——————-Fears and a breach——————
U.A. was surrounded by reporters. On my way up to the entrance gate, I saw my classmates being interrogated by many of them. One specifically asking questions. When I walked up she pointed a microphone in my face.
"What do you think about All Might being your teacher?" she asked. I don't see what's wrong with answering questions, it would be pretty cool to be on TV.
" It's actually really cool, we just did training yesterday." I told her, getting an uproar from the rest of them.
"What was the training about, how is he doing as a teacher?" she asked another question, shoving the mic in my face again, which I scooted down so I talk better.
"We just did superhero stuff ya know, oh and he's doing great, very inspiring." I said, giving my teacher the best light. They all looked bored at my answer, and she was about to ask something else when Bakuboy showed up.
"You're not supposed to be answering the questions, idiot." he said, not even looking at me. He's probably still mad about yesterday. When I looked out the window after Izuku left, both looked to be in a heated conversation.
"Oh, hey Sparky, you came to grace me with your presence." I flirted, ignoring his glaring and walking up with him.
"Hey, aren't you that Sludge Villian Boy." the reporter I was just talking to asked. Spiky turned around giving her an evil look, before growling out:
"Walk away."
And impressively, they did. I looked at him confused, wondering what she was talking about. I hadn't heard anything about a Sludge Villian.
"What were they talking about?" I asked, still keeping his pace.
"That "Walk away" was meant for you too." his voice terrifyingly angry. Wow, if I didn't know his quirk was explosions, I would have seriously thought intimidation could be it.
"I could just look it up." I said, ignoring his comment. He turned to me, stopping me with his cold glare.
"Shut up." Bokugo said, unusually calm. Okay... So maybe it was time to stop talking. How is it that when he's not screaming bloody murder he's scarier?
When we walked into homeroom class together the loud voices dropped, probably expecting McBlasty beside me to freak out.
Except when the voices started rising again, people kept starting. Especially Kuku, who was talking to Iida and Uararaka.
"WHAT ARE YOU LOSERS LOOKING AT!!" The boy beside me yelled. I snickered at how quickly he could change his moods, earning myself an annoyed look.
I went and sat down, waiting till Mr. Aizawa showed up. Within minuets he dragged his feet sluggishly into the classroom. He gave us all a once over before sighing loudly.
"Decent work on yesterday's combat training, you guys. I saw the video feeds and went over each of your teams results." Mr. Aizawa's monotonous voice giving no sight of emotion. "Bakugo, You're talented, so don't sulk like a child about your loss, okay."
"Ha." I laughed before I could control myself, gaining the attention of our teacher. Whoops.
"You, Bushida, can't control your reactions. You fight well, but a good fighter without logical reasoning outside of combat, makes for a poor hero." " He said, hurting my ego a bit. Hurtful, but fair.
"Also, Midoriya, I see the only way you won the match was by messing up your arm again. Work harder." He said, "And don't give me the excuse that you can't control it, it's already getting old. But your Quirk will be really useful if you get control over it. So show a little urgency."
Kuku smiled brightly at the compliment, nodding his head in agreement. He was just too adorable.
"Let's get down to business. Our first task will decide your future." Mr. Aizawa said, giving us all a shock. "You all need to pick a class representative." And in less than a second half the class was shouting out who to choose.
"Pick me, guys, I wanna be class rep."
"I'll take it."
"Yeah, you're gonna need me."
"Somebody with style would be best."
"I'm like totally the right pick."
Even if all of the extra work would be a great way to attract Pro Hero's and agencies, I know for a fact I'd start lacking in some other department. Not to mention It would cut into my binge watching time, And that's just not gonna work.
"Silence, everyone please!" Iida yelled bringing our attention to him. "The class representative's duty is to lead others. It's not something just anyone can do. You must first have the trust of every student in the classroom. Therefore, the most logical way to fill this position is democratically. We will hold an election to choose our leader!" Wow, this feels like America.
"Is this really the best idea?"
"We've only known each other a few days, how do we know who we can trust?"
"Beside's everyone'll just vote for themselves."
"Most people will." Iida said, "But that means whoever does receive multiple votes must truly be the most suitable person for the job."
He said all this before turning around facing Mr.Aizawa, who was now back in his yellow sleeping bag. "It's the best way! Right sir?"
"Do what you want, just decide when my naps over." Mr. Aizawa answered back, before slumping down and closing his eyes. Oh how I wish.
After the votes were all counted; Midoriya and the girl with high ponytail, who I learned was named Yaoyorozu, had the highest votes.
