The First Journey.
Quick Note – In the first chapter of the First Journey, when I explained about why I deleted old version of this story, I did say what's going to be different in the story, so here are the things are going to be different:
1) In the first game of Kingdom Hearts, Sora was 14, Riku was 15 and Kairi was 14 during their first journey. So, instead of being that age, they will be four years older than the game canon, which means that Sora will be 18, Riku will be 19 and Kairi will be 18. Their physical appearance will also be much different than the game.
2) Sora's personality will be very much different instead of the happy and cheerful personality in the video game, which she will be very cold, blunt, sharp, sarcastic and sadistic. She will also be stronger than the game canon and will have a few abilities in the beginning, like the ability to withstand hits and senses.
3) I decided to have the story rated from T-rated to M-rated, since it will contain sexual content, smut and bloodshed. There might be some possible lemons, but I'm not sure.
4) Whenever Sora gets a keychain from a world, she would use it to not only level up the Keyblade, but to increase her own strength, magic and defense.
5) For every chapter I'm writing, I might just post the way it is and make it a part chapter. (A part chapter is a chapter that's not finished and will be the continuation of it, just in separate parts) I'm planning to combine those said chapter parts together, like the previous two chapters. Instead of Prologue and Prologue (Part Two), it will just be Prologue. However, I might not make part chapters because I'm planning to just write the whole chapter. So, just be prepared for what you're about to read.
Alright, that's pretty much what the story is going to be about. The two previous chapters will be combined in a few days, so be sure to pay attention to the title.
One last thing before we head in the chapter, this is a combine of Destiny Islands part one and part two. I was going to make three part chapters, but I've decided to make two part chapters, so this is the full chapter of Destiny Islands.
Anyway, let's get onto the story!
Chapter Two: Destiny Islands.
It was a hot and beautiful day in a world called Destiny Islands, a world that has two islands separated from each other. One island is the mainland where people lived and work, and the other island, the one that is surrounded by the ocean, is the play-island where younger kids would go and play.
Speaking of the play-island, a figure was laying down on the beach's shore, enjoying the sound of the waves crashing into the shore, the warm sunlight and the seagulls croaking and gulling.
The figure was a tall, young woman that seemed to be about eighteen and just finished high school. She had chocolate-brown hair that was spiky in odd angles in the front and long in the back where it reached her waist, pale-white skin and blue eyes that were bright and icy. Her attire was a tight, red jumpsuit that had puffy shorts and a zipper in the middle, a short-sleeve black jacket with a blue design in the hood and white on the sleeves, a blue belt with a chain handing off on the left side and large, yellow and black shoes. She wore gloves that were fingerless and white with yellow and blue straps holding a silver plate in the middle of glove. For the last part of the attire, a silver necklace that was shaped like a crown was hanging around her neck.
This young woman was Sora, a member of the Destiny Trio and one of the most beautiful women in the world, something that Sora was proud of and hated at the same time. The reason why she is the most beautiful women in the world was because of her body and looks. Said body possessed a tall, voluptuous, yet toned, figure with large, C-cup breasts, wide hips, a slim waist, an excellent ass and toned legs, while said looks possessed a heart-shaped face with no ounce of baby fat, pale-pink lips and high cheekbones.
Sora had gotten the voluptuous figure during her sophomore year of high school and quickly became the one of top ten beauty models, something that started the downfall of Sora's life.
(A/N: I haven't found out what Sora's height is, so she's going to be about 5'5 for her height)
Because of Sora's looks, many people, particularly boys, were looking at her with lust in their eyes, wanting nothing more but to have their own ways with the girl, while the girls were looking enviously and jealously at Sora, wishing that they could possessed a figure like the brown-hair girl.
The last part, the one with the girls being jealous, was one of the reasons why Sora has very little friends and became very cold towards people. Just after a week when Sora gotten her figure, nasty rumors were spreading around in Destiny Islands, about Sora being a whore who would spread her legs out for any boy and becoming a slut. When Sora first heard this, she was deeply shocked and angry, and she spent all day crying her eyes out to her parents, who also heard about the rumors and were as shocked and angry as their daughter.
Luckily, high school was finished, and Sora didn't have to return to school to hear more about the nasty rumors, but that didn't stop the lustful looks she was getting from the male population and the envious looks from the female population. And since then, Sora had spending much of her summer vacation in her house to be away from people.
