Disclaimer: I own Hiroko, that's about it.

--(Rage; but funny)--

"DEKU YOU IDIOT, TELL ME HOW YOU DID THAT OR YOU'RE DEAD"

It was so calm before Mr. Sparky-man started screaming and running to Kuku. Even if I was confused and slightly upset about Izuku's new powers, that didn't mean I was going to fight him.

Before Bokugo could reach Midoriya, however, a familiar scarf wrapped around him. Easily containing the ranging teen.

"How is your scarf so strong?" he questioned still being secured from his target.

"Because it's a capture weapon." Mr. Aizawa said, " made out of a special carbon fiber and a special metal alloy." his hair standing up again, quirk in use.

"Stand down." his words had a finality, "it would be wise to avoid making me use my quirk so much, it gives me serious dry eye."

"Too bad, that power is amazing." the class said together. Honestly, it would explain the tired eyes, not so much the crazy hair, but still.

"You're wasting my time now. Whoever's next can step up." our teacher said, waving his hand to signify his words. "Oh, and Bushida, next time you have a problem, I suggest getting to know your friends better before you make assumptions."

I just stood there staring at Kuku, many feelings stirring. On one hand, I was so happy for Izuku, his dreams would be closer now. But why didn't he tell me?

When I looked up Bokugo was still in his spot, staring at the ground. Completely ignoring Kuku who stayed clear from the boy. I knew it was probably wise to stay away from Bokugo, speaking that he was clearly angry. So I went to check on my no longer quirkless friend.

"Hey, Kuku, you okay?" I asked, a slightly deeper meaning behind my words. He only nodded, but looked down, knowing I was upset.

I was mad because he didn't tell me. I had just assumed we were still really close, but he hadn't even told me he had a quirk. I mean we had spent many years away from each other, but I guess I had stood up for him, but he kept something that big from me. But I could get over it, once he explained I'd be fine. It would be fine.

I walked over to Bokugo completely ignoring my previous moment of wisdom, even if I was mad, I could always make time for my fans.

"Well, that's an ugly face." I called out, noticing that he was staring angrily at Kuku. He turned to me, fire in his eyes. I was taken back by his expression but held my ground. He smirked, however, noticing my reaction.

"Leave or I'll set you on fire." he threatened, rolled my eyes again, knowing he couldn't do much of an attack with Aizawa just a few feet away.

"Oh please. I'm not challenging your dominance, so put the firecrackers away." I said, pointing toward his hands, which were not sparking. "I just came to talk."

"Well I don't talk to losers." he said trying to walk off.

"So why do you wanna be a hero?" I asked, following behind him, and ignoring his previous insult. However, this only aggravated him more.

"What about the I don't talk to losers didn't you understand, you idiot." he said, still not turning to look at me.

"is that the only insult you have, idiot and loser, that's not very creative, or heroic." I said, watching as he finally turned to me, eyes glaring at me. He was seething, and I had one last trick up my sleeve to see what he could really do.

"You know, " I said, getting closer to him, hearing the sparkling from his hands. "you're actually pretty hot when you're angry,

He stepped back, clearly not expecting the half complement, but instead of throwing another fit like I thought he would, and looked away from me, embarrassed. So the hot-head can't take compliments, how adorable.

"See you later Katsuki." I called, and just as I left I completely went red. I can't believe I actually said that, to a stranger. I was bold sure, but not that bold. That wasn't even what I was going to say. Curse my immediate attraction to cute boys.

Since I had done the softball test earlier I waited next to Kuku for the remaining students. It was an awkward silence but soon enough we all moved on to situps.

I was in line behind a red-haired boy when I thought he looked familiar. His hair was spiked in many different directs but was different than Bokugo's, his was longer and more spread out.

"Cool hair." I said, huh, deja vu. He turned to look at me when I finally placed him. "hey, you're the boy I saved, Kirishim right?"

"Kirishima, but yeah." he said, smiling at me. F cry

He had sharp teeth and red eyes, which would usually be intimidating, but he seemed like a total cinnamon roll.

"Well, I'm Hiroko if you forgot." I added, "It's pretty cool that we got to be in the same class."

"Uh yeah, hey you wanna be my sit-up partner." He asked, putting his arm behind his awkwardly. I nodded my head in agreement. When it was our turn Kirishima got in place, with me holding down his feet.

"So what's your quirk?" I asked, but instead of answering me, his body turned to a rock-like substance. I blinked for a second wondering if I was seeing things. I reached out my hand and touched his leg, it wasn't a rock like substance, it was rock.

"Cool." I said, still astonished. He smiled brightly at me.

"What's yours?" He asked, already starting his sit-ups. I started counting in my head before I answered.

"Enhancement. 5."

"What's that mean?"

