Guysssss I'm now in season 2. OooOoOOOooo i'm getting excited!

-(Awake and Very Confused) -

I heard soft voices as I regained consciousness. Even though I still felt tired, I tried opening my eyes, wanting to know where I was.

Darkness greeted me when my eyes finally listened to my brain's command. I inhaled sharply, feeling like I had lost my control on breathing.

"No no no no." I started, my body shaking from fear or exhaustion, probably both. I reached out quickly, praying I wasn't back in that cold metal room. I tried to sit up but I was being constricted by something, and I felt my fear rising.

"It's okay, child." An elderly woman's voice called out from the darkness. " No need to worry, you're in the nurse's office at U.A." Her words brought me some comfort as I started to feel around me, more specifically the bed I was laying on. The blankets had been restricting my movements, along with the bandages on my wounds.

"B-But why can't I see?" I asked, trembling with the idea of losing my sight. I mean, I had injuries, sure, but none of them had affected my eyes. Or at least, none of them should have.

" Your over exertion of your quirk resulted in your eyes being dilated." She said, her soft hands running against my arm, which reminded me of my grandmother, calming slightly. " We wrapped them, so when you woke up you wouldn't damage your eyes. You'll be able to see once and adjust once you've been awake and ready for at least 20 minutes."

I nodded my head as if agreeing, but wasn't exactly sure of her logic.

"You're safe now Hiroko." Kuku's voice distracted me from my thoughts, and I brought my head toward the direction of his voice. The covers stopped me from moving, so I calmly untucked them and began to sit up.

" You're here too Kuku?" I questioned, but before he could answer, a slam from a door shocked me into jumping. "Ow." I breathed out, the jump letting me feel every sore muscle and injury in my body.

"Excuse me." said a masculine voice, coming from the direction of the noise. "Hi, All Might. Been a while."

All Might's here too?

"What the heck." he yelled in surprise, fabric ruffled and shifted as he continued speaking. "I didn't know that you were investigating." His voice didn't carry it's usual deep tombre, but I wondered if the usual loud tone was for his heroics and his heroic times only.

"Whoa, All Might." Kuku said, "It's ok if he's seeing you like this?"

"What's wrong with All Might?" I asked worriedly. Maybe something happened and that's why he sounded different. The room got quiet, and Kuku gasped under his breath before stuttering out a response.

"N-noth-thing. He is." He paused for a moment before continuing , "Shirtless. Yeah, he's shirtless." Kuku, you were a bad liar when we were five, and a bad liar now. I didn't call him out, but made sure to express that I didn't believe him, with the remainder of my features not covered in bandages.

"Oh yeah, he's my best friend on the police force" All Might said, answering Kuku's question from before. "Naomasa Tsukauchi." I nodded my head, trying to understand the incoming information All Might was giving me.

The police were on the case, investigating the villains' moves. I wonder if they had seen these groups before, or if this was the first time they'd attacked. I'd never heard

"That's quite the introduction." Tsukauchi said, his voice getting closer as his steps sounded on the floor. "Sorry to cut to the chase. But we could really use any extra information you might have."

"Hold on. Before all that." My teacher said, sheets and fabric shifting against each other once again. I questioned the sound but didn't think much of it. "Tell me all the students are okay. And Aizawa - er, Eraser head. And Thirteen."

I gasped softly, feeling guilty that I hadn't thought of anyone else the entirety of being awake. I quickly became nervous for my classmates and teachers, waiting for the man's response.

"Not counting these two in here, the only student injuries were scrapes." He said, and a small weight on my chest lifted. Mr. Aizawa being one of my main concerns, especially after seeing him there, and leaving to try and help All Might. "And both of the teachers are in stable conditions right now."

We all simultaneously sighed in relief. I looked towards Kuku's voice and laughed, stress leaving my body again.

"If you hero hadn't risked your lives, the students would never have made it." The man said, talking to All Might. "You three saved that entire class of kids today."

"You're not seeing the whole picture, Tsukauchi." All Might answered his police friend, "The students also risked their lives. They fought as hard as us."

I nodded my head in agreement, knowing that if it hadn't been for Todoroki, I would have ended up way worse than I was. Even Bakublast and Kirishima were fighting against those two villains All Might had faced.

"Thank you, All Might." Kuku said in awe. I smiled at his voice, liking how it reminded me when we were younger. Ew, I just sounded super old.

Because you are old.

Welcome back, my brain. Nice to see you show up when I don't need you. Ya know, after the fight.

