Disclaimer: I own Hiroko. Not really anything else

Lolol, I forgot it was called the USJ not the SJO, my bad guys. I'm sorrryyyy I'm so bad at updating, please don't hate me. And I've tried so hard to update the summery but it won't change. It's supposed to be UA, not AU.

USJ

"I'll be back later tonight I have a project I'm going to be working on," I told Lilly while facing the window. She only nodded her head and looked back at me.

"When will you be back?" She asked, turning to the road. We had five minutes till we got to school, and this time I wasn't going to be late.

"I don't know, Blasty didn't even tell me where we were going. How should I know when we'll be back." I told her absent-minded.

"And who's "Blasty"?" She asked slyly. A smirk tugged at her lips as I kept my face from turning red, or so I hoped.

"Eh, just the loudest and angry boy I've ever met." I said, " I mean it's barely been a week and I can tell he's bad news." she raised her eyebrow at me. I tried to not give any more detail, but the more she smirked the more I squirmed. God, I was terrible at this. I didn't need her to bug me about him.

"And yet you've already given him a nickname, last time I checked that's how your whole stalker crushes start." she joked. I scrunched my nose in disbelief, knowing full well that she was exaggerating.

"First of all, " I started, pointing my finger in her face for dramatic effect. " I watch from a safe and comfortable distance to enjoy their beautiful faces. Which by the way is perfectly normal."

Holding out the number two I continued." Second, social media stalking isn't actually stalking because everyone does it. Last And certainly not least, I do not have a crush on Katskui. He hates me and I just appreciate his face the most when it's scowling in rage. Thank-you-very-much." I gasped loudly, ending my rant.

She gave me a disbelieving look before continuing.

"If he hates you so much he probably didn't tell you where you're going cause he's just gonna dump you somewhere and get rid of the body."

"Oh my God, he's gonna kill me." I frantically cried. "oh sister of mine, I'm going to die. Please don't make me go I grasped my heart dramatically.

"Stop being dramatic, you're fine" she deadpanned, but a soft smile played on her lips. "Just call me when you figure it out"

On the way to the classroom, I passed the cafeteria. I cringed as I noticed the same hallway we had gotten "trapped" in. The way the walls turned black shifting from one nightmare to another, had me standing still.

"Hiroko, wait up." A voice called, pulling me from my flashback. I turned around to see Kirishima with Mina by his side.

"Oh hey Kirishima, Mina," I called back, thanking his call for bringing me back to reality. Stepping in pace with them I walked next to Mina, making her stand just a bit closer to Kirishima I smirked wickedly when I saw a slight blush on the boy's face, his rosy cheeks complementing his toothy smile.

"So who'd you get paired up with for the English project?" She asked, looking at me with her black and yellow eyes. They would have been unsettling if they hadn't looked so excited.

"Oh me and Spikey-boy are doing the assignment on Present Mic," I answered her, she laughed in response to his nickname.

"Present Mic is a bit egotistical huh?" Kirishima asked, I nodded along.

"Who's your partner?" I asked.

"We got paired together." Mina answered nonchalantly. Kirishima smiled in agreement before turning into another corner.

We talked our way to class (mostly about the project) and waited for further instruction once sitting in our assigned seats.

After Lunch finally came our hero course. I still hadn't gotten any information about where we would study from Blasty, he only answered with a growl and a "shut up and stop asking questions".

Aizawa walked in lazily just a few moments after we all were seated, but evidently, today was not a time for slacking off. As soon as the bell rang, signifying the start of school, his dead eyes focused on our class.

"Today's training will be different." He started, "You will have three instructors. Me, All Might, and one other faculty member will be keeping tabs on you."

Three pros? Is it because of the brake in? That happened two days ago, didn't they solve it? I looked back at Kuku wondering what he would think. He had his nose scrunched in thought and muttering aloud.

"Sir, what kind of training is this," Sero yelled from behind me. The class nodded in agreement.

"Rescue," Aizawa told us "You'll be dealing with natural disasters, shipwrecks, and stuff like that." I considered the Well this should be a lot easier to handle than McBlasty and his never-ending rage.

"Disasters huh, sounds like we're in for a big workout," Kaminari said from beside me. Mina started bobbing her head up and down excitedly before yelling out her agreement.

"I wonder if we'll be saving robots." I inputted, again Mina nodded. "Or we could be helping each other."

