Okay...I got a new review, and this is more than enough for me to continue this fic and now we are about to continue the current arc, where a new ally would be introduced, while at the same time the main theme would be about dogs, and this will be our hero's next woes as the Majorians make another attempt to capture Fuyuki…

Ch. 18: Junbi

Several minutes ago...

After that, Fuyuki decided to board his bicycle and head out, but then bad luck struck at the worst possible time, as three minutes later stray dogs saw Fuyuki pedaling the streets and began to case after him, almost biting his pants and others tried to jump on him, and the hapless teen pedaled faster seeing that this is just not his day, blaming his "bad luck" for something like this to happen on an ordinary day, and hoped that the local officials would do something about incidents like this.

"WAN-WAN!"

"BOW-WOW-WOW!"

"ARF-ARF-ARF!"

"ROAR!"

"GGGRRRR!"

"RRRRAAAGGGHH!"

"HAH-HAH-HAH!"

"GGRRRAAOOORRR!"

"WOOF-WOOF-WOOF!"

As Fuyuki pedaled faster, the dogs chased after their target more and in his haste he nearly sideswiped some irate pedestrians and they too began to chase after the hapless teen, threatening to beat him up once they catch him despite Fuyuki apologizing non-stop.

"YOU BRAT!"

"YOU PEDALED MY FOOT!"

"YOU MOTHERFUCKER!"

"I'LL KILL YOU!"

"COME BACK HERE!"

"BAKA!"

"ASSHOLE!"

"YOU MORON!"

"I'M GONNA WRECK YOUR BULLSHIT BIKE!"

Several minutes later...

As Fuyuki arrived at his destination, his face had bruises and a BLACK EYE. Though he managed to outrun the dogs pursuing him, the people he ran in to did not, and they caught up with him, and they not only berate him, they also beat him up, and this was just another day of BAD LUCK for the teen, and he wondered if this is a premonition for what's about to come, and hoped that there wouldn't be any alien attackers that plagued him in the recent days.

"I hope the rest of the day wouldn't get any worse than what earlier..."

By then he went to an establishment where he is to take a part-time job, and to his dismay, it was a pet shop that "specializes" in pet dogs, and the owner tasks Fuyuki to give dogs a "bath", which he reluctantly accepted though he asks if he could do other jobs that doesn't "physically require" contact with dogs, which the owner said there aren't, and stated that Fuyuki is the only one who could do the job.

"...and that'll be your job today..."

"EEEHH? Do I have to?"

"Yes, you have to..."

"Surely there are other things I can do besides touching the dogs..."

"Sorry...that's the job i can assign to you today..."

"..."

"At least I will pay you..."

"Okay..."

Sighing in defeat, Fuyuki began giving some dogs a bath using a hose and soap, but then some of the dogs (mostly pets in popular breeds) began to develop some affections to Fuyuki and began lounging at him, in which they reel of "dog stink" and the hapless teen is soon covered in dog scent and tried to keep them line which had little success yet the owner is impressed that Fuyuki managed to keep the pet dogs in line and promised to give the teen a "good pay" at the end of the week.

Outside, Canis Minor was watching and saw Fuyuki doing work, which he started to get ideas especially seeing him being "mauled" by dogs, and by then Momoka arrived and is excited to see Fuyuki, and in her haste she dropped a pamphlet which Canis Minor picked it up and smirked at seeing that the contents showed, which is about a carnival fair with a dog show, and he immediately followed Momoka and stayed hidden as he listened to the conversation between the two teens.

"Eh? A carnival fair with a dog show?"

"Yup-yup! And I even got us tickets!"

"Can't I take a pass...?"

"Come on...it'll be fun!"

"But..."

"It'll be my treat..."

"But..."

"Please...?"

Fuyuki wasn't quite pleased about Momoka's invitation to go to a carnival fair after seeing the "dog show" part, and though he tried to turn down the invitation, he couldn't directly do so after she playfully insisted that he go with her, and seeing that she wouldn't take "no" for an answer, Fuyuki couldn't turn her down completely and he reluctantly accepted the invitation and Momoka was beaming with joy, as she gets to go on another date with Fuyuki, and she began dancing around which caused the dogs to get agitated and instead of going after Momoka, they all lounged at Fuyuki.

"WAN-WAN!"

"BOW-WOW-WOW!"

"ARF-ARF-ARF!"

"ROAR!"

