Okay...I got a new review, and this is more than enough for me to continue this fic and now we are about to enter the next arc, where Leo Major and Leo Minor are going to put their careers, and their lives, on the line in an effort to impress their superiors as the two Majorians make a FINAL attempt to capture Fuyuki…

Ch. 22: Saigo Tsūkoku

A day before...

At a nearby forest, Fuyuki is tied up in chains as the huge character, revealed to be an anthropomorphic bulldog finished tying him up and there Canis Minor showed up, pleased that his plans went well without a hitch, and the Majorian soldiers are ready to transport him inside their ship and Fuyuki demanded that they release him at once and made it known that he has no intention of becoming a hostage to the Majorians but the Majorian soldiers began kicking him on his gut while Canis Minor taunted the teen.

"Ooooff!"

"You'll be our slave!"

"Aaarrgghh!"

"You will help us force those Keronians into submission!"

"Unnffhh!"

"With you as our hostage, our victory will be guaranteed!"

"Ow!"

"And there's nothing you can do about it!"

Canis Minor laughed at seeing Fuyuki struggle and is told Fuyuki how weak he is and that a weakling has no chance of escaping the Majorians and told the soldiers to beat him up even more, but then something happened as Fuyuki went still and his eyes glowed, and his hair grew in to a ponytail and he stood up, and Canis Minor blinked his eyes as Fuyuki began to struggle and broke free from the chains and the Majorian soldiers began ganging up on him, only for them to be thrown around and one by one they are punched and smacked around as Fuyuki began fighting like a bear and a sumo wrestler, sending them towards the ship and there it is shown that Fuyuki is possessed, by Kintaromon, and began to give Canis Minor a words of warning.

"You bully!"

"What the…?"

"How dare you bully the weak!"

"Eh?"

"Now I will teach you a lesson!"

"How did you…?"

"Now…my strength will make you cry!"

"You dare…?"

Canis Minor couldn't believe what he is seeing and ordered his enforcer, "The Bully", to subdue Fuyuki, but then the possessed Fuyuki fought back, and though the two are even in terms of strength, the "Bully" gained an advantage and there Kintaromon decided to face things head-on as he puts on the Den-Belt and "scans" it with the train pass, initiating his transformation into Den-O, and in doing so, his black armor materializes while a gold-colored outer armor appeared and systematically "snaps together", while gaining a huge ax, and Den-O gains the "Ax Form", which surprises Canis Minor.

Den-Belt: "AX FORM…!"

"Eh? Is this…"

"Now I will show you my strength!"

"You think you can fool me?"

"You are the fool, weakling!"

"Why you…!"

"Here I come!"

"Guards! Get him!"

"Yes, boss!"

Canis Minor ordered his soldiers to attack, and Den-O Ax-form went ahead, punching and slashing away, sending the soldiers flying towards the ship and the Majorian major is in a state of disbelief at what he is seeing, as he did not expect something like this to happen and is starting to lose his composure and ordered the "Bully" to take down Den-O, in which the rather tall and muscular Majorian mercenary went ahead and began to engage his target in combat, managing to land a few critical blows before Den-O was able to fight back.

With Ax-Form giving Den-O brute strength, the hero is able to gain the advantage and landed successive blows which sent the tall Majorian back to the ship, before grabbing Canis Major and punched him towards the ship, and there Den-O "punched" the ship, sending it upwards and peace is restored.

A day after...

The scene shifts to the mother ship where Canis Minor is recuperating from his injuries and Canis Major is rather concerned that his partner met defeat and couldn't comprehend that a mere "Pekopon" did this to him and is intrigued at how Fuyuki managed to gain such a weapon to combat the Majorians, and is contemplating on investigating the matter and if possible, face Fuyuki to see for himself how the teen was able to take down the Majorian mercenaries. By then Canis Minor woke up and there the two talked about what happened.

"Major..."

"You okay, Minor?"

"Yeah...though I'm a bit...humiliated...being beaten by a mere Pekopon..."

"Don't let that get to you..."

"But still...I didn't expect that Fuyuki Hinata would wield such a weapon..."

"What? Seriously?"

"Yes..."

"..."

Canis Major couldn't believed what he just heard and told his partner to take a rest as he intend to confront Fuyuki personally and capture him, in which Canis Minor cautions him not to take the "Pekopon" lightly as he believed that the "weapons" that Fuyuki possessed may be that of "alien origin" and said that it might work against the Majorians, though Canis Major assured that he won't be taken down so easily and vowed to "bring glory" to the Majorians and that Planet Kero would surrender to them.

By then Leo Major and Leo Minor came and began taunting their fellow commanders, taking several verbal shots on how Canis Minor met a "humiliating defeat" at the hands of a "mere Pekopon" which Canis Major did not take it very lightly.

"So...Canis Minor..."

"How are you doing?"

"Feeling good lying on bed doing nothing...?"

"How does it feel getting beaten up by a mere "Pekopon"...?"

"Must've been good for you..."

"A good humiliation..."

"Ha-ha-ha..."

"Heh-heh-heh..."