It was then Sora decided to go to the play-island after she'd woken up and took a shower. She didn't go to the play-island to play with kids, she just went there so she can be left alone and away from the main island. She was walking around the islands with a soft smile on her face, remembering the childhood memories she and the two members of the Destiny Trio, Riku and Kairi, had when they were little.
When walking around, Sora was getting tired and decided to take a nap on the beach. However, when she felled asleep, she had one of the weirdest dreams in the world, and once the darkness took over her after defeating that huge shadow, she'd woken up with a panicked look on her face.
In fact, Sora is thinking about the dream and having her thoughts about it. 'What the hell was that dream?' Sora thought, as she tried to picture the dream she just had. 'It was unlike any dream I had. Was it real? Or was it something to fool me? And what was that voice and what did it mean that I'll be the one who will open the door? What door is the voice talking about?' She tried to come up with a theory, but no matter how hard she think, she couldn't understand what door the voice was talking about.
Sighing, Sora proceeded to laid back down on the sand to enjoy the sunlight on her skin and enjoy looking at the clear sky.
…Only to see a mischief face instead.
"WHOA!" Sora shrieked, shooting straight upwards when she saw the face, her heart beating rapidly. Thinking that it was a pervert, she sent a roundhouse kick behind her and was greatly disappointed when she felt her kick being blocked. But she became pleased when she heard a thud, along with a pain moan, and was about to send another kick, only to become shocked when she heard a feminine voice.
"Whoa, Sora! Stop! It's me!"
Sora quickly put her leg down to stop the kick she was about to send and turned around to see a young woman on the sand, who was moaning and rubbing her arms. "Kairi?!"
This young woman was Kairi, another member of the Destiny Trio. She was the same age as Sora and had red hair that was short and swept to the side a bit to reveal a part of her forehead, pale skin and blue eyes with a tint of purple. Her attire was a white tank top with a black top underneath, which exposed her navel, a purple skirt with purple shorts underneath and a blue belt and white slip-on shoes with purple caps. She wore a black choker around her neck, a yellow wristband as well as a purple armband on her left arm and bracelets on her right arm.
"Sora, what the hell was that for?" Kairi growled, standing up after she was done massaging her arms and giving a glare at the brown-hair girl. "Why did you kick me?"
"Sorry, I thought it was some random guy." Sora said, nervously scratching her face from the glare she was receiving. "I saw the mischief look, and I assumed that it was a guy. Not that I'm saying you're a guy, Kairi!" She hastily said that last part when she saw the glower look on Kairi's face.
"Uh-huh…" Kairi said, not believing the words that are coming from Sora's mouth. "And you're just saying that because I actually do look like a guy, considering that I'm a bit tom-boyish? With my short hair and my flat chest?" She emphasized her point by placing her hands on her chest.
"Uh…" Sora trailed off, not wanting to answer that question.
"Forget it…" Kairi said with a deep sigh. "I don't even want to hear your answer." Truth be told, like all the other girls, the red-hair woman was jealous of Sora's body. She was wondering how Sora gotten such a body, while her own body wasn't even developed yet. Sure, she got a bit of curves and looked pretty to some boys, but there's two things she desperately needed for her body: Height and breasts. Height because she was a 5'3 and not tall enough, and breasts because she was getting tired of being called a boy by some people, namely bullies.
With another deep sigh, Kairi walked over to the beach shore and stared at the ocean, not even giving a single glance at Sora, causing an uncomfortable silence to fill the air. Well, it was uncomfortable to Sora at least.
"Say, Kairi?" Sora asked after a few debating moments, earning a hum from the red-hair woman. "What was your home like? You know, the one you grew up in?"
Another sigh escaped Kairi's lips. "Sora, I told you and Riku once before, and my answer is still the same. I don't remember."
"Nothing at all? Not like a vision?"
"Nothing." Kairi replied with a slight shake of her head. "And whenever I tried to think about it, everything's just…blank. Like someone erased my memory."
Sora couldn't help but gaze at Kairi with a concerned, yet sympathy, look. "Do you want to go back?"
"Hmm…" Kairi let out a hum as she thought about Sora's question. "Well, I'm happy being here on the islands. It is my home." Since she was facing the ocean, she did not see the sneer on Sora's face. "But…I wouldn't mind going to see my old home again, and I hope I don't lose my memories about it."