"I can make physical or mental improvements to any living thing.. 10"

"Like, you could make me stronger?"

"I mean I guess, but I'd have to be touching you."

"Can you do it to yourself? That's 18."

"Yeah, that's how I've been getting my results, by either making myself stronger or faster in different areas. 20."

"That's pretty cool."

"Can you change yourself and others or.."

"I can only harden myself. 25"

"That's still pretty cool, does it hurt or.."

"Yeah, for a second but then it's fine, 30"

By the time he steamed out he had gotten to 75 sit-ups, way more than I planned on doing.

When it came to my turn I did 50 before I got tired, not amazing but better than average.

After distance running which I despised but passed pretty well, our class gathered outside, awaiting our results.

"I've ranked you all from best to worst. You should probably have a good idea of your standing already." Mr. Aizawa said, bringing out his phone. "I'll just show you the whole list, it's not worth going over everyone's individual scores."

A blue projection of names was shown in the air, just barely hovering over our teacher's head. I scanned the list taking in each answer, I had been 5th, just two places below spikey-boy.

Next I searched for Kuku, he was dead last. I turned to him, worry clearly written on my face. He would have to go home, and only when he had just begun.

"And I was lying, no ones going home."

I'm sorry what?

"That was just a rational deception to make sure you gave it your all in the tests." Aizawa's smile was probably the creepiest thing about him.

I had been so worried about what I had been doing for nothing. I mean we all got to see how mush we could push our limits but that was insane. I looked again at Izuku-Chan and his had gone pale white.

"I'm surprised the rest of you didn't figure that out, I'm sorry I guess I should have said something." A girl with a high ponytail said from beside him.

"Yeah," I said under my breath, but greatly relived my friend wouldn't have to leave U.A.

"That's it we're done for the day." Easer Head said before turning to leave, "Pick up a syllabus in the classroom, read it over before Tomorrow morning." Not turning to look back at us, However he stoped by Izuku and gave him a paper.

When leaving the school I finally saw Kuku talking to Uraraka, and the tall boy with glasses. The girl had just said something to the messy haired teen, and now he was blushing profoundly. I snickered slightly and quickly ran up to the three of them.

"Hey Kuku," I said smiling, showing him I was approachable. "So you gonna tell me how you got that quirk?"

Both the people he was talking to gave me confused looks, and Midoriya himself started stuttering and looking everywhere but me.

When it became evident that he wasn't going to answer coherently I turned to the boy I didn't know.

"Hi, I'm Hiroko Bushida nice to meet you." I said, holding out my hand. He proudly took it and puffed out his chest.

"Tenya Iida," he answered, giving me a bow. I was very uncomfortable, bowing was odd after so many years of not doing it, but I bowed anyway.

"Your rockets are super cool." I told him, genuinely. Trying to get over the awkwardness.

"Thank you, buy I can't figure out your quirk, but you seem fast and strong." He answered, I nodded my head before giving him the run down of my abilities.

"That's a pretty powerful quirk, what do your parents do?" He asked, I noticed Kuku slightly winced at the mention of my parents. I only shook my head reassuring him

"Um, I wouldn't say I was that powerful, but," I said grabbing a piece of my braid and teasing it. "well my dad is a teacher now, but he and my mom used to be pro hero's, my mother had an enhancement quirk like mine, but only enhancing herself. While my father can restore energy to the things or people around him."

I smiled, at them despite the slight pain in my chest, "They worked well together, both like a tag team, I was just lucky enough to get a combination of their quirks."

Iida nodded his head taking in the information when Uraraka raised her hand.

"You said your mom had enhancement, did she lose it.?" She asked, looking mortified at the thought of losing a quirk permanently, I shook my head calming her slightly.

"No, she died when I was little." I told he honestly, she looked shocked and slowly started giving me pity eyes. While Iida focused on me and put his arm on my shoulder in comfort.

"I truly am sorry for you loss Bushida-San." He said, I only smiled and shook my head again.

"First of all, just call me Hiroko, second, thanks but I'm fine, you can't always let pain stop you from living your life." I said, "So enough about this sad stuff, what where you guys doing to poor Kuku to get him all red like that?"

—————————————————————

U.A was a high school, so of course we couldn't get away from regular classes. Math, English, Science and History where in the morning. Where I sat beside Bokugo, who threatened to kill me multiple times for staring at him during class.

Then was lunch. Which I have to say was delicious, I sat with Iida, Uraraka and Kuku. Who by the way fanboyed about the famous Pro hero Lunch Rush being our cook.

That's when we finally had hero time.

"I am here." A very familiar catchphrase booming from the doorway. "Coming through the door like a hero." Wait, so coming through the window would be like a villain?

"Wow, so he is a teacher here."

This years gonna be so cool."

"It's his silver age costume, it's so retro."

