[Post - "Zoo Story" tag.] Sharon already had a lot on her plate, and then she had to find out about 'the other Sharon's latest misdeeds. A couple of missing scenes, leading up to the confrontation with Sharon Beck at the end.

The suffocating security, the letters and the testimony are behind them, but new challenges arose in the aftermath. With a convoluted case at work, and troubled waters at home, Sharon is finding it hard to strike a balance for her and Rusty. And misconceptions and miscommunication always bring trouble.

[Set during Jack's S2 appearance.] The key to Jack staying in Sharon's good graces was making Rusty like him.

As you'll recall, episode 1.07, The Shame Game, ends with Rusty staring at Daniel Dunn through the glass of the break room window before he runs away back to the Murder Room slamming the door behind him. This takes place immediately after the door slams. Mothership feels all around. Updated with a few grammatical and spelling changes.

Lottie and Rusty Beck has the worst luck in the world. That wasn't an exaggeration but the cold hard truth, forced to grow up and be the adults in an unstable home life with their mother until she abandoned them. Forced to live on the street, doing whatever it took to survive until Rusty became a witness in a murder case. Then things really started to change, maybe for the better..
