Ch. 2: Jangurubōi no tōchaku
About 20 hours have passed, and the trip appeared to be peaceful, as the passengers are sleeping peacefully on their seats and the stewardesses are making rounds to see if the passengers are comfortable, and coincidentally the Midoriya parents woke up, and checked their watches, and realized that it is still nightfall even though it was already way past midnight.
Hisashi accidentally took a peek and saw something that would alarm him, as black smoke is seen billowing from the ceiling, and getting a whiff, he realized how serious this is and woke up Inko and whispered to her what is going on. She became alarmed at what she was told, especially when she smelled the burning scent which confirm what her husband is telling her.
"Oh no…"
"Come on, Inko..."
"But where…"
"Follow me…"
"Hisashi…"
"We got to get you and our son out of here…"
"But…"
"Come on…"
As Hisashi and Inko are heading towards the back area of the airplane, the smoke made its way through the passenger area, and slowly rouses the sleeping passengers, and panic began to ensue.
"Smoke!"
"And it smells like burning metal!"
"The plane is on fire!"
"We're gonna crash!"
"Fire!"
"EEEEKKK!"
"KKKKKKKYYYYAAAAHHH!"
"HHHHHEEEELLLLLPPPPP!"
The stewardesses were roused by the screams of the passengers and there they saw flames are appearing on the ceiling just as more smokes are billowing, and the stewardesses scrambled to get the fire extinguishers to try containing the flames, while instructing the other staff to calm the panicking passengers.
"Please remain calm!"
"Don't panic!"
"Don't push!"
"Everything will be fine!"
"Please remain calm!"
"Don't panic!"
"Don't push!"
"Everything will be fine!"
At the pilot room, the equipment blared and sounded the alarm, which the two pilots became concerned as they find out that 65% of the plane is on fire, and checking the map, they realize that they are still far from the airport, and reluctantly realized that they may have to perform emergency landing and needed to find a safe place to land as the they are above the open seas.
"Brace yourself. We're about to face a life-or-death situation…"
"Yeah. I understand."
"Lets hope we could find a landing spot nearby…"
"I hope so. We're still above the seas…"
"Indeed. We're still far from land. And we have to hope that this plane still holds out till we find an island big enough for this plane to land…"
"Got it."
"Be ready for anything."
"Affirmative, sir "
However, tension rose as the monitors beeped and the pilots finds out that one of the four main engine of the plane began to cease functioning, and this made the pilots realize that the plane may not last longer and are now became determined to look for a land to perform an emergency landing.
Over a minute later the second engine suddenly ceased to function and the pilots became more desperate as one of them suggested that they try to land on the seas, which the other pilot is unsure as they are at least 13,000 feet above the open seas, and there the plane started to lose altitude, where another minute passed as the third engine failed as well.
"Third engine down!"
"Damn…"
"I don't think this plane would…"
"Don't lose focus!"
"Sir…"
"Keep your head up. We got to remain calm."
"Yes sir."
"…"
At the passengers' area, panic and pandemonium escalated as the flames became visible as the ceiling went ablaze and people are screaming and trampling one another as fear and chaos reigned as they are now desperate to escape despite the fact that they are in the skies and seconds later the heat of the flames intensifies, and the staff members tried to extinguish the flames but the fire is somewhat intense.
The one of the passengers saw through the window that the right engine outside is also ablaze and the other passenger saw through the other window that left engine and wing is also on fire, and the passengers are wailing in desperation.
"The plane is on fire!"
"EEEEKKK!"
"KKKKKKKYYYYAAAAHHH!"
"HHHHHEEEELLLLLPPPPP!"
"We're going to die!"
"EEEEKKK!"
"KKKKKKKYYYYAAAAHHH!"
"HHHHHEEEELLLLLPPPPP!"
Suddenly, thick and intense flames began to appear and struck some of the passengers, burning them and set others ablaze, and the passengers were panicking further and became more desperate, as one of them went to the door of the plane and attempted to open it which prompted one of the staff members to try stopping him as what the passenger is about to do is dangerous.
"Out of my way!"
"No!"
"Don't!"
"Its dangerous!"
"Who cares? Rather than getting burned alive!"
"No!"
"Don't!"
"Its dangerous!"

