! Proceed to the shelters immediately! Do not panic, proceed in an orderly fashion!" I could hear the village coming alive with the wailing of alarms, rousing people from their beds as the emergency evacuation of the entire village began. My parents were quick with their work, I'm glad. Already I had created no less than twenty shadow clones, an impossible feat for a ten year old average student of the academy, but within my body I retained all the years' experience and training I had undergone through my Tsykuyomi, developing my chakra unwittingly to a monstrous level.

Each shadow clone dispersed in different directions, going to the points where I knew that the most damage would be done and where the most people would be injured in order to protect them from as much harm as possible. Another went directly to where the Nine Tails was set to appear, ready to fight against it as a means to gauge its power, speed and strength as well as attempt to control it with my own Mangekyo Sharingan. Myself, my real self, went straight to Itachi and Sasuke. Having wasted time helping to rouse people out of their beds, as well as prepare myself for this mission, I had only a few minutes left until the Nine Tails arrived.

"Itachi! Mikoto-san!" Raising my voice to call out to them, I dropped down onto their roof then leaped down to their backyard, my hair flaring upwards in a silver stream before I dropped into a crouch with one fist upon the ground.

"Yuki-chan, what are you doing here? And why are you dressed like that?" Wearing a full mesh shirt as well as an Uchiha crested jacket, I was outfitted with kunai pouches, explosive tags, a short sword suitable for my size and my hair was completely pulled back from my face in a high ponytail, only the shorter strands of my fringe falling free either side of my face as I rushed to stand upright.

"There is no time, we must go."

"Go? Where?" Itachi was looking at me in utter confusion but was already getting up onto his feet, cradling a crying Sasuke in his arms whilst trying to soothe him.

"Miyuki-chan? What's the matter? It is late in the evening, you should not make so much noise." Although it was a reprimand, Mikoto still smiled at me. Before I could attempt to explain, however, I felt the sudden overwhelming presence of the Nine Tails, causing me to freeze in place as the ground began to tremble, ripping throughout the village until a colossal roar sounded. "What was that!?" Alarmed, Mikoto whirled around trying to scan the skies, however I had snapped myself awake and charged forwards.

My arms went around Itachi's back and under his legs to lift him off the ground and carry him with a giant leap away from his house, setting him down before then returning with his mother. "Go to the shelters, quickly!" Casting out my hand I kept active my Mangekyo Sharingan which Mikoto only just noticed, staring at me with wide eyes of shock. I created another shadow doppelganger to stay with them, receiving the information of the one that had been destroyed against the Nine Tails. I see, it was completely under the control of Obito Uchiha, who had summoned it here.

I had no time to deal with both Obito and the Nine Tails, so for the moment I focused on the greater threat. The Nine Tails. Just one pound of its tail was enough to destroy entire buildings, filling the night with the screams of those who had not yet been evacuated. Even as I leaped across the rooftops, running as fast as I was able, I saw other ninja flickering back and forth as they too rose to hold off the Nine Tails, whilst I occasionally saw my own shadow doppelgangers carrying weak or wounded civilians away from the battleground.

There was also a shadow clone assigned to my parents, this time determined to keep them both alive. My Mangekyo Sharingan intensified, tinging the edge of my vision with a distinctive red as I faced the giant fox with its snarling maw and black accented eyes. You will find no victory this night, Obito. Your despair over your love's death will not bring the destruction of Konoha, not whilst I still live and breathe. "Hey kid, get out of here! What the heck do you think you're doing?!" One of the Konoha Leaf ninja yelled to me, attempting to grab me by the back of my shirt but I effortlessly dodged them, summersaulting over my head and landed on someone else's shoulder to leap high up into the air.

When the Fourth Hokage appeared, the sudden rise in chakra was enough to catch the Nine Tail's attention, its head swinging towards Hokage Cliff in order to snarl and glower. Opening its jaw wide, I observed as it created a massive biju bomb of dark purple and black, the sphere of power enough to destroy over half of Konoha. "Kamui!" With my Mangekyo Sharingan, I stared down the Nine Tail's attack as he released it, watching as it powered directly towards where Lord Minato was waiting, preparing to send it away with his own jutsu, but I got there first. He needed to preserve his strength for his wife and child, and I had plenty to spare.