"Okay you idiots! Who voted for him?" Spikey yelled at us, standing up and making a scene.
"What?" The boy behind me asked. "Did you honestly think anyone was gonna vote for you?"
"Pfffttt..." I quickly brought my hand to my mouth, trying very hard not to laugh. Also hoping he hadn't heard me. But the side glance coming from the hot-head told me he did.
"Keep laughing and I'll kill you." He growled out through clenched teeth.
"Yeah, yeah..." I said rolling my eyes, finally catching my breath. However, when I looked back up at Kuku, he was shaking.
"All right, the class rep is Midoriya and our deputy is Yaoyorozu." Me. Aizawa said, stretching as he woke up. Still in his sleeping bag.
"Really, Uh. It's not a mistake?" Kuku asked, shaking as he did so. This may have been a mistake.
"How'd this happen?" Our deputy sighed.
After the election, we got ready for the no doubt boring regular classes. We had four regular learning classes in the morning. First math, then English, science, and lastly History. All of which, I sucked at.
The only reason I ever got good grades, was because I had to make myself study for hours. Right now Present Mic was teaching us English.
"ALRIGHT!" Our teacher said, "This month we are doing a super nifty English project, who's excited?!" There was a collective groan, for his answer. But he shook it off and continued on.
"I've already made a list of who's with who." Present mic brought our a piece of pepper, pointing to it with an exaggerated motion, "You and your partner will be writing an argumentative piece about a top hero!"
"You both need to write a piece but It will be graded collectively. Either one of you will have to write what's good about a hero, and what's some of their weaknesses."
He kept explaining as he passed out the papers telling us who we were with. I stared in excitement at the sight of McBlasty's name next to mine. I turned my head over and noticed he had burnt the paper.
"Well, guess you're stuck with me Hot-head." I teased, watching the way his hands shook in anger. "Are we meeting at your house or mine?"
"I'd rather die." He growled out. I smiled at his response and shook my head; arguing with him would be pretty easy.
"So we have, Present Mic..." I said reading over my paper. "Really?" Giving my teacher a disbelieving look.
"Show some respect, It's supposed to be the teachers in the school." Said Present Mic "you're just lucky enough to get me." He said, pointing to himself.
"Well okay then." I said, before I leaned back and looked at Izuku, who was shaking looking down at his paper.
"Uh, what are you doing?" I asked, he looked up startled, and started waving his hands around him.
"O-oh just looking at the person I got." He said, before looking toward Uraraka who was smiling at him, waving him over. I smirked at the scene and got closer to him.
"Oh, I see, so you got a little crush. Uh?" I asked, he blushed deeply and put his arm on his neck.
"N-no-oo." He stuttered. "That's not it at all."
"Mmmhm?" I said, sitting back and letting him go over to her.
"ARE YOU DONE TALKING WE HAVE AN ASSIGNMENT TO WORK ON!" The boy beside me yelled.
"YOU'RE THE ONE WHO SAID YOU WOULD WRATHER DIE." I screamed back matching his volume but not his anger.
"HEY, STOP YELLING." Present Mic yelled at us, ironically. Yellow hair bouncing as he said it.
Science and History were all normal, so was lunch. Where I sat with Kirishima.
"So, who'd you get for a partner? With English I mean." I asked him.
"I got paired with Cero." he said, pumping his fist. "and we have Vlad-king, and it's awesome! He's so manly."
"Isn't that class 1B's homeroom teacher?" I asked, he nodded his head in excitement. "Yeah, I got Spiky for a partner."
"Who?" he asked, scrunching his nose and raising his eyebrows.
"Oh, Bakugo. He's my partner, we are arguing over Present Mic." I told him, remembering that his nickname where mostly in my head.
"Yeah, Bakugo is intense, but his control on his Quirk is insane." he said, "I wish my quirk could be that useful." I hummed out my agreement, thinking of the many ways Blasty had used his Quirk.
"Not to mention he's hot." I mumbled under my breath. Not realizing I said that out loud.
"What?"
"What?"
"Brinnnggg" Saved by the bell. Or.. why is there a bell? "Warning: Level 3 security Breech. All students please evacuate the building in an orderly fashion."
"What's a level three breach?" He asked turning to me, I only shrugged my shoulders, looking for the exit sign.
"Come on, this should be the way." I grabbed his hand as I made my decision, but then started noticing everyone else was going this way too. "Wait, no, this is turning into a mob."
"Kirishima." Kaminari yelled. Who's name I also learned during the election this morning. His bright yellow hair easy to see through the crowded exit way. "Dude, I cant get out."