At the compartment area, Hisashi locked the door as Inko is looking for a way to escape with her son but so far she only found a parachute for one person, and Inko is unsure how to address this but then Hisashi saw via the window of the compartment door that the flames are spreading all over and that majority of the passengers are being burned alive.
Hisashi told Inko to escape as he would try to hold him off the flames, which she asked how would she as there is only one parachute, and Hisashi reluctantly said that she would have to strap it onto Izuku and through him out and activate the parachute as saving their son is their priority at the moment.
"Inko…we have to…"
"But…but…"
"Our son must live…and to do that…"
"Why…why…"
"This is the only way…"
"…"
"For Izuku…"
"Oh…my son…"
Left with no choice, as the situation became dire, Inko did as told as Hisashi heard the compartment door banging and there he saw a few desperate passengers are trying to force their way in and you can hear them yelling at Hisashi to open it, and seeing that Inko is strapping the parachute onto the baby Izuku, the other passengers became more desperate to escape and are banging and kicking the compartment door to get in and vie for the sole parachute.
"Let me in!"
"Give me the parachute!"
"I want it!"
"No! It's mine!"
"Get away from me!"
"I don't want to die! I want the parachute!"
"Jerk off, you fat ass!"
"Open the damn door already!"
Suddenly, the plane began to tilt violently, as it is shown that a few factors have caused the plane to make a sudden descent:
The remaining one of four main engines gave out, thus the plane can no longer stay airborne and this would cause the plane to start falling
One of the panicking passengers forcefully opened the emergency exit door of the plane, which caused a hole on the side of the plane and caused a turbulence and the plane further loses more altitude.
Soon the resulting flames also reached the pilot room and the pilots were taken by surprise and the flames were unleashed in such fiery intensity, and the two pilots were being burned alive.
"AAAAAIIIIIIEEEEE!"
"GGGGGYYYYYAAAAHHHH!"
"AAAAAIIIIIIEEEEE!"
"GGGGGYYYYYAAAAHHHH!"
"AAAAAIIIIIIEEEEE!"
"GGGGGYYYYYAAAAHHHH!"
"AAAAAIIIIIIEEEEE!"
"GGGGGYYYYYAAAAHHHH!"
Meanwhile, the remaining passengers realized what is happening, further panicking them as they realize that the plane is falling further and Inko tearfully straps the parachute onto the infant Izuku, and tells him that she loves him before opening the compartment there she pulls the lever and the parachute is activated, pulling Izuku out of the plane and slowly descended and as the baby Izuku is slowly gliding downward, the plane was slowly being blown apart as the flames reached the plane's fuselage, and thus as the plane descends further it exploded while in mid-air whilst the baby Izuku is being glided further away.

After an undetermined amount of time passed, the baby Izuku safely landed at a land, which turn out to be a jungle, and he began crying, which attracted wild animals, notably wild dogs, and as the wild dogs are approaching the infant and are salivating with anticipation that a free meal came, baby Izuku cried louder just as one of the wild dogs is about to land a fatal bite.
There baby Izuku unknowingly executed a DETROIT SMASH and struck the wild dog, sending it backwards and the rest of the packs were terrified at what they saw, prompting them to retreat, leaving the baby alone.
Then some apes showed up, and glanced at the crying Izuku, and for some reason, they were able to speak HUMAN LANGUAGE, and the apes are now debating on what to do with the crying Izuku, since he is human and not an ape like themselves.
"What shall we do with this?"
"Yeah, what?"
"He's too noisy…"
"Of course…he's a baby, you idiot!"
"Who are you calling an idiot?"
"You are."
"Me…?"
"Who else?"
Then an elephant came, and like the apes, it is shown that it is also capable of speaking like humans, and suggested that they take Izuku in as it is obvious that Izuku was abandoned for a reason, which the other apes are unsure as they never raised a human before.
"What do you think?"
"Er…"
"Um…"
"Ah…"
"I don't know…"
"True or false…?"
"Truth or consequence…?"
"Truth or dare…?"
One of the apes opposes to the idea as baby Izuku is not an ape, and suggested that he be thrown to the seas or let the wild dogs consume him, which a female ape is against it, calling the male ape BARBARIC, who has a similar mindset of some selfish human, which the male ape resented the criticism.
"What was that?"
"You heard me!"
"How dare you?"
"Well how dare you?"
"That THING is not an ape!"
"He is still an infant!"
"He is not one of us!"
"That's beside the point!"
The elephant agreed with the female ape and said that if RAISED PROPERLY, Izuku could become one of the apes, and some of the other apes present seemed to like the idea, and voted that Izuku be adopted into the ANIMAL KINGDOM.
"I vote!"

Hope you liked this chapter, and not much is shown, it served as an opener on how Izuku would eventually become the JUNGLE BOY of this fic…
And though not fully shown, Izuku somehow gained a Quirk and unknowingly fend off the wild dogs…
And though one particular animal is against letting Izuku live here, he is outvoted and now Izuku is a member of the animal kingdom…