The attack disappeared into my own time-space, making me grunt from the sheer force of chakra I had transferred and I could hold it for only a few seconds before I turned and thrust out my palm, opening my Kamui once more to send the biju bomb directly back at the Nine Tails. It struck before the beast could even react, getting hit square in the chest which lifted it directly off its paws and flung it high into the air and out of the boundaries of the village. I am satisfied with this result, though I do not know how many times I can absorb the biju bomb into my Kamui. It possesses the capability to destroy my own alternate dimension should it explode within.

Landing back upon a rooftop, I straightened myself up to surveying the situation once more, calculating everything in my head, including all possible outcomes and how to best achieve the results that I wanted. For the moment, I had to wait for the Fourth Hokage to return from his battle with Obito in order to teleport the Nine Tails far away from the village, for even though the beast had been pushed out of the borders of the village, it had withstood his own attack and was currently bounding forwards to return. Clenching my teeth, I lowered my stance then powered my chakra into my feet, clearing the distance as I charged directly at the Nine Tails. "Everybody, remain on the defensive, we must not-!" The Third Hokage's order stopped when I dropped down beside him, everyone staring at me as my rippling silver white hair caught the moonlight, making me extremely visible as I ignored them all and continued past them. "STOP!"

Lord Third attempted to grasp hold of me but I was too quick, already closing in on the Nine Tails. My hands weaved several signs together, kneading the chakra in my belly before I summoned a deep breath of oxygen, stoking the flames within to an increasingly powerful level. "Fire Style – Fire Dragon God Jutsu!" Three dragon heads burst into life as I expelled the fire from my lungs, the bright intensity lighting everything around and below me as I sent them spiralling towards the Nine Tails. It growled and swiped at them but his claws passed through as I manipulated the flames with my chakra, continuing to exhale the flames until I was out of breath.

Still, it was an effective attack. The three blazing dragons were enough to distract the Nine Tails, soaring in circles around it as he swiped and bellowed, attempting to pin them down as they continually crashed against his flanks and chest, pushing him further backwards once more. "You will not hurt them. Not this time." Vowing upon my shinobi soul, I stood tall against the onslaught of my attack until all at once the three dragons charged, still controlled by my chakra to explode against the Nine Tails all at once.

Outraged, the Nine Tails swung his head around until finally spotting me, drawing back its lips and revealing huge fangs which could crush me in a heartbeat. I watched as it lowered its head and turned slightly to eyeball me with one, genjutsu overcome eyed, the image of a three pointed Sharingan looking down upon me. Now it sees me, and I looked directly back without fear. Lifting my hand I reached out towards it, angling my body and lowering my stance ready to jump as I cast my own genjutsu upon it. "Be still!" The rumbling growl fell silent and all nine tails thudded as they went limp upon the ground, carving nine new riverbanks into the earth as the demon became sullen and obedient like a puppy.

Taking several deep breaths, I lowered my hand, hoping that this would be the end of it, however I suddenly sensed Obito's chakra return and all at once, the Nine Tailed fox demon was writhing once more. A claw swung for the building I was standing upon, forcing me to jump upwards and, with nowhere else to land, I had no choice but to jump onto the Nine Tails itself. The furred muzzle was rippled from its snarling maw, forcing me to quickly find my balance and move as it swung its head back and forth in a bid to shake me off. Not good.

Opening its jaws, the Nine Tails began to make another biju bomb and for a moment, I felt a flare of alarm rush through me as I struggled to regain my rattled senses. Before I could even activate my Kamui, I sensed a rush of jutsu which teleported both myself and the Nine Tails out of the village to a remote area, where the biju bomb was then let off into the skies. Squeaking, I hurried to jump down off the Nine Tails' head and raced for cover, sensing Lord Minato, Kushina and their new son Naruto also.

Before I knew it Kushina had erected a barrier jutsu around us, huge chains darting out of her back, into the ground and then wrapped themselves around the Nine Tails in order to restrain him even as she struggled to even hold herself up. The people of the Uzumaki clan were extraordinary, I felt nothing but amazement and admiration for her peerless strength. Kushina has not only given birth, but also had the Nine Tails extracted from her. By all accounts, she should be dead. Turning around I moved closer to them, staying within the shadows as I observed the family which had grown by one only a few minutes earlier. Minato was holding Naruto who had begun to cry, Kushina smiling weakly as she struggled for breath but continued to speak regardless of her condition.