"I want to see your home, too!" Sora said, walking over to Kairi's left side while losing the sneer in the progress and stared at the ocean. "Along with any worlds out there. I want to explore them all and treasure them in my memories!" A grin was on Sora's face when she said that last part. 'As well as getting away from the islands where I don't have to put up with a bunch of perverts.'
"So, what are we waiting for? Let's go!" Kairi exclaimed, turning to look at Sora with a huge grin on her face.
"Hey!" A sudden male voice exclaimed from behind the girls, causing them to let out shrieks of fright. "Aren't you ladies forgetting about someone or something important?"
With their hearts beating rapidly, Sora and Kairi turned around to see who scared them and immediately became angry when they saw the final member of the Destiny Trio.
Standing behind the girls, wearing an amused expression and carrying a wooden log, was a tall, handsome, lean-built and muscular, young man that seemed a year older than girls, like nineteen or something, and had shoulder-length, spiky silver hair, fair-tan skin and bright cyan eyes. His attire was a sleeveless, yellow and black vest with straps in the front and back, which were intercepted into a X-shape, dark blue baggy pants that were held up by straps and connected to a belt and white and blue shoes. He also wore gloves like Sora, but his were black and just ended the base of his thumb, and like Kairi, he wore black bracelets on both wrists.
This young man was Riku, leader of the Destiny Trio, one of the most handsome bachelors in the world and the crush of a certain buxom brunette.
"Riku!" Sora and Kairi both exclaimed angrily at the same time. "Don't do that! You scared us!"
"It's not my fault that you two had your guard down." Riku retorted in an amused tone before adjusting a log he was carrying. "You were staring at the ocean and talking about going to other worlds, not even paying attention to your surroundings."
Sheepish giggles escaped from Kairi as she looked at the ground and began shuffling her feet, while Sora crossed her arms underneath her chest and pouted childishly.
"Anyway," Riku said, secretly loving the childishly pout on Sora's face for a moment before he became serious. "I guess I'm the only one working on the important thing?"
"Work on what?" Sora asked, a confused look on her face.
"You know what I'm talking about, Sora. Don't you remember what I mentioned a few days ago? When school was over?"
It took Sora a minute to figure out what Riku was talking about, since she was still thinking about the dream she just had and about leaving the islands. When she did figure it out, her eyes widened. "Oh! The raft!"
"There you go, Sora, you figure it out…" Riku muttered under his breath. "Well, it looks like I'm the only one working on the raft then, since Sora seems…forgetful about the important thing." Riku suddenly tossed the wooden log at Sora, who let out a shriek as the log collided into her stomach with force that sent her tumbling to the floor, the log on top of her. Kairi giggled from the action Riku just did to Sora. "And you're just as lazy as Sora, Kairi, even though you did make the plans for the raft."
"Hehe, you noticed." Kairi said, giggling even more. "Ok, we'll all work on the raft together!" She pointed a finger at Sora and Riku, the latter sitting on the sand and protecting himself from the former who was punching Riku in the arm as payback for tossing the log at her. "I'll race you to the raft!"
"Huh?" Sora asked, as she turned towards Kairi after giving one last punch towards Riku.
"What? Are you kidding me?" Riku said, rolling his arm around to ease the pain that was starting to appear.
"Ready?" Kairi asked, raising her hands to her mouth. "GO!"
As soon as Kairi said go, Riku and Sora immediately stood up and began running with playful, yet challenging, smirks on their faces, as memories of racing when they were young filled their minds. They had done this forever, and it was surprising to see Sora running side by side with Riku, considering that she always comes in second place and Riku comes in first.
'She must've been working out lately.' Riku thought, as he stared at Sora with a surprise and proud look on his face. 'I never thought Sora exercising, considering that she likes adventures and fighting me with wooden swords.' What Riku thought about that last part was true. Sora was only interested in adventures and fighting Riku with wooden sword. It was then Riku turned his attention to Sora's body and began to blush a bit. The way Sora's red jumpsuit was clinging to her body, showcasing her curves and huge breasts with the nipples poking through the leather fabric, indicating that she wasn't wearing a bra, it was making a certain part of Riku's body to bulge a bit. 'I can't believe I'm going to say this, but Sora looks hot and sexy in that outfit.' Riku's eyes traveled further downward to Sora's ass, and the bulge in his pants grew tighter.