"GGGRRRR!"

"RRRRAAAGGGHH!"

"HAH-HAH-HAH!"

"GGRRRAAOOORRR!"

"WOOF-WOOF-WOOF!"

"WHOA! STOP THAT, YOU CRAZY POOCHES!"

Canis Minor overheard the conversation and he is filled with wicked ideas on how to take advantage of the situation in an effort to capture Fuyuki, so he leaves the scene at once before he is noticed, and taking the flyers with him, he now heads back to the mother ship to convey with Canis Major in making plans to capture the teen and use him as a hostage for their intentions to force Planet Kero into submission.

At the mother ship, Canis Major listens to what Canis Minor is stating, and appeared to be pleased as he is told of his plans and allowed him to execute his intentions and told Canis Minor to take some soldiers with him as he anticipates that Fuyuki might use his "secret Pekopon weapon" which led to the defeat of Can-Zer, Dora and Hydrant, and as Canis Minor is making preparations, Leo Major taunted him that he is doomed to fail, and this caused a major spat between him and Canis Major.

"Don't keep your hopes, up...that Pekopon brat will kick you real good..."

"..."

"Leo Minor and me will win in the end..."

"Too bad you lost too many times...and you'll be doing janitorial duties when we finished the job..."

"WHAT DID YOU SAY?!"

"Janitor..."

"WANT ME TO VAPORIZE YOU?!"

"..."

Fortunately, Leo Minor came and intervened and managed to calm his fellow Majorians down and though he is not pleased with Canis Major and Canis Minor calling the shots now, he couldn't afford to let the "King" and "Queen" come here and see their best commanders quarreling among themselves, and Canis Minor decided to help quell the tension and soon cooler heads prevailed and Canis Minor then leaves the mother ship as he and his soldiers prepare to execute their plans in capturing Fuyuki.

The scene later shifts to the Den-Liner, where Fuyuki arrived and asks for some spare clothes as his current clothes reek of "dog stink" and thankfully Naomi revealed that there is a shower room within the time-traveling train and a washing machine, so Fuyuki took the chance and took a shower while Momotaromon and Urataromon took turns in putting Fuyuki's clothes inside the washing machine and yet they bickered childishly over who would get to operate on the washing machine.

"I WANT TO USE THE WASHING MACHINE!"

"NO, ME!"

"I WAS HERE FIRST!"

"YOU'RE HOT-HEADED, SO YOU GO SECOND...I GET TO USE IT..."

"IN YOUR DREAMS, YOU ROMANTIC RASCAL!"

"WANT ME TO REEL YOU IN?"

"HOW ABOUT SOME BEATING?"

"I'LL FLUSH YOU IN...!"

However, Hana pulled the two Imagimons' ears and pulled them away and puts them on their seats while telling them to behave, and Naomi took charge in operating on the washing machine while serving coffee which Momotaromon and Urataromon were looking forward to and peace appeared to be restored inside the train, until Fuyuki came out and is wearing some spare clothes, and there Hana saw the flyers and asks if he is going to the "carnival fair", in which the teen reluctantly nodded.

"So you're going to a carnival fair?"

"Yeah..."

"Sounds like fun..."

"Not for me..."

"Why not?"

"Dog show..."

"It's not that bad..."

"I better get my clothes..."

By then the washing machine stopped and Fuyuki's clothes are washed, but then Momotaromon and Urataromon began struggling over a cup of coffee and in their physical argument the cup of coffee flew to the air and drenched Fuyuki and the washing machine, dirtying the clothes and Fuyuki moaned in despair as Hana began reprimanding the two Imagimons for their immature behaviors, seeing that their actions upsets Fuyuki.

In the midst of the chaos, the Owner is seen eating his food on a dish with a flag still standing, not minding the situation the passengers are in.

Hope you liked this chapter as Canis Minor is gering up to cook some schemes after watching Fuyuki and Momoka planning to attend a carnival fair, in which it also hosts a "dog show". This would surely fit the bill with Canis Minor being a dog-like alien himself with a dog motif.

Fuyuki had some bad luck, but his luck might get worst once the next chapter comes in.

The next chapter comes in as a Canis Minor and some of the Majorian soldiers made their appearance and attempts to catch Fuyuki, in a midst of a campaign to catch stray dogs to keep them off the streets...

At the same time a new Imagimon is introduced and possibly becoming Fuyuki's new ally...
