They Were Never To Be Held Down by Yves
I don't know what hurts more. The thought that I hated three of the most wonderful men I would ever know, or that I never really took the chance to know and befriend the three men that would not only give their life to save perhaps millions of innocent people, but to also save my life. On many occasion I couldn't stand a one of them, but I would give any thing for the chance to thank them. To let them know what their sacrifice meant to me. True to the end, they fought for the rights of everyone, not for their own fame or profit. What they did was what they believed in. I don't know that I would want to take their places, but I would want to prevent their deaths. Byers, Frohike and Langly were never shadow-dwellers. Never cynics, but eternal non-conformists. Their deaths were begged of to protect the very thing they refused to loose a battle for. The Lone Gunmen were good men who deserved nothing of the like. Their idealism and enthusiasm is sorely missed.
