The episode opens with Ferrel's men returning from a mission.
"Welcome back, kid." said Hammond.
"Our job here is done." said Ferrel.
"Your initial reports are that your enemies are taken care of." said Hammond.
"Indeed." said Alex.
"Let's wrap this up with a debriefing." said Hammond. "And I'll talk to the president about the planets."
At the briefing room, Ferrel's men along with the politicians are gathered to discuss about the new mission.
"Here's a new mission. The new mission is to find the way to get to Cherubimon, who is responsible for starting a series of deadly attacks." said Miss May.
"We need Agumon and Gabumon on this mission." said Jack.
"Ferrel, Jack and Alex will go on a mission while you, Pete and Shoutmon would like you to confirm on Cherubimon's whereabouts. Summon Meicoomon just in case." said Hammond.
At the control room, Miss May talks to Jane, a new person in town, about the mission. Later, the gate is activated. Ferrel and his men greet Jane, who joins the mission.
"After you." said Miss May.
At the plains, Ferrel and his men along with Jane are exploring. The gate is activating while it is moving to the down position. The priest shows up.
"Welcome to the plains." said the priest. "This is an unauthorized mission."
"We're here to get to Cherubimon." said Ferrel. "Tell him, Meicoomon."
At the control room, Hammond talks to the technician. Meanwhile at the plains, Meicoomon sees a man. Impmon accompanies Meiccomon.
"Mei-mei, this is the farmer named Bernie." said Impmon.
"Nice to meet you." said Meicoomon.
"It's nice to meet you." said Bernie.
Jane and the priest transport Ferrel and Miss May to the ship. They are greeted by the man named Harold.
"In the next mission, Cherubimon will be here." said Harold.
Ferrel looks at the plains from the ship.
"Alex, Shoutmon and Jack, we're at the ship." said Ferrel.
Alex, Shoutmon, Jack, Meicoomon and Impmon are still at the farm. Sam and Pete dig the hole only to find a corpse.
"That smell…" said Pete.
"That must be Cherubimon." said Sam.
"He used several people to kill a farmer." said Pete.
Jack, Alex, Shoutmon, Meicoomon and Impmon are inside the underground shop. Ferrel and Miss May hear the gate.
"Don't be alarmed." said the priest. "It's just the gate."
At the shop, Jack found the entrance to the tomb. At the control room, SG5, a group of new soldiers are on the mission with Hammond. Still at the ship, Miss May and Ferrel is presented by a holograph of Cherubimon.
"That purple skinned guy… that must be the source of the purgers." said Miss May.
At the control room, the new soldiers go to the embarkation room.
"Listen up, people. The mission will be scrubbed due to the supply shortage, you may stand down." said Hammond.
Inside the tomb, Meicoomon and Impmon are looking at the tomb.
"That must be the place." said Impmon.
Meicoomon's eyes transition into a cross to find information. The conversation continues at the ship. Still at the tomb, Meicoomon found several dead bodies.
"That must be it. These dead bodies mean that we found some proof that Cherubimon is here." said Meicoomon.
At the embarkation room, Ferrel and Miss May return to the headquarters and go to the control room.
"We found proof that Meicoomon and Impmon are still inside the tomb with Alex, Shoutmon and Jack." said Hammond.
"They found dead bodies." said Miss May.
"This means that Cherubimon is hidden." said Ferrel.
At the tomb, Meicoomon and Impmon are still exploring. Ferrel and Miss May summon Terriermon and Palmon for extraction. They then find a way in, where Sam and Pete are located. Later, at the briefing room, Meicoomon and Impmon debrief with a paper containing disturbing imagery. Later in Washington D.C., Ferrel and his men go to the Capitol building, only to be held at gunpoint, taking them as hostages.
"You call that a greeting?" asked Shoutmon.
Later at the briefing room, Hammond starts a new briefing. Alex and Shoutmon return to the headquarters after a hostage situation.
"Sorry I took so long." said Jack.
"So, when do we leave for the next mission?" asked Miss May.
At the embarkation room, Jane appears. At the ship, Miss May and Jane return to find the bloodied map and Cherubimon's whereabouts. The priests show the map.
"That must be Cherubimon's map." said Jane.
"I should have summoned Palmon." said Miss May.
They hear a gate activating.
"Get your a*ses to the gate now!" cried Jane.
"How?" asked Miss May. "It's lying down."
Jane attacks the priest just as Miss May drops herself down to the gate. At the embarkation room, Miss May returns with Palmon.
"Close the iris!" cried Hammond.
The iris is closed just in time. This causes the boss to be angry.
"Ferrel, you'll pay for your crimes." said the boss.
"Sir…" said Ferrel.
"Good night." said the boss.