"We can't either! And I'm freaking out!" I yelled, my face smashing against two people at once. Both of the boys I was looking at were having the same problem. We couldn't get out, we were stuck. At the realization my breath stopped.
"Hold on Bushida!" Kirishima's voice some how making its way over the stampede. Using my quirk I strengthened my grip, still in his hand. He winced under me but didn't say anything. My on trying to breath, but when I did it was short and ragged.
"Guys," Kaminari yelled, reaching out again, clawing through more shoulders and elbows. At this moment I took his hand and tried to focus on anything except the way everything around me felt. Like the way I couldn't move freely, or the way the exit seemed to get farther and farther away. Especially not on the stinging I felt in my eyes as tears started to form.
"Kirishima, Hiroko, kiminari!" Iida's voiced reached out to us. But the other two couldn't hear him, they were too busy trying to calm down the others who were rushing. I looked over
As I focused on my breathing, I felt nauseous, loosing control over my Quirk, my hands no longer being as powerful. Another rush of students broke my grip of the both, sending me into an even worse state.
"It's ok, it's ok it's ok." I kept repeating to myself, over and over again. Searching for something to focus on, and not the impressinmet I'd been restricted too. It would all be fine. You can leave, you're not trapped. The exit is just a second or two away, then you'd be free.
"Uhggg, BACK OFF!" A familiar voice rung out. A very loud, very angered voice, but one I could focus on. Bakugo's face was distorted in anger, and looked absolutely annoyed to be surrounded by so many people. He was pushing against everyone, even sparkling off a couple of small explosions giving him a little more room than the rest of us.
"Katsuki, Katsuki." I said, as my trembling hands reached through the people around me. Making my way toward him. I finally reached him, and grabbed onto his arm using all the strength I had. He turned around, jaw clenched in anger, but his hardened look turned to confusion at the sight of me. I don't know what made him let me hang onto him, but the sheer terror I felt at the moment was going to keep me there.
Feeling his warmth underneath my grip
A flying Iida caught my eye, as I gripped onto Bakugo and breathed hard. The tears in my eyes hadn't spilled over but by now my lips were trembling. We were just above the exit sign as Iida landed, gripping onto the pipe above him.
"LISTEN UP, EVERYTHING IS OKAY." He yelled, stoping everyone.
"No no no no no no." I whispered out, trembling, I was so close to escaping. Still feeling everyone so close to me, still feeling that I was stuck.
"It's just the media outside. There's absolutely nothing to worry about. Everything's fine." He said "We're U.A students, we need stay calm and prove we were best of the best."
Even though I heard Iida, nothing of what he said registered to me. I could only see that everyone had stopped, that I could get through. I pushed away people, letting go of Bokugo. It was easier to walk through, now that utter panic was filled in everyone's heart, but it was still in mine. I had to get out, I couldn't be trapped again, I couldn't be locked away.
I finally reached to a hallway, away from everyone. Many other students had heard Iidas announcement stoping as well. My breath was still hard as I slid against the wall. Still trembling, still scared, still trapped. But you're not, you're fine. You can get up and walk freely, nothing to worry about. Breathe, focus on breathing.
And I did, I focused on taking a small breath in, and a small breath out. I kept doing so, nothing that my hands still shook, but the nausea was gone. This time I took a deep breath, letting my senses fill with peace. Before I could finally distinct the sound of police sirens.
I stood up from the wall, regaining myself, I wiped the forgotten tears off my face and smiled. I was fine, and I was free. But the still trembling of my fingers and lips told other wise.
With a new found peace, the entire school settled back down, walked back to their classes. I waited outside the big exit door, waiting till most of the students left till I walked through, still wary of breaking down again.
Nothings going to happen, you saw the police, and the problem has been dealt with. No more breaches, no more lockdowns, no more panicking.
"Hiroko," I heard someone call out from behind me, I turned and found Uraraka who had just helped Iida down from his perch. With Kuku standing beside them. "I saw you run out even after Iida's announcement, are you ok?"
"O-oh, I'm fine." I stuttered out, great, now there gonna think it's worse than it actually is. "Just a little scared ya know, I don't like being t-trapped."
"Like claustrophobia?" Kuku, asked, concern written on his face. I shook my head no, understanding the confusion.
"N-no, it would be more of a cl-cleithrophobia." I said causually , hoping they know it's not a big deal. Before I added on "B-but, it's not a phobia, just a fear."
"Yeah right." Bakugo scoffed out, coming up from who knows were. "You looked terrified; and pathetic." Thanks Spiky.
