One week later...

The Pokémon League was rehosted, ending in a draw between Bronze and Titus. Bronze was offered the title of Champion, but he declined, and the position was given to Unger.

The rift to the Distortion World gradually closed, and the machines responsible for the rift were destroyed.

The surviving members of Team Eclipse were subsequently arrested, and the organization was declared defunct.

Lusamine was placed under the care of her children and the Aether Foundation.

Ghetsis went into the north to rebuild Team Plasma, and was never seen again.

Heatran, Kyurem, and Shaymin went back to their respective dwellings.

The Swords of Justice disbanded with the former leaders of Team Galactic, Flare, and the Kanto Elite Four.

Giovanni left for a journey of self-fulfillment after disbanding Team Rocket.

Tess consulted the International Police to aid her in the search for Jake.

Ruby, Sapphire, and Emerald told Oak about the things they had seen on their journey.

A celebratory gathering is ongoing, remembering the defeat of the Enemy.

Human nature is still unchanged, and imperfection is once more the norm.

No balance.

No balance yet.

"Are you serious?" Diamond yelled at a director. "You can't possibly stop producing Proteam Omega!"

Bronze was telling his parents about his adventures, as Gladion and Lusamine looked on.

A musical was being shown, one that White had personally directed.

The professors Oak and Birch were intently listening to Ruby, Sapphire, and Emerald about what they had seen.

"When we found Rayquaza, it made us go all around the earth. Including...the Gamma Continent!" Birch wrung his hands. "It exists? I can't believe it...how did we not detect it, with all our advanced technology?!"

Emerald explained. "I think the Gamma Continent is trying to be hidden, literally. For a few weeks, Rayquaza dropped us off there, and we saw quite a lot of things...there is a civilization on the Gamma Continent, although much less advanced than us. They have Poke Balls made out of Apricorns, Pokémon we've never seen or heard of before, and a special kind of phenomenon called Dynamaxing. The people there called the realm...Galar!"

"Interesting..." Oak said. "We will have to visit this strange place at some point. But not now. This is a time for celebration!"

Crystal was discussing recent events with the Chairman, who seemed rather anxious to know that fate of the armor Eternity.

"I understand your misgivings about giving that artifact to the association, but we have need of it! It's properties could be a key to-"

The Chairman was interrupted by Gold wacking him with his pool cue. "Sorry, but you can't really get to that armor. We melted it down and threw the remains into the void."

"WHAT?!" The Chairman yelped. "Why?! That was a priceless piece of history! I must demand a reason for your actions." Crystal sighed. "Mr. Chairman, Cypress was the third person to die over that armor, and there could have been many more in history. Frankly, it's better if that suit is gone."

"Precisely!" A large man yelled from behind the Chairman. "That armour caused nothing but trouble at the Battle Frontier. I, for one, am glad that it's gone."

"Mr. Scott!" The Chairman said. "I am pleased that you could make it to this little festival. But...you wouldn't appear unless you had some other motive then just celebration!"

Scott winked. "How perceptive. I was thinking, and came to this conclusion..it has been quite a while since the last tournament between the Pokedex Holders, and now there are far more than there were after the battle with Guile. Perhaps we could rehost the tournament, and see who is the strongest Pokedex Holder now!"

Gold laughed. "I'm in, unless you're just trying to do another promotional stunt. What could go wrong?"

Tess was talking with Looker and Anabel in a secluded corner.

Anabel shook her head. "Tess, from what you told us, I think the chances of you finding Jake are rather small. Since he did not emerge from the portal like Cypress did, we can assume that he isn't necessarily in a dystopian new world, but he definitely isn't in this dimension. I come from Ultra Space, a similar area of space, although I think Jake's separation runs much deeper than simple separation. He might be on another plane of reality."

"Wait, so your telling me there isn't anything we can do?" Tess despaired. Anabel was about to reply, but a loud crack! cut her off.

Standing behind Tess was a shimmering portal that led to a gigantic library, with shelves unnaturally high, covered in untold amounts of books. A spider-like creatures sorted some documents of one shelve, while a tall being with no mouth and red eyes patrolled the halls, a lantern where its arm should be.

