He knew that his best friend and bro cared about Shockey, like with Groot, hearing Lylla was mving in with him, wanting to be a part of Shocket's life makimg Howard sigh, seeing his friend was coming over to keep an eye on Linda and Shocket while he was on missions talking and lsighing, unaware that people were takimg photos of them.

It was early evening, but after wakimg up, Shocket was pretty hungry, so she had left the apartment heading to the dumpsters searching for food or leftovers, that humans left much to Lindas's worry, in case somebody saw her, or mistook her for an Earth raccoon hearing Shocket snort in reply, hearing Rocket's motircycle, seeing Linda was outside, wondering where Shocket was makimg her anxious, pointing to the dumpster. hearing Shocket eating, stunning Rocket.
"Shocket Raboon, out now, do you know how dangerous that is?" he said seeing Shocket climb out, wondering why her dad was freakedout, guessing Howard askedhim to come over, walking back into the apartment building goijg back to Howards's apartment, seeing that Shocket needed cleaned up, goimg to the bathroom putting her in the shower, tellimg her he understoodthat her instincts had acgi aged, she just could not jump into dumpsters to find snacks.
"I get it dad, but I get hungry, plus I'm getting cute, you know?" Shocket said.
"Yes you are which is normal for kits of our specked." Rocket said.
After drying her off, he was makimg her and Limda sundaes using the ice-cream that was in thefridge, makimg them happy, after seeing Shocket in the dumpster had freaked him out, seeing him happy, hearing them belching, seeing Shocket's belly growing a little more, along with Linda knowing Howard loved it, knowing they loved happy meals, just like normal kids.
They were goofing around, plus playing with Nerf blasters, which Shocket loved, surprising Linda impressed hearing her best friend and soulmate gigglimg tacklimg her dad, makimg her giggle, as it was sweet, knowing this would never happen at the Collector's lair trying not to bring it up, since Shocket was happy, joining in hearing Rocket chuckle, being careful because they were kids seeing Shocket hug him letting him sit up.
"Awww thanks kiddo, we're getting alomg." he said kissing her.
"Yeah, we are daddy, plus Lylla seems nice." she told him.
After a while, he heard her yawning alomg with Linda, tuckimg her into bed, kissing their heads, seeing them out like lights, putting on the nightlight, knowing how they didn't like the dark, making himself coffee, so himself, plus he would give Shocket his Nova helmet when she was older, it would be her birthright, like her name.
That morning when Howard came back, he found Rocket asleep on the couch, guessing that he, Linda and Shocket had a lot of fun seeing him awake tellimg him they had a lot of fun, seeing Shocket hug Rocket, astounded by this, he had a feelimg they had bondedmakimg Shocket nod.