"Yeah, I won!" Sora cheered, as she passed underneath a wooden bridge that was connected to a small island and a wooden shack and did a fist pump in the air. She had stopped in front of a wooden door that led to the other side of the play-island. She turned around, ready to gloat her victory in Riku's face, only to find him staring at her with a small blush on his face. She got confused and a bit unnerved, what was Riku staring at? "Riku, what are you staring at?"
"N-n-nothing!" Riku hastily said, turning away from Sora, hoping that she didn't see his face or the bulge in his pants. "I wasn't staring at anything! I was staring ahead of me!"
"Uh-huh…" Sora said, not believing Riku's words at all, something that made the said man sweat a bit. Luckily, Riku was saved when Kairi came running over, slightly out of breath.
"Jeez, you guys are fast…" Kairi panted out, as she placed her hands on her knees.
"Well, that's what exercises are for." Sora said, as she stretched her arms in the air. "If you stay healthy, eat vegetables and do laps, you'll be able to run faster and faster." She was earned with an odd look from Kairi. "What?"
"Since when did you started doing exercises?" Kairi asked. "You never seemed interested in doing it before, not even when we had gym in school."
"She does have a point, Sora." Riku said, agreeing with Kairi. "When we were kids, you didn't seem to be interested in exercising."
"Is it wrong for me to not do a bit of exercises?" Sora asked with a chilling look on her face, something that made Riku and Kairi flinched a bit. "Is it wrong that I, a grown woman, can't do a simple bit of exercises, so I can protect myself away from filthy and perverted men that are interested in my body? You both know about the rumors about me in school, right?"
Riku and Kairi had to hold a wince from hearing Sora's very cold and bland voice. They heard about the rumors, and they, like Sora, were deeply shocked and angry at the people who dared say such words to their friend. It was probably the reason why Sora wanted to make the raft, so she can get away from the islands.
"Sora, we didn't mean to…" Riku and Kairi tried to say.
"I'm going to go look for some supplies for the raft. I'll see you two later." Sora said emotionlessly, walking away from her two friends, not even giving them a backwards glance.
Riku and Kairi were still standing at the entrance to the other side of the play-island in silence before Kairi broke it.
"We really messed up, Riku. And we made Sora pissed."
(With Sora)
While Riku and Kairi were talking about their regretful words, Sora was walking around the play-island, scouting for the supplies the Destiny Trio needed for the raft with a very angry expression on her face, while releasing a large amount of killing intent as she walked, preventing other kids that were on the island from approaching her. Not that anyone would dare go near her when they saw that angry face.
'How dare they?!' Sora thought with a snarl, as she continued stomping around the play-island, still releasing that killer intent. 'How dare Riku and Kairi said that to me?! About me not interested in exercising! Do they not know about the nasty rumors about me?! The rumors those jealous bitches spread around the island because of my body?! Do they know or do they not care?!'
Sora was willingly to bet that Riku and Kairi did knew about the rumors but chose not to say anything to her, something that made Sora's heart break a little. Were they not her friends? Friends that were supposed to comfort somebody and tell that said person to let it all out, while offering comforting words?
'Obviously not my friends.' Sora thought with a small snort. 'They don't seem to care about my feelings and didn't bother to comfort me when the rumors started spreading. I can understand Kairi's view, because she wanted a woman's body instead of being tom-boyish. But Riku…'
Sora frowned, not sure how to think of Riku. If she was going to be honest with herself, Riku was the one that disappointed her the most. Sora and Riku had been friends when they were kids, and they usually comfort each other, so what happened for him to stop doing that?
Either it was because that Riku was taking Kairi's side about the exercise part, or it was because Riku knew what Sora was feeling about the rumors but couldn't do anything about it. Sora was betting the latter because it did make sense, and the sense grew more when she remembered Riku being very angry at the people who would talk nastily about her.
The thought of Riku being concerned about her brought a smile and a small blush on Sora's pale face, only for the smile and blush to be replaced by a look of sadness. There were two things that Sora wanted above all else in the world: To get away from the islands and have Riku ask her on a date.
When growing up, Sora had a crush on Riku because he was the only friend she had, and the feelings grew more over the years until the buxom brunette came to realized, when she hit puberty, that she loves Riku. She had tried to tell him this, but her shyness prevented her from saying the love word and she was afraid that she would get rejected, something that Sora doesn't want at all.