"What's cleithrophobia?" Uraraka asked. Bringing the topic back to what I very much didn't want to talk about.
"It means the fear of being trapped, commonly confused with claustrophobia. As you did before Midoriya." Iida said, answering diligently. Spiky rolled his eyes at the group and started walking off toward class, clearly annoyed by everyone. However when he started walking off, he brought his hand up to his left. Holding it tightly.
"Katsuki." I called again, chasing after him. Ignoring his odd behavior. "T-thanks, for back t-"
"Don't." he said, before quickening his pace, not letting me continue. I stared in shock as I watched him walk; exciting the lunchroom through the main entrance. Grimacing when he swung his left shoulder too much.
"C-come on g-guys, let's get to class." I said, as calmly as I could, to the people behind me. Ignoring my stutter, and my hands that were not done shaking, or the looks I got from my friends, I continued on to home room.
When entering the class, I immediately headed to my seat. Not looking at the boy sitting beside me. A minuet later both Kaminari and Kirishima came up to my desk.
"Hiroko, are you okay? You looked pretty scared back there." Kirishima asked awkwardly. I looked up to him noticing how he looked concerned. I forcibly smiled, however knowing it didn't reach my eyes.
"Y-yeah, I'm fine." I said, I cringed at my stutter and looked down at my desk. Wishing they would leave, or at least change the subject. I didn't like
"Oh, ok well we were just worried ya know." Kaminari said, not really taking my hint. "I'd been pretty scared too, but when you held onto us like that I noticed it might not have been for the same reason."
I finally looks up at him confused. I know I held onto them and I was pretty numb to most of what I had been doing but the fact they noticed was bizarre. He took note of my features and brought up his hand, showing the slightly swelling finger marks on his writs.
Kirishima did the same, having similar bruises on his hand. My eyes widened realizing just how much control I lost on my Quirk. I brought my hands to my mouth, not letting them see the way my lips trembled. Your fear got someone hurt, how can you be a hero if you can't get over it? Well I'm not doing it on purpose, I told my inner voice.
I looked over at Blasty, he looked seriously annoyed, but was still holding his arm. I instantly realized what had happened. Both boys went back to their seat and I tuned out my classmates. Only reliving what had happened today, and what happened in America. Only Iida standing up and yelling about something caught my attention. Pulling me from my apparent numbness.
"If Midoriya is nominating next for this Job, then I humbly except." He said, easing his hand eye. Wait.. what job? "I plan to carry out the duties of class rep to the best of my abilities."
After his outburst, I noticed how truly happy Kuku looked at his proclamation. I shrugged, agreeing to the new update. I sighed, definitely grateful for the distraction.
Class carried on as usual, pronouncing people with different classroom roles. I spaced out again, not getting any part of what was happening. I didn't get a class job, or at least I don't think I did, again I wasn't paying attention.
The final bell rang after what felt like the longest class this year. We didn't do actual hero training so we sat there with an ongoing lecture.
Getting up to make my way out the door when Mr. Aizawa used his scarf to shut the door. Wrapping it's gray material around the handle, slamming against the frame. We all looked to him, wondering why he was trying to keep us here longer, when in fact we knew he wished to leave more than us.
"A new student will be here tomorrow, and usually I would expel him for being late.." Our teacher's dead gaze told us very much that he would. "But Principal Nezu has declared he must stay for at least a week, and I think I could find a more entertaining punishment."
The usually dead or at the very least exhausted look on our teacher had turned to his even more terrifying smile. Oh help the poor boy. New Student tomorrow and a new project to work on.

"Hiroko." My sister called from the kitchen. I cringed, hoping she wasn't gonna talk about yesterday. I had gone home, still feeling shaken from school, but I thought I'd been better. I had stopped my stuttering and I was no longer trembling.
"Hey Lilly, what's up?" I asked, casually siting on the chairs to our breakfast island. She turned to me, disbelief clearly sleeping through.
"Don't give me that, i heard you crying last night." She said, putting down a cereal bowl in front of me. I tried to grab it but she pulled away from my hands. "What happened, did you have another nightmare?" Her eyes showed concern, knowing she was right.
"I-I'm fine, yesterday, I just had a small flashback, it's cool." I shook my head reassuringly. I smiled at her and took back the cereal, she scrunched her eyes again. Staring at me, trying to see through my obvious lie.
"Fine, you don't want to tell me don't, but next time you want food and you have to ask me, I'll remind you about the time you lied to me." She didn't pester any further, only declaring my restriction from food. I gasped, dramatically putting my hand over my heart.
