Ch. 2: Seigi wa hitei sa remashita. Tabi
Several hours later, the scene shifts at the hospital where doctors tried everything they could to stabilize Izuku, which a brief flashback scene revealed that a passing police car showed up and saw Izuku and Hisashi are sprawled on the ground and the two cops called for an ambulance.
As the doctors were able to stabilize Izuku, a visiting doctor with a semi-healing Quirk came and heard of the situation and offered to assist for free, and as the visiting doctor uses his Quirk, Izuku is slowly stabilizing and there one of the nurses saw Inko standing outside the operating room and told her that her son is out of danger and will be okay.
"Your son is out of danger."
"Really?"
"Yes."
"…"
"Its okay now…"
"Oh…thank you…thank you…!"
"There, there…"
"…"
A few hours later, at the recovery room, Naomasa Tsukauchi came and met Inko, as he got word of what happened to Izuku, and after talking to the attending doctors he suspected that the attacker possess a Quirk and uses it to attack Izuku while murdering Hisashi.
Inko wept as she confirmed that her husband is dead and wondered who would do something this horrible, and there Izuku slowly woke up yet he is in pain due to the injuries he sustained, but he fought through the pain and told his mom and Tsukauchi what happened and who is behind the attack.
Tsukauchi stared wide-eyed at hearing the testimony and couldn't believe what he just heard. Geese Howard just murdered an innocent man and nearly killed an innocent boy, as well as hearing that Geese is said to possess a Quirk, and he asked Izuku once more for confirmation.
"Can I ask you just to confirm it…?"
"…yes…"
"This man in this picture…he's the one who attacked you…?"
"…yes…"
"And he killed your dad…?"
"…yes…"
"And this man has a Quirk…?"
"…yes…"
Having recorded the testimony, Tsukauchi told Inko that he will do everything he can to get justice as well as to put Geese behind bars, which Inko nodded and thanked him for his help, which Tsukauchi said that it is nothing.
"You have my word…I'll see to it that Geese Howard will pay…"
"Yes, please do…"
"I'll do everything I can…"
"Yes, please…"
"Rest assured I will exhaust all means to prove that Geese Howard is the murderer…"
"Oh, thank you…thank you…!"
"Its nothing, ma'am…"
"…"
As Tsukauchi left, Inko glanced at Midoriya, and saw him trembling and weeping, questioning why he was born Quirkless and why he couldn't save his own dad, and Inko cried as she apologized non-stop, feeling that it was her fault that her only child was born Quirkless.
"Oh, Izuku…"
"…"
"I'm sorry…"
"…"
"I'm sorry, Izuku..."
"…"
"I'm really sorry…!"
"…"

A several weeks later, the scene shifts at a courtroom where Geese Howard is being indicted for frustrated murder and serious physical injuries, and there two lawyers are present, one representing Geese and the other one representing Izuku.
Geese's lawyer is shrewd yet he is able to maintain a good reputation and managed to keep critics from questioning his profession, and yet lzuku's lawyer was able to stand his ground with Izuku, and despite his nervousness, Izuku was able to narrate the events of that fateful day accurately with no hints of lying.
Izuku's lawyer then suggested that Geese undergo a Quirk test so as to prove that Geese posses a Quirk which the judge agreed on the grounds of wanting to know if Geese really has a Quirk or not. Geese's lawyer appeared apprehensive as this would expose his client, but Geese told his lawyer not to worry.
"Its okay."
"Huh?"
"I'll take the test."
"Are you sure? You'll be exposed!"
"Don't worry. I got things planned out."
"Really?"
"Yes."
"Okay…"
A week later, the people inside the courtroom await the results, with the trial being aired live and people watching the live news wondered what the results would be and whether Geese would be prosecuted further given Izuku's testimony and detailed description of the day of the incident.
As the judge looks on, the jurors assembled and read the results given to them and glanced at the judge before giving him the test results, and after reading it, the judge announced that Geese Howard is declared QUIRKLESS.
Izuku stared wide-eyed in disbelief at hearing this, as is Inko and the lawyer representing the boy, as they couldn't believe what they just heard, and the lawyer asked if he is sure about the results, and the judge said that the results given to him is proof of it, and Izuku started to weep, as he couldn't believe that Geese is able to get away with the crime the American committed.
After a few hours the jurors reached a decision and Geese Howard is declared INNOCENT, and therefore cannot be prosecuted despite Izuku's testimony. Inko wept at this while the lawyer is in disbelief that things turn out like this. Then Geese's lawyer approached the judge and told him that his client would sue the Midoriya family for the defamation that Izuku made, and the judge obliges, and the lawyer representing Izuku stared in shock when told that Geese would sue the Midoriya family amounting to almost one million US Dollars.
"…and that's that…"
"Are you out of your mind?"
"You ought to ask that kid. He started it."
"What the heck did you do?"
"Hey, I'm just a lawyer. The lab where my client submitted proved that my client is really Quirkless."
"That's not…"
"The results says so…and the judge said it… my client is innocent…and your client will pay for the CHILDISH PRANK he pulled…"
"You…!"
Viewers watching the live trial had varying opinions, with some felt that maybe Geese is innocent, others cast doubts and some felt that something is off as they felt that Izuku wasn't lying during the testimony he made during the trial.
"So that guy is innocent after all…"
"Maybe…"
"But the kid wasn't lying…"
"I bet the kid was coached…hence the GOOD ACTING…"
"I bet that kid did that because he was Quirkless..."
"Still what would happen to that kid now he lost the case…"
"I wonder…"
"Whatever…"
The judge declared that the trial is adjourned and the charges against Geese Howard dismissed, and leaves the courtroom, and Geese smirked diabolically before leaving as well.
Unknown to everyone, Geese bribed not only the judge and jurors, but also the officials at the Quirk-testing facility, paying them a lot of money just to make the results appear that he is Quirkless so as to prevent everyone from finding out that Geese himself possess a strong Quirk.
At his corporate office at Naruhata, Geese paid his lawyer handsomely for helping him and the lawyer praised his client for fooling everyone, and now Izuku Midoriya will suffer the ULTIMATE humiliation as no one will believe him now and that with the amount of money Izuku and his mother are scrambling to produce, the family is sure to be morally broken.
"Well done. Thanks to you my problems are solved."
"But it was you who pulled the strings, Mr. Howard."
"Merely one of my many talents."
"Now that brat will live with the shame and humiliation because the fact that we won the case…"
"And it would be nice if that brat and his mother would end up living at the streets…"
"Yeah…I like to see that."
"And once that bitch is jailed, the brat will be begging on the streets…"
"Indeed…"
Geese and the lawyer laughed maniacally as they savor the victory they gained via illegal methods and there Geese told his lawyer to be on standby as his services might be needed in the future and promised that the lawyer would be FINANCIALLY REWARDED, much to the lawyer's appreciation.
"Really?"
"Yes."
"For real?"
"Of course."
"Oh thank you, Mr. Howard!"
"Just have your phone ready."
"I will!"
"Good."