So, instead of telling Riku about her feelings, Sora decided to wear clothing that would earn Riku's attention, like the red jumpsuit she was wearing right now. The clothing trick works all the time, but it still wasn't enough for Riku to ask her out. What else can she do to get Riku's attention?
A heavy sigh escaped Sora's mouth as she stopped stomping around the play-island and looked up at the sky. "Sky, why does everything have to be so frustrating sometimes, including on trying to start a relationship with the man I love? Do you think that I should just keep doing what I always do to get Riku's attention; keep wearing this jumpsuit with no bra underneath?"
If the sky had a face right now, Sora could tell that it would be embarrassed as hell when she asked that question.
"Not going to answer me?" Sora asked, narrowing her blue eyes at the sky before letting out a huff. "Well, fine then. I don't need your stupid opinion. I'll just keep doing what I always done to get Riku's attention; wear this jumpsuit with no bra underneath."
With that, Sora turned around and began walking on the play-island, looking for the supplies she needed to get for the raft, along with a couple of food and a bottle of clean water when she and her friends set sail. She would gather more food on the island tomorrow.
(Twenty Minutes Later)
Sora had managed to gather all the supplies she and her friends needed into a box that was on the island for some reason and walked to the other side of the play-island where the raft would be. The other side of the play-island was filled with broken wood structures, coconut trees and a wooden watch tower. But unlike the other side that has a mainland, this side had an endless ocean.
When Sora reached to where the raft is, which the said raft was a basic boat with a pole in the middle, the brunette was surprised to see Kairi leaning against the pole, looking at something in her hands. Still angry from what Kairi said about her not interested in exercising, Sora walked over to the red-hair girl and announced her presence with her ice-cold tone. "Hi, Kairi."
Kairi instantly looked up from what she was doing when she heard an ice-cold voice and paled when she saw it was Sora, who had a cold look on her face. "H-h-hey, Sora." Kairi nervously greeted the buxom brunette. "D-d-did you get all the supplies we need to make the raft?"
"Hm-hmm." Sora hummed, still having that cold look on her face, as she gave Kairi the box that was filled with the supplies. Kairi took the box with a light grunt since it was heavy and set it down next to her feet.
'Shit, she's in that mood again.' Kairi thought with a chill, remembering the last time Sora was like when she was in that mood. It was one of the scariest things the red-hair girl had ever saw in her life, and it took two weeks for the images of what happened to those poor souls to fade away. 'Better be careful what I'm saying, or I will be one of Sora's victims.'
Trying very hard not to shake in fear, Kairi put on a weak smile and tried to start a conversation. "So, that's everything we need for the raft. All we have to do is connect the rope and white sheet together to make a sail, and then we'll be setting sail in one day! Though, we do need to get some more food and water supplies. I know a place to get some more-"
"Kairi," Sora interrupted Kairi's rambling, who froze. "Let's focus on making the sail before worrying about the food. It shouldn't take too long to make the sail and connect it to the raft, so help me with this." The brunette began making small holes in the white sheet to where the rope will go in.
Silence stretched over the two women as they began working on the sail, though the silence was uncomfortable to Kairi at least, because she was working with a woman that she had just insulted. The red-hair woman wanted to apologize to Sora and be friends with her again, but she was scared that her words would not be filled with sorrow, and she might be one of Sora's…painful victims.
Just when Sora and Kairi got the rope in the sail and began tying it around the wooden pole, Kairi couldn't take the silence anymore and broke it.
"Sora, I'm sorry about what I said earlier." Kairi suddenly blurted out, causing Sora to stop what she was doing. "I didn't mean to insult you, but I was just surprised from what you were doing the summer. I never thought you would be interested in exercising."
Sora turned her head sideways a bit to give Kairi a piercing stare with one eye. "Oh, really? Enlighten me then, Kairi. Why would I, a woman, not be interested in exercising?"
Kairi gulp fearfully from the one eye piercing stare. "W-w-well, I thought it was a-about getting credit for gym class."
"Credit for gym class, hmm?" Sora asked with a slight hum. "Now, that's interesting…"
"But after high school ended," Kairi continued her explanation. "I thought that you would just go back to what you usually do when we were kids, exploring the island. But when the rumors began spreading around the island-"
"You and Riku knew the rumors, and didn't even bother to talk to me about it?" Sora asked, back to using the ice-cold and bland tone. She was now standing up and walking ever so slowly towards Kairi, like a predatory stalking on its prey.
