In the grand finale of Classic Sodor Adventures, the engines of the North Western Railway have been invited to go to London to meet with many people who want to see the famous engines of Sodor for themselves. Everyone is excited about going to London, but none more so than Thomas, which leads to a bit of trouble for him just before the big day...

Gordon is dismayed to learn that steam has ended on the mainland, and so Sir Topham Hatt arranges for his sole surviving brother to come to Sodor to cheer him up.