Because of the secret injustice, Inko is at the risk of being sent to jail since Midoriya is too young to be incarcerated, and making matters worse, the rest of the Midoriya relatives began distancing themselves from Inko and Izuku, fearing shame and humiliation, as well as refusing to help her and Izuku financially.
Thankfully, a good Samaritan appeared and offered to shoulder the amount to pay off the defamation payment and urged Inko to tell her son not to give up, assuring that one day she and her son will gain the justice that eluded them.
"Really?"
"Yes."
"But…I can't just…"
"Its okay. You mustn't wound up in jail and let your child suffer for something he did not commit…"
"Oh thank you, kind sir!"
"It is fine, madam. Once that is settled, have your son move forward, and one day you will get the justice you rightfully deserve."
"I will!"
"Good."
In a few days Inko was able to settle the MORAL DAMAGES and paid the amount, yet deep down she hoped that one day she and her son's names would be cleared of any wrongdoing and one day she and Izuku visited the cemetery where Hisashi is buried, and the two promise that Geese himself will pay for the crimes he committed.

In the years that passed, Izuku had to endure the harsh realty where the Quirkless is being discriminated, and yet he persevered and by the time he is set to graduate middle school, which is Aldera Middle School, he met All Might and soon learned of his predicament.
Moreover, he is crushed emotionally when told that he can't be a hero because he is Quirkless, but after seeing Izuku attempting to save his childhood friend-turned bully Katsuki Bakugo from the Sludge Villain, All Might had a change of heart, and meeting him privately, the Number One Hero told Izuku that he can be a hero, much to the younger boy's surprise.
"Shonen…you proved me wrong, and I admit it."
"Huh?"
"You have what it takes."
"Huh? Have what…?"
"You can be a hero."
"Eh? For real?"
"Yes."
"…"

In a span of 10 months, Izuku underwent intense training which All Might personally supervised, and by the end of the 10th month the soon-to-be 15-year old boy's body gained enough mass that would allow him to receive a secret Quirk from All Might, and once the transfer was made, All Might told Izuku to head out to UA Academy as today was the entrance exams, which Izuku is set to head there immediately.
"Go now, Midoriya-shonen."
"Okay!"
"Pass the entrance exam of UA Academy!"
"Yeah!"
"Once you passed, your path to becoming a hero will commence!"
"Okay!"
"Good luck!"
"Thanks!"
By the end of the day, Izuku was able to use his newly-acquired Quirk yet failed to get the required points to pass the entrance exams, and Izuku was dejected as he felt that the past 10 months have been in vain, but a few days later, an electronic device-laden mail was delivered to him where a recorded message from All Might showed that Izuku passed the exams, and thus he is enrolled at UA Academy, one of several prestigious hero course high schools.
Inko herself couldn't believe it that her son passed the entrance exams of UA Academy and that he was a LATE BLOOMER where his Quirk manifested late, unaware that Izuku received a Quirk from someone.

At UA Academy, the principal, identified as Nezu, was reading the list of students that passed the entrance exams, and upon seeing Izuku's name, Nezu felt that he heard the name before, and out of curiosity he checked the Google site and typed Izuku's name, and a teacher, Nemuri Kayama, a pro hero identified as the Rated-R hero Midnight, saw it and realized that Izuku is the same boy who was scrutinized for the supposed libel for FALSELY RED-TAGGING Geese Howard for a crime that was supposedly went unproven.
Midnight asked Nezu what would happen if the media were to find out about the fact that a boy who became a laughingstock has become a student at UA Academy, but Nezu said that he has a feeling that what happened a decade ago is not what it appeared to be.
"Really, Nezu?"
"Yes, Kayama. I believe that Midoriya is not a liar. I recall watching the live trial and he did not show hints of commiting perjury."
"But why was Geese Howard cleared of the charges?"
"Perhaps there might be factors involved…but right now this Midoriya would be needing more than just lessons."
"Which is…?"
"Counselling."
"I see…"
"As of this moment…Midoriya is now a student of UA Academy..."