If Kairi wasn't sweating before, she was now and she was sweating fast. Her body was trembling, and she was now closed to wetting herself from the look on Sora's face. It was so cold and terrifying that the red-hair woman couldn't do nothing but stand there in a frozen state. The fear increased into frightening heights when Kairi realized how tall Sora was; the brunette seemed to be at least 5'5, while she, Kairi, was about 5'3.
Just when Sora reached the red-hair woman and raised her hand up, Kairi closed her eyes to braced herself for the slap that was going to happen, only to snap her blue-purple eyes open when she felt a hand rubbing her head and saw an apologetic and regretful look on Sora's face.
"I'm sorry, Kairi. I didn't mean to get angry at you and Riku; I was just mad at the fact you guys didn't believe that I would exercise at all." Sora said, still rubbing Kairi's head. "It's mostly my fault for not mentioning about my workouts, and I was expecting your reactions in the future, but I wasn't expecting the reaction to be this soon, and I let my temper get the best of me. So, I'm sorry about my attitude, Kairi? Can you forgive me?"
"Oh, Sora!" Kairi exclaimed, giving her best friend a tight hug. "Of course, I will forgive you and your attitude. It was me that caused you to become angry, and I should be the one apologizing, not you. And me and Riku knew the rumors, but we couldn't say anything or comfort you about it since we didn't want people to hound on us. I'm sorry for not comforting you, Sora, but I'm glad that we are friends again."
A smile appeared on Sora's face as she hugged Kairi back, glad that her friendship with the red-hair woman was repaired, even though she still needed to talk to a certain silver-hair man, something that she was very much looking forward to, which caused a shiver to run down the said silver-hair man.
The two women didn't know how long they were hugging, but as they pulled away from each other with bright smiles on their faces, it didn't matter to them because they had repaired a feeling that will always be in their hearts: Friendship.
(Time-Skip)
The sun was now setting down in the horizon, causing the sky color from sky-blue to orange with a tint of redness. If people looked in the direction of where the sun is from a distance, they would've called the scene beautiful and romantic.
In fact, three people are looking at the sunset from a distance, and those people were Sora, Riku and Kairi. All three of them were on the small island, sitting on an open-palm tree, or in Riku's case, leaning against the tree with his arms cross. However, instead of a happy atmosphere, there was silence that was filled with tension. It wasn't hard to figure out why, since Sora was giving Riku cold glances from time to time, indicating that she was still angry with him from earlier.
Hoping to break the tense silence and have the atmosphere become happy instead of tense, Kairi put on a small, weak smile and said, "So…only one more day until we set sail into the ocean. Are you guys excited for that?" To Kairi's great relief, the tension in the air disappeared to be replaced by happiness as small smiles appeared on Sora's and Riku's faces.
"Yeah, I can't wait to be away from the islands." Sora said cheerfully, pumping a fist in the air. "As I said before, I want to see all worlds!"
"I can't wait to finally escape this world." Riku said with a hint of a smile, even though he wanted to say 'prison' instead of world. "And we'll soon find Kairi's real home out there."
"How far can a wooden raft take us, Riku?" Sora asked, turning to look at the silver-hair man.
"Who knows, Sora?" Riku replied, waving a hand in the air before crossing his arms again. "If we have to change plans of the raft, we'll think of something else."
"What would you do, Riku, if you managed to get to another world?" Kairi suddenly asked. "You did kept talking about building the raft, so what would you do if you get to another world?"
Riku looked a bit startled and wasn't sure how to respond to Kairi's question. He was so focused on building the raft that he didn't had time to think about what he would do if he, along with Sora and Kairi, got to another world.
"I'm…not sure, Kairi." Riku finally replied. "I haven't really thought about what I would do when we get to another world. But I always wonder why we are on this island, not that I hate it since it is our home." A distant, yet longing, look appeared in Riku's eyes. "But if there are other worlds out there, then why did we end up here?"
"Since the islands name is Destiny Islands, could it be that we are destined to go to other worlds?" Sora suggested, thinking about the strange dream she had a few hours ago.
"Probably, Sora, but we won't know by sitting here, and that's why we need to go out there and prove that other worlds exist." Riku said, pushing himself away from the tree and walked forward until he reached the edge of the small island. "If we sit here, then we'll never prove that other worlds exist, and we won't get the answers we're looking for."