"Real hero stuff," Kirishima added, putting his head up with his hands. "This is what separates the men from the boys. I'm shaken with excitement."

"Guys," Aizawa said, bringing our attention back to him. "I'm not finished yet." And with that, there was another collective gasp." What you wear in this exercise is up to you. I know you're excited about costumes.

"But keep in mind that you haven't gotten used to it so it might limit your abilities. That's all, start getting ready."

With more information, We learned that we had to take a bus to get to our training facility, and we only had 10 minutes to change.

All of us rushed out as quickly as we could, most of the girls taking the whole ten minutes due to the skin-tight full bodysuits. But once again Mina and I agreed that it was worth it, especially because we killed it in these hero costumes.

"I'm so excited!" She yelled excitedly while pumping her fist in the air. We joked our way to the bus: Stopping when we were with the rest of the class.

"I know right! I'm just wondering how it's going to work." I answered with the same level of enthusiasm. The nice weather and idea of hero trading had my heart pumping faster than normal.

"It's gonna be so cool." She wiggled her body in a dance-like movement, smiling broadly. "Oh," she proclaimed again, stopping and turning to face me fully. "You wanna sit with me on the way to the training?"

Before I could confirm, a shrill whistle brought our attention to Iida, who was standing in front of the buses

"Listen up Class 1-A." he yelled out, "Using your student numbers form two neat lines so we can load the bus efficiently." he whistled again and continued to do so irritatingly.

"Sorry, but maybe if we can choose partners I'd love to be yours." I told her genuinely. She smiled broadly again before walking off to get in line on the bus.

"Okay girly." She called, settling next to a blonde boy with a sparkly cape. Following her lead, I counted off my number and got in line behind a boy with 6 arms.

"Dang," I started before I could stop myself, "your muscles are awesome, and that mask you wear is super cool. It's mysterious." My face got work from my admiration, but I couldn't help myself from fangirling.

He looked at me before being his arms out, a mouth formed from his hand-like- tentacle thing.

"Um, thanks."

I stepped back, scared at of my mind. I looked back at his eyes then his "mouth" before noting that this was definitely something I would have to get used to.

"No problem, but what exactly is your quirk?" I asked, realizing that my staring was probably really rude.

"Duplicate arms, on each of my tentacles I can make it into an enhanced body part." He spoke again using his tentacle. I nodded my head in understanding, before changing my face to smile once again.

"Huh, that's actually way cooler than I thought," I told him, noticing the way he seemed to relax a little more as I complimented him once again. "I just assumed it was 6 arms, but that wouldn't make sense with the mouth on the hand thing."

"Yeah, I get that a lot." He said, crossing his arms and turning fully to me, but before he could say something else. Iida's whistle sounded again.

"The busses open layout ruined my boarding strategy." he spoke, his head in his hands. I nodded my head in agreement, because of the extra (grape boy) student, one of us had to sit on the floor due to the lack of seats. I offered because I truly didn't care, but instantly regretted it because of the bumpy ride. I blame the bus driver.

"Iida, you really need to chill." My new pink friend commented.

"If we are pointing out the obvious, then there is something I wanted to say." The green girl turned to Kuku sitting next to her. "about you actually" his eyes shrunk and a blush formed.

Either this boy likes every girl in this class, or he needs a little more time with the opposite gender. Cause this is seriously throwing off my ship game.

"About me? What is it Ausi?"

"I told you to call me Tsuyu." her raspy yet soft voice threw back.

"Oh, yeah right." Where I was sitting, beside Kiminari in the middle, I could see he was blushing even worse.

"That power of yours. Isn't it a lot like All Mights?"

I gasped in shock at the revelation, cause it truly was like All Mights. Well except for the fact that he got hurt every time he used it, but the immense power behind it was definitely similar to the number one hero.

"Really?" Kuku's blush subsided and an entirely new nervousness replayed it. From her or the accusation, I couldn't tell "You think so huh? I hadn't really thought about that. I guess it's kinda..." he continued to ramble, like normal, before Kirishima interrupted.

"Wait hold on Tsuyu, you're forgetting All Might doesn't hurt himself. That makes a huge difference."

Before I could add on to that, the bus driver made a sharp right turn, sending my body sliding to the right. I gripped onto the orange pole that was connected to the dividers, as the turn was pulling on my body. When we went straight again Kirishima looked at me worried before I smiled up at him, readjusting to my new "seat"

"Still I bet it's cool to have a simple augmenting- type a' quirk." He said, continuing on as before. "You can do a lot of flashy stuff with it."