Canis Major stood up and is shouting harsh words at the two, and though Canis Minor tries to calm his partner, the tension rise and things would have caused trouble had a Majorian soldier not came and called their attention, and upon seeing the soldier, the soldier told the three that the "King" and "Queen" are at the ship's monitor, summoning them and both the Leo commanders and Canis Major stopped their bickering and leaves the room to answer their leaders' summon, sensing that something is up and it would be disrespectful to keep them waiting.

A few minutes later, Canis Major, Leo Major and Leo Minor are standing in front of the monitor screen where the "King" and "Queen" are shown, and though their faces aren't shown, they are shown to be the leaders of the Majorians, and there the two spoke to the three and told them that they are having difficulty in trying to breach Planet Kero's defenses and are getting rather impatient at the fact that their best commanders are failing to capture one "simple Pekopon" to use as their hostage to force the Keronioans to surrender.

"We are starting to lose patience..."

"It's been several weeks since we appointed you..."

"You are supposed to capture a Pekopon so we can use as leverage against the Keronians..."

"What has kept you?"

"We even heard that your best mercenaries are sent to the infirmary..."

"What excuse do you have?"

"How can you explain this?"

"Well...?"

Canis Major looked down in shame as he realized that his partner failed in his first mission and there Leo Major and Leo Minor began teasing him for his "failure" in which Canis Major was starting to lose his composure even though Canis Minor bungled in his first mission but then the "King" and "Queen" spoke to Leo Major and Leo Minor in a rather threatening tone as they reminded them of THEIR past failures which puts the two commanders in their places and they stopped their teasing having realized that they too have failed in their mission and now the "king" is considering in handing out a punishment to Leo Major and Leo Minor, in which the two commanders began begging for mercy.

"Wait!"

"Don't!"

"We will do our best!"

"We will capture Fuyuki Hinata!"

"We promise!"

"So spare us!"

"Give us another chance!"

"We assure you that we will succeed!"

The "queen" took pity on the two and told them that she will consider giving them one LAST chance to capture Fuyuki and bring him to her, and if they are successful, she will let Leo major and Leo Minor stay as the commanders, but if they fail again, they will be executed, and the two commanders swallowed hard as they realized that the pressure is on them and they will have to exert efforts in capturing the teen knowing that their lives are on the line and this is their last chance to redeem themselves to their leaders' eyes and both left to formulate a strategy to capture the teen.

As Leo Major and Leo Minor left, Canis Major questions the "Queen" if she is serious in letting Leo Major and Leo Minor off this time, and the "Queen" said that if Leo Major and Leo Minor failed again, she will appoint Canis Major and Canis Minor as the new commanders and will put the two in charge of capturing Fuyuki using whatever means necessary, and this encouraged Canis Major to accept the position should Leo Major and Leo Minor failed. The "Queen" then told him to be ready if ever things failed and Canis Major nodded as he leaves the meeting room and went to the ward where Canis Minor is recuperating and there he told him of what went on.

"...and that's what happened..."

"Really...?"

"Yeah..."

"I hope those two would fail..."

"Yeah...it'll be an opportunity for us to shine..."

"Then we better be ready...in case those two fail..."

"I do want them to fail..."

"Me too..."

After that, Canis Major and Canis Minor nodded and are hoping their their fellow commanders would fail one last time so that they would usurp their positions and capture Fuyuki using their own methods to win more rewards from their leaders. They seemed to be confident that Leo Major and Leo Minor will eventually fail, and they hoped that they will as they hated them for their arrogance and that led them to their current situation.

Meanwhile, Leo Major and Leo Minor are having their own meeting and both are concerned that they are about to face execution if they fail one more time, and they became determined to capture Fuyuki and that they are willing to do whatever they could use to their advantage just to survive their impending execution and win back their leaders' favor, and decided to do a thorough research on Fuyuki's "social life" and use it to their advantage.

"We got to do something!"

"Yeah..."

"We can't fail this time!"

"I agree...I don't want to face an execution..."

"We better do our best!"

"Right!"

"Be ready!"

"I will1"

The scene later shifts to the high school building where Fuyuki is currently attending classes, and while glancing at the window, he saw some sakura petals are starting to fall off, and he slowly gets a vague premonition that something BIG is about to happen, and wondered if he is about to face a very big crisis coming his way. his musing was interrupted when Natsumi came and delivered his lunch and there Fuyuki took her to the rooftop and asks her what would they do if another alien invasion were to take place and that with Keroro and his platoon not here anymore, will he be able to fight back.

"You worry too much!"

"But..."

"It's better this way..."

"Really?"

"Those frogs have their own lives to look after...and it brought peace to our home..."

"..."

"And besides...you need to face what's coming to you...I'm sure you get to see them again..."

"..."

Natsumi assured to her younger brother that it won't happen since it's been two years since Keroro and his platoon left, and that no alien invasion would come since Kururu has not done anything "scientifically perverted", and Fuyuki sighed as she has no idea that an alien invasion has already happened as the Majorians are harassing him, but managed to repulse them because of the Den-Liner crew helping him as of late.