"You have been thinking a lot lately, Riku." Kairi stated with surprised in her voice, never hearing such words from Riku before. Sora was also surprised by Riku's words.
"Yeah, it's because of you, Kairi. You help me create raft idea." Riku said, turning around to look at Kairi. "If you haven't come here, I wouldn't be able to start this in the first place. So, thanks."
"Hehe, you're welcome, Riku." Kairi said with a giggle and a smile.
A deep frown appeared on Sora's face as she watched Riku and Kairi exchanged words about the raft, but it wasn't the raft that made the deep frown to appear on her face. No, it was how happy Riku and Kairi were getting at the moment. She didn't like it. She didn't like how happy Riku and Kairi were getting. It was making a tendril of jealously wrapping around her heart and causing her to clench her fist tightly.
'They just friends, Sora. Just friends.' Sora thought desperately, trying to ignore the jealously in her heart. 'Kairi isn't interested in Riku. She sees him as an older brother.' The buxom brunette repeating the phrase 'Kairi sees Riku as an older brother' in her head multiple times, but the jealously she was feeling kept increasing.
"Well, it's getting late, we should be heading back to the main land." Kairi said, as she jumped down from the tree she was sitting on. "I'm just going to go on ahead. I'll see you two back at the mainland." The red-hair woman began running towards the docks.
"Bye, Kairi." Sora and Riku both said, as they watched their friend run off for a few moments before silence reigned over the duo.
"I supposed I should get going." Sora said, jumping down from the tree. "I need to go to the store to pick up some food for the raft and for me tonight." She gave Riku a nod of farewell before walking across the wooden bridge. Sora had just reached where the wooden door to the wooden shack was when she heard her name being called.
"Wait, Sora!" Sora turned around to see Riku running towards her with an item in his hands.
"What?" Sora asked a bit coldly.
Riku felt a shiver run down his spine from hearing the cold tone but kept a strong façade. "I wanted to give you something in a token of forgiveness to be your friend again." The silver-hair man handed Sora the item he had, which turned out to be a star-shape fruit that was orange and had a single leaf on the top.
"A paopu fruit?" Sora asked, staring at the fruit in her hands before looking up at Riku in confusion.
"If two people shared one, they will become a part of each other's lives forever." Riku explained, walking a bit closer to Sora, who blush from the close contact. "And if the two people that shared the paopu fruit get lost, they will always be in each other's hearts."
"Riku…" Sora said, staring back and forth from Riku to the paopu fruit in her hands, and the blush on her face turned into a bright blush. "Are you saying that you want to share the paopu fruit…with me?"
A soft smile appeared on Riku's face. "I do want to share the paopu fruit with you, Sora, for two reasons. One, I wanted to apologize to you from earlier. I shouldn't say those words about you not interested in exercising; I was just surprised at all. I'm also wanted to apologize for not comforting you about the rumors that were going around the island. I was very angry at the people, but if I did something to protect you, I would've been the next victim. Again, I'm sorry about not comforting you."
"And the second reason?" Sora asked quietly, feeling happiness, joy…and love in her heart. The thoughts of Riku being concerned about her was bringing tears in her eyes.
A small blush appeared on Riku's face, but he didn't lose the soft smile. "The second reason why I want to share the paopu fruit with you, Sora…is because I like you."
A gasp escaped Sora's mouth as she looked up at Riku in shock, who stood two inches taller than her. "Y-y-you like me?"
"Yes," Riku said with a nod of his head. "I always like you when we were kids, Sora, and it was just friendship at first. But when those rumors started spreading around the island, my feelings of friendship for you changed into a boyfriend/girlfriend relationship. I wanted to confess my feelings for you, but I didn't want to do it when people were around, and I didn't want people to spread rumors about me. So, what I'm saying is, Sora, do you want to be my girlfriend and share this paopu fruit with me?"
Sora stood still for a moment before she quickly wrapped her arms around Riku's shoulders and stood on the tip of her toes to give him a passionate and loving kiss on the lips, while pressing her body against Riku's body. Riku was surprised by the action Sora just did, but he didn't pull away from the kiss; he just kissed back with equal passion and loving and began moving his hands. He placed one hand on Sora's hips and one hand through Sora's chocolate-brown locks. Sora opened her mouth to let out a moan from feeling a hand on her hip, and Riku took advantage of that moan by shoving his tongue in Sora's mouth, which caused the brunette to let out a muffled, yet loud, moan.
