At the entrance to the gardens, the same monster approaches the flowers. He is watched by cameras. The cowboys show up and point the guns at the monster. The cowboy shoots the monster in the leg. Meanwhile, Jack is watching the activity.
"As you know, the monster that was from the previous mission was shot in the leg." said Jack.
"I know." said Alex.
"It was the cowboys. They specialize in assassination." said Ferrel.
Ferrel and his men are at the briefing room along with Hammond. Jack continues the briefing with a slideshow.
"You have a go." said Hammond. "Suit up."
At the forest, Ferrel and his men enter the woods. They come upon a symbol. Jack then sees activity where several cowboys flogging a monster who is lifting wood.
"He's in trouble." said Ferrel.
At the village, several monsters are kidnapped and turn them to slaves. One monster escapes slavery and is shot in the back. Ferrel and his men show up.
"Who are you?" asked the cowboy.
"We are people who saves the world from murderous killers." said Ferrel.
The cowboy points the gun at Ferrel.
"We are looking for peace." said Jack.
The cowboy lowers the gun.
"I'm Herold." said Herold, who is a cowboy. "It is a pleasure to meet you. Follow me this way."
At the restaurant overrun by monsters, Ferrel and Jack converse with Herold. The monster gives three drinks and a beer and places them on the table where Ferrel is sitting.
"Thank you." said Ferrel. "Miss May and Alex are finding the way to the village along with Pete and Sam."
Back at the village, Miss May and Alex show up.
"What took you so long?" asked Ferrel.
"I had to take care of the purgers first." said Shoutmon.
At the cage, the monster speaks inside. Herold looks at the other monster before several cowboys point the guns at Ferrel and Jack. The other monster is free. At the village, Ferrel and Jack interrogates Herold. Afterwards, they go to the farm. At the exit, Sam and Pete greets Ferrel and Jack.
"So, these monsters are turned into slaves so that they can be flogged and shot." said Sam.
"Yes." said Ferrel.
"Miss May, we should be on a lookout." said Jack
At night, the monster gives hay to the other one. He speaks to the other monster and exchanges looks. Ferrel and Jack infiltrate the same room where the monster is being held captive.
"Watch your fingers." said Ferrel.
Ferrel frees the monster. Miss May uses the sniper rifle to engage on several men.
"Ferrel, you must summon Renamon." said Miss May.
"Understood." said Ferrel.
Ferrel summons Renamon only to get shot. They are then sent to the prison cell by the cowboy. Later in the morning, Ferrel gives the walkie talkie to Jack so that he can talk to Alex, Shoutmon and Miss May.
"This is Jack, do you copy?" said Jack.
"Copy." said Miss May.
"I was locked up in a prison cell." said Ferrel. "And my DigiVice has been taken away."
"Let's find it and get out of here." said Jack.
Ferrel convinces the monsters to get out of the cell until the cowboys show up.
"Stealing is punishable by death." said Herold.
"I know." said Jack. "And we are not mass murderers or thieves."
"I knew that, sir." said Herold.
Herold puts a bullet on the key hole, seriously injuring Ferrel. The monsters are screaming because they want out.
"Shut up, shut up!" cried Herold before shooting one of the monsters in the chest, killing him.
Herold walks away from Ferrel. Meanwhile, Alex, Shoutmon and Miss May go to Ferrel and Jack undetected.
"We must get to the cell undetected." said Miss May.
She then summons Biyomon and uses a box to trick Herold into not seeing. Afterwards, Biyomon frees the others only to be locked up like the rest of the crew. Alex and Shoutmon leave the area. They use a tall box to go to the cell undetected. Miss May summons Tentomon and blows up the cart, killing three villagers. The second card blows up. Alex and Shoutmon attack three villagers and free Ferrel, Jack and Biyomon along with the monsters. The lock blows up in all cells. The flames engulf throughout the village.
"Let's get out of here!" cried Shoutmon.
At the exit, Ferrel and his men get the monsters to safety. The gate is intact when they arrive at the exit. From there, Alex turns against the monsters by shooting it in the back. The cowboys ambush Ferrel's men and engage in a shootout. Ferrel summons Meicoomon and Renamon at the same time to defeat Herold.
"Any last words, sir?" said Meicoomon.
Meicoomon uses the Charm of the Noble powerup to kill Herold.
"Senpai, we must get going to the exit before more villagers arrive." said Meicoomon.
"Understood." said Renamon.
Ferrel and his men say goodbye to the monsters who was freed from slavery.