"I don't think there's ever been a group of first-years who experienced a real fight like this so early in their training." All Might continued on, bringing me from my thoughts. "They not only survived, they learned what it means to be a pro." Pride swelled through my heart but I tried to shove it down when he continued again. "Those villains made a mistake attacking them. This class is strong. They're filled with courage, and drive. Mark my words they'll become great heroes."

I breathed out a quiet laugh, remembering how awful he was with talking with us before. Having to use flash cards, just to teach. I sighed, recounting the events of today. I wonder what Lilly would say when I told her.

I gasped suddenly, scaring the people in the room with me.

" Oh no." I said, dread filling my mind. "This is going to go world wide isn't it?" I asked no one in particular. I heard audible sounds of agreement before I groaned and carefully leaned back into my bed. "That means my Dad's gonna hear about it, even worse, my grandma."

"We can assure them that U.A. is perfectly safe. You'll be coming back to school the day after tomorrow." Said the elderly woman. " Though, you will have to go home with your broken ankle. I couldn't do much healing with your exhaustion but I got the smaller injuries and patched up the larger one, so we'll have to give you another check up when you come back."

I gave her a confused and probably annoyed look, which in return she grabbed my non-injured cheek.

"If you give elders those facers, it'll be stuck like that." I heard laughter behind her and I wanted to glare at them, but once again I felt the wraps around my eyes, constricting my facial expressions. Not to mention her hand.

"I'm sorry, but you don't understand." I started, trying to convey to her how badly my family would react to my injuries. "My dad didn't even want to send me here in the first place."

"Oh hush child. You think I haven't dealt with overprotective fathers in my line of work?" She asked, taking her hands off my now sore cheek.

"I-" I breathed in a sigh, not feeling up for the argument I was clearly going to lose. "Ok, but, wait, you said you couldn't heal me cause I was too tired. Does that mean you have a healing quirk? And it revolve around… energy?"

"Well, I am Recovery Girl." She said as if I could tell.

"Wow," I said, getting over my slight attitude. "I knew they had famous pro's here, but I didn't realize they even had one for a nurse."

"Every faculty member is." She informed me. I nodded my head, and was about to ask another question before Tsukauchi interrupted.

"Well All Might, once you're ready, come down to the police station so we can get any more information." he said. All Might responded with an agreement and told him goodbye. I listened once again as his shoes softly hit the floor, until the sound descended through the hall.

"Well, I've bothered you enough, and I'm sure you kids need your rest." All Might added as well, sheets ruffling again, and a small creek was heard.

"But All Might, you need to stay ." Kuku said, and I was thrown off by the worried tone he had used. I knew the teacher wasn't just here to say hello. He must have been exhausted and maybe even wounded back there.

"Yeah," I agreed, trying to help my friend with whatever he was trying to accomplish. " I'm a huge fan, so even being in your presence is enough to make me feel better." I blushed at my blatant honesty, but it seemed to work when I heard a small creek coming from ahead of me.

"All Right, but only because All Might love's to meet his fans." I didn't entirely believe him when he said so, considering the sigh of relief that I heard as he said it.

"So, I can't really see right now, so what time is it?" i asked, beginning to wonder what happened after i had passed out. "And, what happened after I uh…"

"The rest of the Pro hero's came down and started collecting the Villains." Kuku said, sounding excited. "It was so cool. I've never seen so many Pros so close. I got to look at their Quirks in a closer range…."

Kuku's regular mumblings began as he started listing off and recording what he found during the Pro's assistance. I smiled at my friend, or toward his voice at least, and listened to his findings.

"I keep forgetting how observant you are, especially in such a short time." I told him. He stopped his mutterings short and laughed nervously. I scratched at the wraps around my eyes, feeling their presence becoming irritating. "Hey, Recovery girl. Can I get out of these bandages soon?"

"Uh well." Kuku began, continuing to laugh nervously.

"No, it's ok." All Might said softly, before continuing to loudly respond, "Well would you look at that, I've run out of time. I guess it's time for me to go now." Kuku once again objected and I tried to agree but the Pro shot us down. "Recovery girl, I need to steal you for a few seconds and then I'll be on my way."

"Ok, well I'll take your bandages off after I talk to All Might, wait here." the woman called out, both pros seeming to exit the room with the sound of the door shutting. I slid further under the covers and stared up into the ceiling before getting Kuku;s attention.

"So," I said, "Do you think we're still best friends?"

"What!" He yelled, before groaning, probably by over exerting himself when answering. "Of course we're still best friends. I mean… if you still want to be." i nodded my head to myself, glad that he still considered me as such.