He activated his quirk on his arm, in an instant his flesh became visibly different, with jagged spikes sticking out from his elbow down. "My hardening is super strong and can destroy bad guys in a fight, but it doesn't look all that impressive."

"Oh, no way," Kuku answered him, taking the words right out of my mouth. " I think it's really awesome looking."

"Yeah, and who cares if it's not as flashy. " I told him. "You have armor that can take the form of rock, that's seriously cool."

"You're definitely pro material with a quirk like that," Kuku added on, examining closely the outstretched arm.

"You really think so?" He asked, I nodded but he was still looking at his rock-like skin. "Seems easier to be a popular hero if had somethin' flashier."

"My navel laser's got the perfect combination of panache and strength." The boy sitting next to Mina interjected. Starting off with a kinda creepy smile.

"Yeah but it's way lame if it makes your stomach hurt sweetie," Mina said, putting a hand on his shoulder.

"Well if any of our classmates have pro Quirks, it's Todoroki and Bakugo," Kirishima added in, complementing the usually yelling boy.

"And the way he uses his powers, not only for bombs but for propelling himself forward and smoking out the enemy is actually genius," I said subconsciously, remembering the way he fought as my partner just a couple of days ago.

I got a couple of nods in agreement, but everyone but Kuku looked astonished at my complement.

"Sure, but you're always arguing with him, so even you can admit that because he's always angry, he won't ever be popular. " Tsuyu rebutted. I snorted and her honesty as I nodded my head in slight agreement.

"WHAT DID YOU SAY, ILL KICK YOUR BUTT." The boy came over and yelled angrily. I looked up above me and saw his slaked jaw and thought about how he could be popular.

"See." The frog girl's voice directed at me.

"Ah but if I may." I said, interjecting again "girls might like him cause he's cute." Instantly the boy above me looked down with a disgusted and confused look.

"Well, until he opens his mouth that is." I smiled innocently as I looked him straight in the eye. Noticing the way they went from confused to slits of anger. Oh no, I probably went overboard, he's probably going to kill me. GoodBy sweet life, for I, will miss thee.

"Ya know, we basically just met you." A voice brought both our heads to the right, looking to Kiminari as the source of the voice. "So it's kinda telling that we all know your personality is flaming crap mixed with garbage."

"YOU'RE GONNA REGRET THE DAY YOU APPLIED TO THIS SCHOOL YOU LOSER," Bokugo yelled again. With that, I sighed a breath of relief, as much as I challenged him I knew he could take me, especially with his vantage point. But not for long, soon I'll get better than him.

Of course, you will, if you stop watching so much tv and actually train again.

Excuse me brain, I didn't ask.

"AND ILL SPLATTER YOUR GUSTS AGAINST THE BUS WALL IF YOU SAY ANOTHER THING" Blasty yelled, bringing his attention back to me.

"Hey!" I screamed back, " I Happen to like my guts where they're at. Thank you."

You're dumb, you just got him off your back.

Alright, I'll take that.

A low growl rumbled through his chest as his teeth clenched. He quickly used his hands to push himself over the railing, landing over me. Instinctively I jumped up, putting my right foot in between his. Not enough for him to notice, but in case he made an action, I'd be able to make a counter-attack before he got too physical.

Even though I wanted to sit back down and not even attempt to fight him, my years of training had my muscle memory doing otherwise. I stared strait into his eyes and put up a front to mask my obvious fear of this situation.

His jaw was tight and his blazing red eyes were calculating. All of which made him look even more hot. Uh, no. Intimidating. I was thinking intimidating.

You can't lie to yourself. Even though it's weird that you decide to make your brain a "speaking" thing to interact with.

Well I find this funny.

I find it funny that you're probably just insane.

Go back to whatever deep subconscious whole you came from so I can concentrate on the boy who's probably gonna fry me. I shifted my focus back to the boy in front of me and nervously laughed.

"And what are you laughing at nerd?" He questioned, grabbing my costume and twisting the fabric, bringing me closer to him.

"Cause you're pretty and scary at the same time."

He loosened his grip and threw me back. I slid back on the bus before it made another sharp turn. I fell to my butt and secretly cursed the bus driver again. I can't believe that worked.

"Hey, we're here." Mr. Aizawl said, turning to us. "Bushida, get off the floor and stop messing around."