"Minato…I'll take Nine Tails with me to my death…so that the time before he reappears is delayed. It's all I can manage right now with my remaining chakra to help you two." Coughing as blood dribbled down her chin, Kushina looked up at her husband with such infinite love that it made me think of my own feelings for Itachi, though I knew I would have to hide them away once more as he was only a boy and knew nothing of what we had gone through. "Thank you, Minato."

"Kushina! You are the one who made me the Fourth Hokage, who made me your husband and made me this child's father, and yet I'm useless!"

"Don't look so sad, I'm happy that you loved me, and besides." Reaching out to her son Kushina gently touched his cheek, softly calming him down from the loud wail he was releasing from such a tiny pair of lungs. "It is our son's birthday." She continued to speak of how she imagined their life together and how happy they would be, and as I looked at the couple who were so utterly in love and prepared to sacrifice everything for their son, I came to a decision.

Beforehand, I had been uncertain on whether or not I should prevent Kushina Uzumaki's and Lord Minato's deaths, but now that I looked upon them and remembering how miserable Naruto had been growing up alone, I knew that I could not stand to see it all over again. Naruto will not grow up any different, for I will ensure that he still becomes the Nine Tails' vessel and I was confident that he would still be as compassionate and incredible as he would grow up to be. If any deviation from the outcome of the future was to be had…well then, I shall have to take responsibility for it and fix it myself.

"Kushina, there's no need for you to die to kill the Nine Tails. Preserve what little of your chakra remains for your reunion with Naruto." The Fourth Hokage announced in a quiet tone, eyes becoming cold and steely as he looked up towards the demon. "I'm going to seal the rest of your chakra inside Naruto. It'll be part of an eight signed seal, and then I'll take Nine Tails with me. With the sealing jutsu I can do, not being a Jinchuriki…the Shikifujin Reaper death seal." Making my way forwards, I kept myself out of sight until the last minute, just before Lord Minato was going to begin the sign weaving for the fatal jutsu that would claim his life.

It was then that I burst from the shadows, flying through the air with a rotatory kick which smacked him in the side of the head before he could even react, knocking him to the ground in complete unconsciousness. "Minato!" Kushina screamed his name as she clutched Naruto against her, struggling to hold the Nine Tails back. "Who are you? What do you want with my son?! Wait…Miyuki…Uchiha?" Softening, I knelt down before Kushina and remained perfectly calm, pressing my fist into the ground and bowing my head in a respectful manner.

"Lady Kushina, please do not be afraid, I am here to save you all." I promised her before I then held out my arms. "Allow me to continue the wish of Lord Fourth, to seal the Nine Tails within your son Naruto, and you both may live to watch him grow."

"I…cough-cough…I cannot…how do I know…?" Seeing that I could not persuade Kushina to trust me on blind faith, I activated my Tsykuyomi and cast the genjutsu upon her, altering the time flow so that we could spend as much time as we needed to talk. "What did you do?"

"Please remain still." Reaching into one of my pouches I pulled free some military ration pills and gave them to Kushina to eat, however she was more concerned for the fact that Naruto was no longer with her. "This is a genjutsu, Naruto is safe. I control time here, so we may speak as much as needed, and less than a second will pass in reality."

"What?" Her eyes widened at me but I did not explain further, merely offered her the pills as a sign of goodwill, even though it was only a genjutsu. In the real world, I allowed my body to act as mine did in this genjutsu, giving Kushina the pills to help replenish some of he lost chakra so that she would not falter. "Those eyes of yours, those are not ordinary Sharingan."

"No, they are not." Exhaling softly, I sat down before Kushina so that I did not have to look down upon her, for she was still on her hands and knees. "Lady Kushina, I do not know how to explain this to you in a way that will make you believe me." Her eyes narrowed fiercely, looking at me full of suspicion.

"You can start with the truth, ya know!" I blinked, recognising the verbal behaviour as identical to that of Naruto's in the future. It made me chuckle a little inwardly.

"My bloodline limit allows me to see into the future." Now I had her attention, staring at me open mouthed in shock. "I know what will happen, and I know how to stop it. Lady Kushina, you will not last much longer unless you allow me to save you. Both you, Lord Fourth and your son. Unfortunately, it is his destiny for him to become the Nine Tails' Jinchuriki, but he will not be alone. I shall make sure that he will remain safe, and seek to save the future of our village until my very last breath." All the while I spoke Kushina had stared at me with her mouth agape, hearing my words until finally, she smiled a mother's smile.