"No, I want to be, it's just been a while so I was worried you might have replaced me." I told him honestly and I felt a relief saying it out loud. "I mean, not that I wouldn't be happy for you if you got more friends, and I'm sure you do. I just, I really missed you. Ya know."

"I missed you too." He said, before his voice became frantic. "I mean not like that, of course I meant like a brother. I mean like a sister because I know you're a girl but I think of you as a friend. And I mean not that I think about you like that but I mean ..."

I laughed at his ramblings, imagining his hands flying everywhere trying to explain himself. A nervous quirk I noticed he had, even when we were younger.

"Kuku, it's fine, I understood." I said, but I frowned and went on with my original topic idea. "But now that I know we are still best friends I'm going to ask you something. What's going on with All Might, and more importantly, you?"

The room was quiet as I waited for his response.

"It's not my secret to tell." He said, his voice becoming sullen. I was astonished he could make such a sharp turn in personality so quickly, but I was also impressed with his maturity. Though disappointed that I wouldn't get to know more.

"Look at my Kuku getting all grown up. I feel like a proud mama bird." I said, smiling at the ceiling.

"I'm older than you." He protested quietly, and I smiled before continuing.

"But I get it, you don't need to tell me. However…. Please talk to me if you are in danger. I know that you didn't have a quirk when I left, so either you really had a doormat quirk that just happened to come out after I left, or you're in something deep, and I can't help but think it's related to All Might. Either way, please, please don't think you can't talk to me." I rambled off all I had been thinking since I got here, deciding to keep quiet about what I heard between the teachers. Perhaps, the losing of his quirk was normal?

"Thanks," He said, not answering either of my underlying questions. "Y-You can talk to me too."

The sound of the door opening quieted my response, the steps of the elderly nurse getting closer to my bed resonated in the now silent room. I sat up and waited for her to take off the wraps keeping me from seeing.

"Well I hope you two weren't doing anything Naughty, the silence is making me suspicious." She said, laughter in her voice. I choked a little at her suggestion and tried to think of something to tell her she was wrong. It seemed Kuku was struggling because the only sounds I heard was his stuttering.

"Maybe, guess we'll never know." I said, my voice holding the same tone she did. My face blushed even redder and I screamed at myself for saying anything.

You're dumb. Like really dumb. I swear I have to tell you this everyday.

I didn't mean to say that! … I swear I meant to deny it.

But why talk at all, you know how you get when you're flustered.

It's not my fault my brain doesn't work.

Don't you drag me into this.

"H-h-hiroko!" Kuku gasped and stuttered even more. "W-we weren't doing a-a-nything like that."

"Oh, I know." She said, her cold fingers on my face making me jump. But I was grateful that the bandages would finally come off. "You can barely move your arms and her side and leg would restrict her from getting out of bed." Well I hadn't realized It was that bad.

The wraps around my head loosened and I could finally see light coming through. I blinked quickly trying to adjust, but ended up closing my eyes anyway.

"Your friend here is just a flirt."

"Y-yeah." he answered and I could finally see his face. He was completely red and almost staring at me angrily. Wow, I've never seen him look at me like that, playfully or not.

"I'm sorry, I was nervous," I said, playfully cracking my voice to lighten his stare. "It was a knee jerk response." I held out my arms and shrugged, he didn't seem convinced.

"But that's not a thing." He said, smiling more now. I gasped dramatically, putting my hand over my heart.

"It is to a thing." I said, he tried to deadpan, but his bright smile stayed plastered to his face. "Just because you don't suffer from The Flirties doesn't mean they're not real. It's a real thing isn't it, Recovery Girl?"

I turned to the elderly woman and was shocked at her appearance. She was short, wearing a long doctor's coat dragging on the floor, complementing the red and white dress, and bright pink boots. With a syringe(?) holding up her grey-haired bun. She nodded and walked over to Kuku, rewrapping his bandages around his arm.

"Of course it's a thing," She answered, I smiled cheekily, and silently thanked her for backing me up. "I had it when I was younger." My friend looked confused, and I felt my smile growing.

"See, I told you it was real," I taunted. "And it's pretty contagious. Be careful or you might catch it." I wiggled my eyebrows at him and he laughed. Aw, I can't believe how much I missed this. "However, that would help you with the ladies." he stopped laughing and his face went red. "Oooo, did you think of someone?"

"N-no no. I didn't, it's not like that," He stuttered again and I felt my smile turn into a wicked smirk. "I- I mean why would I think of a-anyone…." He continued to ramble, his hands shaking at me as I stifled back a laugh.

Before I could continue with my teasing another slam of the door made me jump; hitting the shelf above me.

