The episode begins with flashbacks including Miss May and Jack being kidnapped. It transitions to the ship. Ferrel and his men are gathered at the briefing room. They talk about the ship that is approaching to Earth.

"This ship comes from Montana." said Miss May. "Actually, this comes from the shores of Osaka."

"Well, yes." said Hammond. "Thank you."

"Then we must locate Marshall immediately." said Alex.

Meanwhile, in the alternate universe, Marshall and his men are engaging in a shootout with the purgers. This is actually the film set for a new movie called "Detective Agumon", a spin-off of the film series. Later, at the briefing room, Ferrel's men and Hammond are watching a video for "Detective Agumon". This trailer depicts Marshall, Skye, Rocky, Zuma, Chase and Rubble fighting with Detective Agumon to save the world. The video ends with an announcer greeting the audience with a middle finger.

"Here's to crime, people!" cried the announcer.

The briefing continues.

"Listen, you watched the video. Let's talk to the people." said Hammond.

At the set, several actors play several characters depicted in the video. Meicoomon and Renamon are summoned at the scene.

"How may I help you?" asked the director.

"I'm here to find out who are the actors for Skye and the others." said Renamon.

"We don't talk to Digimon, only humans." said the director.

"Sorry." said Renamon. "Let's go back inside."

At the briefing room, Hammond receives a phone call from Ferrel.

"Yeah, yeah?" asked Hammond. "Ferrel, did Meicoomon talk to the director? Ah, I see… Bye."

"Let's suit the heck up." said Shoutmon.

At the set of "Detective Agumon", Chase is hugging Skye in front of the corpse. The filming ceases after touching Skye's breasts.

"Cut! Cut!" cried the director. "This is not a romantic scene, this is an action scene!"

"I'm sorry." said Chase. "How about without any corpses?"

"Good idea." said the director. "Take three! Marker and action!"

At the dark room, we see pictures depicting Veemon making out with a human. At the briefing room, Dr. Laura shows up.

"How may I help you, Dr. Laura?" asked Hammond.

"I found pictures with Meicoomon and Renamon. They are trespassing because they are Digimon, not humans." said Dr. Laura.

"Okay, then." said Hammond. "Send the police in."

At the set, Rocky, one of the main characters for "Detective Agumon" talks to the producers. Alex shows up as a civilian with donuts. At the house, Jack and Miss May are investigating the house with Palmon and Gaomon summoned. At the studio, the new scene depicts Marshall and Rocky fighting the monk known as Fuji, who is working with the band of criminals.

"Take four." said the director.

Outside of the set, Ferrel is talking to the director about the action scene.

"How's the filming of one scene where Rocky and Marshall fighting a monk?" asked Ferrel.

"Good." said the director.

Ferrel receives a call from Palmon.

"Miss May's right, they are bunch of crooks." said Palmon.

"Who?" asked Ferrel.

"The new director is using 'Detective Agumon' as a set up!" cried Palmon.

"A set up for what?" asked Ferrel.

"An attack!" said Palmon.

At the office, Ferrel and Alex greet the officer. They give the card to the officer. Alex and Ferrel then rush to the house. They drive past the sign that says "NO DIGIMON ALLOWED". They then arrive at the house where the director live. Ferrel and Alex along with Miss May, Jack and Palmon are finding the director. Meanwhile at the set, the new scene depicts a romantic encounter between Skye and Rubble. The scene ends after Ferrel receives a call from Miss May.

"Any word?" asked Ferrel.

"No, nothing. The director is responsible for using a movie set as a scene of the crime." said Miss May.

"Where is he now?" asked Ferrel.

"I don't know. Meicoomon will know." said Miss May.

At the office, Ferrel converses with the director. The conversation ends when Miss May and Jack infiltrate the set. They see several men working.

"Freeze!" cried Palmon. "I'm a plant-type Digimon and you are under arrest!"

"Hands up!" cried Jack.

"Don't move!" cried Miss May.

"You lower your weapons." said the producers.

At the empty lot, the director greets Ferrel. They are then ambushed by the producers.

"Not this again." said Ferrel. "Let's summon Terriermon and get this over with."

Ferrel summons Terriermon only to be arrested. Afterwards, the director and Ferrel are tied up to a chair. They are then interrogated.

"Welcome." said the producer.

The producer injects the director with the special drug that will kill him instantly. Meanwhile, Miss May and Jack along with Palmon are arrested for the crimes. Later at the same spot, Alex and Shoutmon come to the rescue to free Ferrel and the director, who is still alive, despite the lethal injection.

"I remember now." said the director. "Oh no. The new movie called 'Detective Agumon' is based on the anime series."

At the set, Skye and Rocky are engaging in a fight to rescue Detective Agumon, an Agumon with a hat. At the room, Miss May and Jack are still being held captive. At the same set, Chase and Marshall are continuing the fight on the other side.

"Cut!" cried the director.

Inside the truck, Ferrel and the director are ambushed by the criminals. He then receives a call from Miss May.

"The ID will be here any minute. At least, we took care of the criminal." said Palmon.

"See you there. Come on, Alex." said Ferrel.

The production abruptly ends when the real ship shows up.

"It's the ship known as Kryak." said the director.

The truck shows up.

"There's nothing we can do to stop me." said the man.

"Here, you win!" said Ferrel.

Ferrel gives the device to the man. The director was happy that the real ship arrives to Earth.

"Cut, that's a wrap!" cried the director.

"We did it." said Ferrel.

The episode ends with the montage of the new film and interviews with the cast, such as Skye and Chase.
