AU- A blizzard keeps the outgoing flights from leaving the JFK Airport. Chloe, worried that she won't make it to her brother's wedding on time, meets Beca, who has no real desire to go home.

It had come as a great surprise to everyone, Beca included when Aubrey originally asked the younger girl out on a date. One year later though, and they're still going strong; or so Beca thought. Aubrey breaks up with Beca just before their anniversary, leaving both of them heartbroken, alone and searching for answers.

"I'm glad we stopped pretending we weren't in love. I'm glad we got to spend these last sixty years together. Sometimes I get so mad thinking of how unfair it is that you're going to go before me because a lifetime is meant to be a lifetime and this just doesn't seem like one to me."

Everyone grows up eventually. Aubrey was just forced to do it faster than most and just desperately wishes she hadn't.

Beca had been helping her so much recently and all Chloe wanted to do was help her with the dishes.
