After her father's funeral, Joan is awash in emotions she can't quite handle and in need of someone to comfort her. Despite his hesitation and unfamiliarity with being comforting, Sherlock finds himself drawn to her, and he's determined to be there for her in her time of need. Pre-ship/friendship Joanlock. Takes place post episode 6x02.