"Miyuki…I never expected someone as quiet and meek as you to have so much Will of Fire in their soul." Surprised by Kushina's words and a little confused at their meaning, I cocked my head at her with a blank expression as finally, she beamed at me and even ruffled my hair. "You have come all this way at ten years old to save us all, to ensure the continuation of Konoha, right? The Will of Fire is the willpower to protect those you care for, as well as those who are strangers to you but all of the same village. I don't know what it is, maybe it's my new maternal instincts, but I feel like I can trust you with my son's life, ya know?" Grinning at me, her face then returned to the beautiful placidness of before, bright scarlet hair framing her features. "Alright. I trust you, Miyuki."

"Thank you, Lady Kushina." Bowing down before her, I ended the genjutsu and the moment Kushina was awake, she placed Naruto in my arms. Suddenly she coughed, losing her grip on the Nine Tails who immediately howled in rage and brought a clawed paw crashing down upon us. My eyes flared with bright crimson, glaring back at the demon. "Be still." Emphasising my words I placed the demon under my own power, forcing it to adhere to my will so that its claw froze in place a mere few inches above Kushina, hovering over Naruto in my arms.

The demon drew back its claw, growling under its breath as I continued to keep it locked down. "Kushina-sama, you may end your jutsu now. The Nine Tails is under my influence." Nodding her head, Kushina collapsed against the ground and the chains immediately snapped, her eyes growing distant so I carefully listened to her heartbeat. The moment the chains were off I began the sealing jutsu I had learned from my future experience, carefully copying part of what Lord Minato had intended. I placed Naruto upon the ground after using an earth style jutsu to make a little mound for him almost like a cradle, wrapped up in a blanket and finally sleeping peacefully.

My hands weaved the signs and instantly I focused my jutsu upon the Nine Tails, giant chains of my own bursting out of Naruto's stomach after I had touched it, forming an eight signed seal upon his tiny body. After a moment a second chain appeared and I channelled my chakra through them both, using my ocular powers to separate the Nine Tails' chakra into two, one yin and one yang. The yang half I placed into Naruto, sealing it within the child which only left the second half, the yin chakra of the Nine Tails.

Part of me considered sealing it inside myself, however I was not confident that I would be able to tame it, or ever master its power. I was strong now, but only because of the chakra that I had managed to gather and store over many decades of my Tsykuyomi as I was seeing into the future, as it had somehow channelled back into my original body. Eventually it would wear out, or I would become overcome with the vast amounts of chakra and it could kill me. To add the Nine Tails' to the already overflowing chakra I carried, may prove to be certain and instantaneous death. I was conflicted. My death would only prevent the Nine Tails from reappearing again, but at least it would only be at half its usual power.

Yet, there was still much more that I needed to do. Could I risk it all? Did I dare? Was there another way? My mind racked itself for ideas until suddenly, an idea came to mind. My Kamui. I could trap it in my alternate dimension with a perfected seal and keep the yin half of the demon under a genjutsu. It was perfect! No one else other than an Uchiha would be able to keep the demon under control indefinitely, and since I had my Mangekyo Sharingan, I knew that I would be able to control it at the very least. "Kamui!" Aware of the fact that the Third Hokage and several Leaf ninja were watching behind me, I drew the weakened Nine Tails into my own dimension, whereby I immediately trapped it with totem gates and several sealing jutsu.

They were identical to all the ones I had learned from my future studies, most originating from the Uzumaki Clan, who were sealing specialists. With my Tsykuyomi, I placed the demon into a deep sleep to dream pleasant dreams, to be free in its own mind and wander where it willed. It will be quiet and peaceful in there, and no one but me will ever be able it reach it. I had done it, I had…

Without warning I felt extremely faint and weak, falling to the ground on my side where I immediately felt as if my lungs were burning for air whilst I was being drenched in a river of swear. In the distance, I was aware that Naruto was crying, but by this point the Fourth Hokage was stirring and Lord Third had arrived, going first to Kushina, then to Naruto. The Nine Tails was gone, thank goodness, and even though my senses were fading, I recognised the chakra signatures of my parents and felt them come running towards me. I blinked, the light fading away and then…nothing.
