Etude Op. 25, No. 6 in g-sharp minor ("Double Thirds")
A warm finger traced around his ear, brushing his hair back. Shuhei shivered. That single burning touch transformed into fingers entwined in his hair while a gentle palm caressed his face. Shuhei sighed as Kai settled across his lap, pressing him into the couch and resting their foreheads together, eyes sparkling with mischief.
"Are you a fermata? Because I want to hold you," Kai giggled, his breath warm between them.
"That was terrible and you know it," Shuhei whispered, flushed and barely breathing. His hands closed on two fistfuls of Kai's shirt. He inhaled deeply, relishing in Kai's scent and beautiful eyes grown wide.
Shuhei tugged. Kai fell forward. And their lips met.

Author's notes: This etude sounds a bit sultry to me. In a very sweet and romantic way.
I remember being like, "oh I love the etudes because they're all so distinctive and unique!" Bah. Discovering here that I don't actually have that range as a writer. But then again, what does a pianist do when learning a piece in an unfamiliar style? We learn it, damn it! We study it and make it our own! So here it is, my first, halting, stuttering attempt at a physical interaction! kljsahfjhdsjk