Thais was amazing!! All might was such a cool hero, he could always get people to smile, I just admired it so much. All might was the top hero in the world. His famous debut; saving 1,000 people by himself. And he hasn't left the top since.

He was a tall guy, like 7 feet. His gold hair sticking up at the front adding on as well. The most recognizable part about him though, besides being as big as a truck, was his smile, he was always smiling. To the point some thought it was a medical conduction.

"Welcome to the most important class at U.A. high, think of it as "Hero-ing 101" Here you will learn the basics of being a pro, and what it means to fight in the name of good." All Might's voice said, his voice the essence of hero, "And What it means to fight in the name of good, let's get into it.

"Today's lesson, will pull no punches." He held a note card with bright bold letters "BATTLE"

"Fight training!" Katsuki said from beside me, smiling evily. I turned to look at Izuku who looked just as scared as I felt.

"Real combat?" He asked,

"You know," I commented, "if you keep screaming like that McBlasty, you're gonna go deaf." I smirked as I watched him turn to me eyes now blazing, too easy.

"KEEP TALKING AND I'LL RIP YOUR MOUTH OFF." He said, I only rolled my eyes, but went quiet.

"Right..." All Might said, bringing his attention back to the rest of the class. "But one of the keys to being a hero is... looking good." His enormous hand pointing toward a wall, when shelves slowly opened, holding briefcases with numbers on them.

"These on designed for you based on your Quirk registration forms and the requests you sent in before school started."

Gasps and shouts echoed through the classroom as we grabbed our numbers.

When I was in America I focused solely on becoming better at fighting, and my studies, sure but, I've never been good at them. Either by quirk usage or martial arts. Sense my quirk revolves around my body or having to touch someone to make an effect, I had to work on best fighting techniques that would bring the fighter to the ground and reflexes so I could dodge attacks.

At first my sister just enrolled me into karate, since I wasn't nearly old enough to handle anything more difficult. But as I got older I became more advanced, with exceptional teachers I was able to enhance my movements and strengths at perfect timing.

After a while I realized that I could be studying different forms of martial arts, so I did research and found Brazilian jujitsu and Kung fu. One centering On taking down your opponent no mater the size, and the other working with deflecting the attacks.

And Kung fu is where I mastered the bow staff. I had used it before in karate but hadn't become great with it due to my adapting quirk, but the more I practiced the better I got. That's why I made sure to have a collapsable bow staff included into my costume design and use it as a support item. Portable, but can be deadly.

The costume was exactly how I had pictured it. It was a stretchy form fitting suit, almost skin tight. Purple and blue stripes twisted up my body, making the colors pop on the black base. On my left thy I had a holster for my bow staff. I also had fingerless gloves (all black with singular purple and blue strips right on the edge of the glove) is in that reached to little ways past my wrists, with metal bracelets covering my upper arm, and around my waist and boots.

About a year ago, when I was in since class we talked about how metal could conduct and potentially contain energy. Curious as I was, I used my quirk on the silver my teacher had given us to feel, however nothing happened. But two minuets later, the girl who was sitting next to me, had her quirk react to the metal. But she controlled water so it was suspicious. I then told my teacher what I had done, and instead of getting in trouble, my teacher geeked out.

Soooo, long story short, strong enough metals could contain my quirk and release when touched by other living organisms, but pretty uncontrollably, but with me I could use it as a replacement battery.

The last part of my hero costume was my boots, made specifically for speed and strength, and my helmet. Also lined with silver and a Bluetooth. It was a plain black helmet, again however, a blue and purple strip started from the front of the visor and ended it the very back, mirroring on both sides. The helmet covered my entire head. This visor turned to the color of my eyes when I was using my quirk. Purple using it on myself, and blue on others, and black when My quirk wasn't in use. I looked cool, not gonna lie.

The only downside to my costume: the amount of time it took to put on, so that's why being in the girls locker room was starting to get on my nerves.

"Wow, your costume is super cool, girl." The pink girl with horns said, she was rocking a skin tight outfit too. All blue but with purple paints covering the front, with fax fur on her shoulders.

"Same, definitely like those color on you." I said, loving her energy. "My names Hiroko Bushida, but you can just call me Hiroko."

"Mina Ashido, you can call me Mina too." She smiled, putting her fingers in a piece sign.

"So what's your quirk?" I asked Wondering if her horns had anything to do with it.

"Acid, can burn through a lot, and come out of any part of my body." She said, shooting some out of her finger, burning through the bench. We both looked at each other wondering if anyone else saw that, then burst out laughing.

"Try not to destroy the school." I said, she only nodded her head, deciding it was best to leave quickly.

The hallway leading toward Training Ground Beta was surprisingly quite, all of us not sure of what we where going to find.

