"What's he doing to Shockie, why give her Nerf blasters, daddy?" Linda asked seeing Tivon giving Shocket blasters and making Linda clean up messes which annoyed Howard but was plannijg something to give both girls a better life.
"He's programming her, to do bad things, only maybe you can help her, you guys are bonded together." Howard said to her making Linda's eyes widen.
"Don't worry, I'll protect her." Linda replied softly.
"Linda come play, I got a great idea!" Shocket said scampering over.
"Okay but just be you." she said kissing her making her blush and giggle, makimg Tivon scowl seeing Shocket happy because Howards's child could ruin his plans to make Shocket how he wanted, getting an idea putting an apple on Linda's feathery head making Howard mad but Shocket confused.
"No, I don't want to hurt Ducky, I love her!" Shocket said running out of the room.
Linda was going after her while Howard was yelling at Tivon hearing crying and sniffling guessing it was Shocket seeing her curled up up in a furry ball making Linda understand sitting beside her, strokijg her mohawk gently letting her cry.
"You're not bad, you're my girl plus you stopped it from happening and right now, my daddy is yelling at Tivon, want a hug?" Linda assured her seeing Shocket nod feeling better after Linda hugged her going to their room lying on their bed.
Linda woke up with a jolt, after that memory remembering looking over at Shocket sleeping in bed beside her smiling relieving the female duckling kissing Shocket's cheek seeing her begin to stir, wondering if she was alright understanding after Linda explained feeling her hug her knowing being under that mode was scary but she was okay now.
"Ducky that side of me's gone, she!s never coming back, my dad sometimes asks from time to time about this, I promise just relax." she said hugging her as Howard walked in because he had heard what they'd been talking about.
"Ssh you need your rest as you have school, plus Shockie is better after that procedure in Wakanda." he assured Linda.
Later that morning, Shocket began to stir wondering where Linda was getting up and feeling groggy seeing Howard there saying Linda had let her sleep after being up last night noticing her bedfur which made her look cute.
"I get Linda's worried that side could come back, I worry too." she admitted.
"That's okay to worry plus the doctor told us what the signs of a relapse is, so we know what to do." Howard told her seeing her drink coffee to wake herself up mentally hoping her dad was okay, not worrying about her breathing deeply like when stressed getting ready for the day leaving the apartment, going to Avengers Campus relieving Rocket, because Linda had told him what was on her mind.
"Just go to study hall, relax okay?" he told her seeing her nod.