"You hurt me."
Even though she didn't make me talk about yesterday, the car ride was still awkward. Our usual flow not as lively.
Homeroom was normal, the new student came, much of a disappointment if I do say so my self. He was 3 feet tall, with purple balls on his head. Apparently it was connected to his quirk, not to sound shallow, I was hoping to get somebody cute. I guess I'll have to do with McBlasty.
Math passed by: Boring, but easy. With English starting off with our normal practices, but with the new project Present Mic let us have 20 minuets to talk with our partners.
My partner in question was actually calm for once. His eyes downcast to the paper he had been taking notes on, apparently he had started yesterday. He was reading over what he had written, and I'm sure I was supposed to be doing the same.
Except I couldn't look away at how peaceful Katsuki looked. The way he bit down on his pencil, a habit I hadn't expected from him, showed his concentration. Not only that, but his eyes which were usually angry and hard, lacked their usual tendencies. Now they were focused, but lacked no determination.
He must have felt my staring because he turned my way, and the eyes I had just been admiring went back to their usual glares.
"Are you going to work on our project Stripes, or are you still shaking in your boots from yesterday?" He asked, narrowing his eyes at me. I blushed deeply ignoring his Insult.
"You know, you're actually really pretty when your calm." I told him honestly, not realizing what I had just said. He gave me another hard look but went back to reading his paper. And this time instead of staring I actually got out my phone and tarted looking toward Present Mic fanClubs.
We didn't talk through Science and most of History, and we would have continued with our silence if he didn't growl out when handing Kuku an assignment.
"Are you ok Kacchan?" Izuku asked, noticing the way Boom-Boom was holding his arm. It was the same one as yesterday, don't tell me he didn't get it treated.
"You think I can't handle pain, nerd?" Katsuki growled, not even turning around, "I'm not a wimp like you." His nose was scrunched in pain, clearly he was trying hard to make it seem like no big deal.
I rolled my eyes and waited for the bell to ring for lunch. I'd have to deal with him, and apologize. The minuet History ended my class all jumped up ready to eat. Everyone else filed out of the room, but I went to the right and waited for a certain hot-head.
When I saw the only student not wearing a tie, I grabbed onto his right shoulder, knowing well that if I touched the other one it hurt him. Except I hadn't anticipated his fats reflexes, the moment I touched him, he grabbed my wrist and attempted to throw me against the wall. But his injured arm restricted his movements, making him slow enough for me to enhance my strength. So when my body hit the wall, it wouldn't leave me breathless, but gave me a moment to put my free hand on his bruised shoulder.
My eyes turned a deep blue, creating the energy I use, and powering it to Blasty. He seemed to feel the new strength and understood what it meant. The night we partnered for the battle against Kuku and Uraraka, I studied nitroglycerin and the bodies natural tendencies against explosions, sweat, and Quirk revolving around each. Finding ways to improve his Quirk.
Even now that I had the Upper-hand, Bakugo still flared at me. I released my quirk and brought my hand back down, letting him know I wasn't going to be a problem. He notice my shift in demeanor and loosened his grip, but still had his hand on my with my back against the wall.
"Your arm." I said, looking down at the unnatural way it sat. "It's injured, why didn't you get it treated?" I was concerned and guilty, if I hadn't freaked out yesterday, he would have been fine.
"Like I Said, I'm not a wimp, I can take pain." He growled, but it lacked his usual fire, he wasn't doing as well as he put on.
"Even Pros go to the Hospital Katsuki." I told him lowly. I knew if I tried to force it on him, he wouldn't listen. "And I wanted to say sorry, I wasn't feeling great yesterday."
He scoffed but let me go, I rolled my eyes at his annoyance but again I don't want to push anything. "Don't try to protect me, I don't need your help." He said darkly, before turning and walking strait ahead.
"I was also wondering if you wanted to meet up for the project. We could go to my house to study, or yours if that's more comfortable." I asked cautiously, changing the subject.
"Fine I know a place," he said, again not looking at me. "I'm busy tonight, I'll tell you the details tomorrow." And with that he walked off leaving me. What if I was busy tomorrow? Ever think of that Blasty-Boy?
MWAHAHAHAHAHA. You all thought you could get away without Mineta. Well you where wrong... Anyway, I hope you like it. And I know you all are probably wondering, "What about the SJO?" And then I was like "Shut up and read the story." Because it's gonna happen, I just thought that it was day after day ya know. Ok... byeeee. Thx for reading.