"Wha... I didn't." I looked at him in disbelief, because clearly me falling to my butt and almost dying to the hands of Blasty-Blasty-boom boom was not me "messing around".

"Yes sir," I said despite my annoyance. We all quickly filed out of the bus, walking toward an enormous building shaped in a dome.

I turned my head and searched for Mina, but saw that she was talking to Kirishima. I let them have their moment and went to Uraraka instead.

"Hey, Uraraka!" I called to her. She looked up and smiled at me, then tried to hold in her laugh by putting her hand over her mouth.

"Pfttt." She laughed, "You and Bokugo are always yelling at each other, do you guys hate each other already?"

"Nope. Well, he might hate me, But I just like messing with him." I told her.

"But he looks so scary, especially when he's angry." She whispered to me. I looked over my shoulder to see Blasty scowling at a who knows what and chuckled.

"Yea, he definitely is scary, but in an almost hilarious way. Especially the way he's always growling and scowling.

She looked back to where I saw him and giggled.

"Ok, I can agree, but still. He always looks like he wants to kill you." She was still laughing as we walked into the dome.

Before we could enter all the way, however, a very noticeable hero approached us. 13, they called her. With her quirk being a black hole, that sucks up everything in its wake, her spacesuit made the perfect hero suit.

Hello everyone," A woman in a spacesuit said. " I've been eating for you."

Gasping in excitement I turned to Uraraka.

"I love 13, her use of her quirk for saving people is so controlled."

"I know!" She whispered back excitedly, "this is going to be awesome."

13 moved back allowing all of us to walk in. It was huge. The first entrance brought a walkway that went throughout the entire building. We overlooked a fountain in the middle, and what looked like different arenas? Each arena had a different type of ecosystem. With mountains to one side, water and ships to another. While different domes were also placed amongst the areas.

"Holy crap," Kirishima called out. "It looks like some kind of amusement park!" Smiling back at him, I couldn't help but feel just as excited. Even though I had trained hard in combat, I secretly wanted to be a rescue hero. Saving people instead of fighting villains was more my speed, so this training was looking to be just what I wanted.

"A shipwreck. A landslide. A fire. A windstorm. Et cetera." 13 proudly called out, naming each area. Her back facing us as she observed her well thought out training area. "I created this training facility to prepare you to deal with different kinds of disasters."

"I call it the unforeseen, simulation, joint. But you can call it U.S.J." She turned around again, and even though we couldn't see her face the way she held herself told us she was pleased with the building.

"This is awesome!" Mina said, her first pumped into the air. "We are so gonna rock this."

"Like I said, this is gonna..." Kirishima started talking but my ear started to ring as my hearing started to focus on something else. When I was younger my hearing was always the strongest physical enhancement I had. It took little to no effort to understand and to this day it messes up without my full control. I usually can turn it off and pay attention to what's going on again in seconds, but the conversation I was focusing on was interesting.

"Hey, shouldn't All Might be here already?" An uninterested voice asked. Wait, this is about All Might? "Lemme guess, he booked an interview instead."

"Actually, it's something else." A more distant voice said, like it was being blocked. I turned to look toward my teachers, wanting to tell them of the conversationalist topic, just in case it brought harm to the hero, before 13 brought her fingers up.

That's when I realized they were the once's talking. How didn't I recognize Mr. Aizawas's voice? Probably because he's not screaming at me.

Ooo but isn't it wrong if I listen to their conversation? Yeah but technically if they wanted their conversation to be private they could have gone somewhere else or covered their hands over their mouths, but since they're in a public space and Mr. Aizawa is making no show of wanting to be private I can legally use this is a court of law.

How did I even know that? No wait... it was on a TV show. The one with the detective that could read lips.

"Apparently he did too much hero work on his way to school this morning and used up all his powers." She told him. "He's resting in the teachers' lounge"

I sucked in a breath of air, probably catching the attention of the people around me. But I wasn't thinking about that, all I cared about was what she said. Does all Might have a limit with his powers?

"That man is the height of irresponsibility." Our teacher responded like it was a recurring issue. So he knows? Does he know that All Might can't use his powers too much? Has it always been that way?

A hand waved in my face bringing my attention back to Uraraka, and she looked worried. I brought my hearing back to normal and focused on her.

"Are you okay? You've been staring at Mr. Aizawa and 13 without responding." She said. "Not to mention your eyes were purple." Her soft voice was laced in concern and I knew I probably looked terrified.