"HALLLLOOOOO!" The shout made everyone jump back as three figures popped into view in the portal frame. One was a Johtoian woman in flowing dark crimson robes, another a man in combat fatigues, and the last a blue Cyclopes-like creature, holding a stack of books with names like; 'Dragon Spaying: Does and Don'ts,' and 'My Life Among The Qu."

The woman vigorously shook Anabel and Tess's hands, introducing herself and her comrades.

"I am Little Sister 19242B4#, but you can call me L.S. This man to my right is Agent Hopper, formerly a member of the Secure Containment Procedures Foundation, although now he serves the Library. This fine entity is ~~ of Ya'argo'uthar, a renown druid. We are happy to be at your service!"

Tess blinked. "Okay...WHO ARE YOU?! WHY DID YOU APPEAR OUT OF NOWHERE?! WHY IS THERE A GIANT LIBRARY?! ANSWER ME!"

L.S backed up. "First, we did not appear out of Nowhere, that is a very dangerous place. Second, we are here to help those in need, gather records of the worlds of the Great Tree Yggdrasil, and fight the forces of darkness, like the incarnation that you and your comrades have recently defeated in this reality. As follows, you need a guide to help you find your lost friend, who has likely landed in Tetra-Prota-3234JE."

Anabel raise her hands. "So, you are inviting us to come with you to find Jake? Because I may have heard everything wrong." L.S and Hopper nodded. "Correct. You, a Fallar, will be most interested in the type of travel I am referring to. You may trust us with our entire soul."

Hopper started to shake. "Hey, L.S, I think I'm going to shift-" Hopper disappeared with a smell of fruit.

Seeing Tess and the others shock, L.S reassured them. "Oh, don't worry about him. That happens sometimes. Anyway, are you in? In case you still don't believe me, we'll tell you our True Names so that we'll have to live up to our end of the deal."

Tess grabbed L.S's hand. "I'm in. Seriously, I don't know who you people are, or what this library is, but I want to find out, and save Jake." Tess eyes Looker and Anabel. "Are you guys with me?"

Looker and Anabel reluctantly walked beside Tess. "I suppose we can go, I hope this isn't some bizarre prank." L.S grinned. "Oh, Officer Looker, I assure you that this is not a prank or some strange hallucination. We will have to get you three a Library Card, if you want to be true Wanderers. Onward!"

The portal closed, taking everyone into the Library, vanishing with a pop of compressed air.

The festival continued well into the night. There were still unsolved problems, quarrels, issues, and things that would be tackled another day. But that was all put behind for now.

In Deep Heaven, far out of the perception of all the Children of Arceus...

Arceus clutched the beautiful Pleiades in His left hand, and looked unto Orion's Belt. The Great Dance went about its movements, and the Original One saw all. At the second great defeat of the Enemy, all the spirits in Deep Heaven were rejoicing.

"The Plan continues, my lord." Dialga said out of the Time beyond Time, his voice like the chiming of a trillion stars, and his brother, Palkia, the Prince of Space, attended the vastness of the Universe.

Celebi went by the earth from eons unknown, a shooting star in the heavens. "Happy day, oh, happy day," She cried, her trail as a silver rain of stardust in the expanses of Space.

From all creations, one creation. Out of Knowledge, Emotion, and Willpower, spirit. From the Great Dance, the Plan. From the Plan, many Plans across endless universes. Of one Enemy in one Creation, many Enemies. But out of countless victories against the Enemy, one great victory at the End of time. The Plan would be finished, and the Original One would have won forever.

"Yes." Arceus said, His voice a abyssal chord, deeper than the Abyss, higher than the Firmament. "The events that hath occureth here are but a small part of My own designs. Nothing may happen without its utmost source within Myself. As I hath stretched Time so long and Space so deep, no thing that is Evil will be overlooked in the End. Let no mouth open to gainsay Me."

"It is true, true. Blessed be He!" Azelf, Uxie, and Mesprit said form the Heavenly Spheres, as they looked upon the Library that Tess now walked in, along with fighters from other Creations. The Library was the fruit of the Tree of Knowledge, which Uxie planted, Azelf filled with Wills, and Mesprit watered with Emotion. Even though it would be burned in the Last Battle at the End of Time, it would be rebuilt far greater, and the wonder of it would increase in aggression with no end.

And that part of the Grand Plan was finished. The Original One had won again.

The forces of evil slept.

They would rise again, as they always did.

But not yet.

Not yet.