'Sora tastes like vanilla.' Riku mused, as he swirled his tongue around in Sora's mouth.
'Riku tastes like…I don't know.' Sora thought, as she tried to force her tongue inside Riku's mouth but couldn't since Riku was battling her tongue.
Sora and Riku didn't know how long they were kissing, but when they were running out of air, they gave each other one last kiss before pulling away from each other. A string of saliva was connected to the tip of their tongues, and they were looking at each other with love in their eyes, even though Sora's eyes were blurry from the tears that were gathered in her eyes.
"You have no idea how much I wanted to hear those words, Riku." Sora said, as the tears in her eyes began streaming down. "I always wanted to tell you my feelings, but my shyness prevented me from confessing, and I was afraid getting rejected. So, I would do things to get your attention."
"Like the clothing trick you have been doing for a while?" Riku asked with a teasing smirk.
"How do you know that?!" Sora exclaimed; her face turning a darker shade of red that put Kairi's hair to shame. It was then she realized what she said and covered her face with her hands. "No, I didn't mean to reveal that! That's supposed to be my secret!"
"Oh, I knew what you were doing for a while, Sora. Even when we were racing earlier." Riku said with a chuckle. "And that clothing trick of yours works heavenly and wonderful."
"Shut up! Shut up! Shut up!" Sora shrieked, completely embarrassed as hell from the last part. Steam was coming out of her ears, and her face was now very red. She was currently swatting Riku in the arm with one hand, who was laughing at the embarrassed brunette. A few moments later, Riku stopped laughing at Sora, but he did have a teasing grin on his face.
"Anyway, now that you are done hitting me," Riku said, still having that grin on his face, causing Sora to scowl at him. "Are you ready to share the paopu fruit with me?"
The scowl on Sora's face, along with the very red blush, disappeared to be replaced by a bright grin and she nodded her head before lifting up the star-shape fruit. They then positioned their faces to both ends of the fruit and waited for a moment.
"Ready?" Riku asked, making Sora nod her head. "We take a bite on three. One. Two. Three." Sora and Riku, not taking their eyes off from each other, leaned forward and took a single bite of the paopu fruit, which tasted sweet and delicious. They kept chewing on the paopu fruit pieces in their mouth for a moment before swallowing it. "Hmm, that tasted sweet."
"I agree." Sora said, liking the fruit taste. "It tasted sweet."
"Why do you always copy me?"
"I don't always copy you. Are you calling me a copycat?" Sora asked in mock-sternness, placing her hands on her hips and giving Riku a stern glance.
"Of course not, my dear. I was just asking." Riku replied, giving Sora an innocent look, which caused the brunette to giggle.
"Even though you said you like me, and we became boyfriend and girlfriend, I love you, Riku." Sora said, smiling at her boyfriend.
"I love you too, Sora." Riku said, smiling back at his girlfriend. "Now, let's head back to the mainland."
After giving each other one last kiss, Riku and Sora headed towards the wooden docks of where their boats were. As they walked to the docks, Sora remembered the words Riku said about the paopu fruit and couldn't help but repeat the words in her head.
"If two people share a paopu fruit, they will become a part of each other's lives, and if the two people that shared the paopu fruit get lost, they will always be in each other's hearts."
'Yeah, we will always be with each other in our hearts, Riku. Even if we get lost or separated.' Sora thought with happiness. 'Together, always.'
Alright, that is the end of the full chapter of Destiny Islands. I'm sorry that you readers were expecting more part chapters of Destiny Islands; I usually planned what I wanted to write, but after a few days, I change my mind about it. Again, I'm sorry about that.
Anyway, next chapter is going to be about Disney Castle where we will meet Donald and Goofy. If you guys are wondering if they're going to be different than game canon, stay tuned for the next chapter.
Also, I just read the reviews a couple weeks ago, and one review caught my attention. It was about Sora sheltering Vanitas's heart instead of Ventus. I would say in this story that Sora is sheltering half of Ventus's and Vanitas's hearts. It makes sense because when Ventus beat Vanitas in the final battle of Kingdom Hearts: Birth by Sleep, half of their hearts were combined into one and since one side of a heart is filled with light and the other is filled with dark, both half hearts are influencing Sora's personality. So, I wouldn't say that Sora is a dark person, just having Vanitas's anger and coldness inside her.
Write a review if you like this story and enjoy the chapter.