All Might's situation was giving me an awful feeling. Especially because everyone around the world has seen him battle it out with a villain for hours at a time. So being able to use all of it within a short time from this morning, means that this power limit hasn't always been this way.

"Sorry.. um. It's uh." I took a second to breathe before actually speaking clearly. "I just got lost in thought, thanks for the concern."

"The clock's ticking. We should get started." Mr. Aizawa declared.

"Excellent." 13's perky voice resonated through her suit. "Before we begin, let me just say one thing. Well, maybe two things. Possibly three, four, or five."

Okay... we get it.

"Listen carefully. I'm sure you're aware that I have a powerful quirk. It called Black Hole I can use it to suck up anything and turn it into dust"

"Yeah," Kuku said, getting excited. "Yeah, you've used Black Hole to save people."

Uraraka's head nodded very quickly, to the point that looking at her made my head hurt.

"Girl, your head is going to snap off," I told her. When she stopped shaking she only looked excited.

"But I love 13, she's my absolute favorite."

"Yeah, she is pretty cool," I whispered it quietly before turning my attention back on the pro hero.

"My Quirk could also be very easily used to kill." 13 said, "some of you also have powers that can be very dangerous."

Yeah, when I was training with my karate and eventually Jitsu, my senseis would always tell us that what we learn could always be used for danger, either with our quirks, or the techniques we learned in those classes.

"In our superhuman society, all quirks are certified and strictly regulated. So we often how unsafe they can actually be. Please don't forget that if you lose focus or make the wrong move, your powers can be deadly. Even when you're trying to do something virtuous."

as she was scolding us I remembered when my powers cause some worry. Wait is she scolding? Reminding? Forewarning? Fine, when she was forewarning us about the dangers of our powers I remembered something.

When I was little, I was once being picked up by my aunt, whose quirk could put herself to sleep and the people around her by physical contact. Needless to say my enhancement spiked and her quirk along with it. Both of us were in a coma for a day straight. Scared the crap out of my parents, but it was actually quite refreshing.

"Thanks to Aizawa's fitness tests, you have a solid idea of your Quirk's potential." 13 stood her ground as she told us, an air of confidence and pride resonating through her and unto us. "And with All Might's combat training, you likely experienced how deadly your powers can be when used against other people.

"Carry those lessons over to this class. Today, you are going to learn how to use your Quirks to save peoples' lives.

"You won't be using your powers to attack enemies or each other, only to help."

"After all." She said, changing her powerful words to reassuring ones. "That's what being a hero is all about. Ensuring the safety of others."

"And that's all I have to say." She bowed before us, looking at the ground as she said one more thing. "Thank you so much for listening."

The inspiring words definitely encouraged and well, inspired us to do our best. We clasped for her and cheered.

"Right." Mr. Aizawa called from his self-appointed corner, he pointed to the arena(?) as a flicking began throughout the USJ. "Now that that's over..."

He trailed off and the fountain in the center started turning off and on. A shadowy circle began to swish and turn into existence. What is imagine a black hole to look like, but 13 wasn't even looking that way.

The hole began expanding until it flickered like a flame across the ground. I noticed that for mere seconds it seemed to gain yellow specs and almost assembled into a creature before flowing back down to its fire like wall. It was like was staring into absolute nothingness.

I switched my focus to Aizawa, his stance going from his usually relaxed state, to this now on edge ready to pounce movement.

I tugged gently on Izuku's sleeve and he nodded his head in a secret agreement. Whatever this was, it wasn't what was planned today. My eyes won't strait back to the showdown invading the grounds at the bottom of the stairs, a figure reached through the nothingness as they stepped into existence as well.

"Stay together and don't move." Mr. Aizawa's tone told me I was right. "Thirteen. protect the students."

"Mr. Aizawa," I yelled before I could stop myself, bringing my leg towards pro in a guarded stance.

"Stay back Bushida." He was serious as he put his goggles on, not looking over his shoulder. "This is real, and those are villains. So this time I need you to think with your heads and not with your quirks."

I nodded my head but didn't move my feet. If this was real then I'd listen to my teacher, but I wouldn't let my guard down. Even if I was scared, this is what a hero did, protected both offense and defense. And today, it looks like we were defense.

I'm sorry, I swear I shall never be a professional writer. I procrastinate so much. Okay, please tell me what you think. I always get worried that I've messed up characters or I've steered fro their personalities so if you have any advice is love to hear it.