When we finally stepped into the light I got a good look at the hero costumes around me, looking specifically for either a messy haired boy, or either spikes one. My eyes finding Kirishima first.

His costume was different, he had gear-like cuffs on his shoulders, a belt holding a cape around his legs, baggy pants and red rustic boots to match. Not to mention the wolf-like teeth around his head completely made of metal. But he pulled it off.

"Definitely liking the look." I said, "the red looks super cool." He turned to me and raised an eyebrow. Oh right, the helmet. I quickly pulled off the helmet, clicking a special button only I knew where, and brought my braided hair to my shoulder. Now stuffing the helmet under my arm.

"Oh, yeah sorry hard to recognize you with the helmet." He said, "it looked awesome." He commented.

"Thanks, I'm wondering what week be doing, especially now that we know it's battling." I asked.

"Don't know, but I hope it's gonna be manly." He said, putting a determined face on and pumping his fist. I laughed a little at the action, He just looked so happy I couldn't help but smile along.

"Now that your ready, it's time for combat training. " All might said, putting both hands on his hips. Doing a basic hero pose.

"Sir," someone said with an iron like suit, "This is the fake city of our entrance exam, Does that mean will be conducting urban battles again? " wait, I know that monotone voice anywhere, So it's Iida.

"Not quite," The hero answered, " i'm going to be moving you two steps ahead most of the villain fights you see on the news take place outside, however statistically speaking run-ins with the most dastardly evildoers happen indoors."

"Think about it, back room deals, Home invasions, secret underground lairs. truly intelligent criminals stay hidden in the shadows. For this training exercise you will be split up into teams of Good guys and bad guys and fight two-on-two indoor battles."

"Isn't this a bit much?" A girl with green hair asked, touching her hand to her lips. Oh my goodness she was so adorable, I want to protect her..., that wouldn't be weird? Right?

" The best training happens on the battlefield, but remember you can't just put punch a robot, you're dealing with actual people."

"Sir, Will you be the one deciding who wins?"

"How much can we hurt the other teams?"

"Do we need to worry about the losers being expelled like last time?"

"Will you be splitting us up based on chance or comparable skill?"

"Is this cape trÄ 's chic?"

I did exactly understand which student asked what, but I knew for absolute fact, that spiky-boy asked the hurting question, and however asked about the cape... I would very much like to meet you.

A growling for All Might stoped the questions, I snorted trying to hold back my laughter, who new the symbol of peace had such a short temper when it came to teenagers and questions.

" I wasn't finished talking." The growling stoped, but All Might pulled out a paper and unfolded it, then started reading. "The situation is this the villains have hidden a nuclear missile somewhere in the hideout the hero's must try to foil their plan. To do that the good guys must Either capture the bad guys or we cover the missile, likewise with the bad guys, they must protect the weapon or capture the opposing team."

Yeah, I guess that makes sense.

"Time's limited so we will draw lots." The teacher continued on.

" isn't there a better way?" Iida asked, muffled slightly by his mask.

"Pros are always teaming up with other agencies on the spot so maybe there's a reason we're seeing this here." Kuku said, always thinking ahead. I smiled at my friend, examining his costume. It was a very light shade of green, and had a not so subtle V, on his head and a big smile on his mask. Even if he was following in All Mights foot steps, he definitely deserved to be.

"Yes, I see, life is always random" Iida answered, then turned to All might, Bowing , "please excuse my rudeness."

"No sweat, let's draw." Said the symbol of peace, pounding his fist in the air. When we drew, the pairs were:

Team A: Uraraka Ochako and Midoriya Izuku

Team B: Shoji Mezo and Todoroki Shoto

Team C: Iida Tenya and Yaoyorozu Momo

Team D: Bakugo Katsuki and Bushida Hiroko

Team E: Ashido Mina and Aoyoma Yuga

Team F: Sato Rikido and Koda Koji

Team G: Kaminari Danki and Jiro Kyoka

Team H: Asui Tsuyu and Tokoyami Fumikage

Team I: Ojiro Mashirao and Hagakure Toru

Team J: Sero Hanta and Kirishima Eijiro

Wow, what are the odds? I turned to look at Bokugo, who just looked disgusted. Well you're no picnic either Mr. Boom Boom boy.

"And the first to fight will be.." All might called, grabbing to balls from the good and bad box, "Team A, and Team D"

Ok but seriously, us against Kuku and Uraraka. What we the chances?

—————————————————————-

Very high, because this is a fanfic, pay attention. Anyway... I'm having a lot of fun calling Bokugo almost anything but his name, also I know that part about the backstory was probably really boring to read so my bad. But I wanted the information across, I will be going deeper into her back story but that was a run down. I also liked the idea of her quirk reacting to metal, but I didn't want her getting too OP. Ok so peace out, thx for reading, and pls review.