"Sorry!" Uruakas voice reached my ears as I clutched my head.

"Ow," I said, the throbbing on my skull being incredibly painful. "Why is that even there? There are people who are taller than me… It makes no sense." Seriously, I'm like 5'2, even though that's pretty average people can still be taller.

"If you had paid attention, you would know that was there the entire time." The elderly nurse said, bringing an ice pack over from the fridge by her desk.

"eh , wa, I couldn't..." I started, looking for the right words. I had bandages on my eyes the entire time, how in the world would I know it was there? Was she messing with me?

"Pfttt," Uraraka laughed, trying to cover her mouth with her hand. She failed. Her brown hair bobbed at the attempt, her eyes even tearing a little. "You're so funny."

I looked at her dumbfounded, but thought about my situation and let out a chuckle. "Thanks." I said, and grabbed the ice pack from Recovery Girl's hand. Thanking her as well.

"Did you need something?" The woman asked, turning to look at Uraraka. She nodded her head quickly, and I once again worried about the safety of her neck.

"I was going to tell Deku and Hiroko that the police and the principal said we can go home, and that school will be closed tomorrow." She said. I nodded my head but stopped at the name she called Izuku. "And I wanted to check on them." She blushed slightly and I smirked again. Though the action was cut short when my head started to hurt more.

"Thanks, but Recovery girl already told us." I asked through my discomfort. "But why do you call Izuku, Deku?" It was a name I heard from Blasty boy, but it seemed less enduring from him as it did from the girl in front of me.

"Oh, well I thought it was his name, but now he says it's a nice nickname." She answered. Her finger touching her chin in thought. I nodded and looked over to "Deku". Raising my eyebrows; questioning him.

"Heh, w-well I thought that it was time to stand up to Kacchan. Letting him know that I wasn't going to be the week Deku I once was." His eyes blazed with determination, and I sat there for a moment, taken aback.

"Curse his beautiful face," I said, scrunching my nose in fake anger. "I forgot how much of a jerk he was." Uraraka giggled again, and Kuku nervously scratched his neck.

"All right Ms. Bushida, your sister is on her way to pick you up. Be sure to be here bright and early in the morning. And elevate that foot when you get home. And stay off your side. I'll see you bright and early the day after tomorrow." Recovery girl said, and I zoned out as she continued to list what would be best for my help.

I woke up earlier groaning at the muscles that still aches in my body. Both from the lack of sleep, and the huge workout we got from the USJ. Last night, after the long rant Lily gave me about her responsibilities of being my caretaker and promising not to tell dad unless he asked, I had another nightmare. This one about the stupid hand man, he had gotton to Kuku, and ended up killing All Might. I shuddered at the image of both my friend and the pro hero's bodies lying in front of me.

I sighed deeply before going through my regular routine. Taking the crutches Recovery girl lent me and using them to maneuver around my room. Yesterday had been pretty rough, the aching in my side and each of my muscles crying everytime i moved. I hadn't realized how much i'd been pushing myself until the day after. I really needed to start training again, who knew a month or two without would cause so much damage.

Lilly had agreed to take me early, and after 30 minutes of slowly getting ready, we arrived at school around 8.

"Bye, Lilly. See you after school." I said, waving goodbye to my sister. She nodded her head and drove off. Apparently, she was still mad, well maybe mad was the wrong word, but she was definitely more distant. The walk toward the school and into the Nurse's office seemed incredibly long as I trudged my tired body through the other students who had gotten there early. I didn't even know they let students in this early, we still had twenty-five minutes till scholl actually started.

I knocked on the door to the nurse's office and waited till the short woman opened up and pulled me in. Slamming the door again, thankfully this time I didn't jump.

"Sit on the bed, you have class soon and you'll be late if we don't hurry." She said, I did what she said and tried to throw off my tired state. It helped a little but I still felt my eyes droop when she walked over. "'All right dear," She said, and puckered her lips. I jumped back slightly, but remembered the way she healed people. Heh.

After the most awkward doctors visit I've ever had, I thanked her and walked outside the room without the crutches, but with an even worse state of exhaustion. She had not been kidding when she said her quirk took energy. Though, I can't help but wonder if I would be able to mimic the way she heals people. Especially since she just speeds up the body's natural way of healing.

I walked to my class, ignoring those who seemed to be running, and was about to open the door when a very loud and very excited voice broke through the door of my classroom.

"Attention. Home room class is about to begin." Iida announced. Oh no. "Everyone stop talking and take your seats." I huddled beside the door, contemplating my next move. If I went in now, I would definitely get called out by Iida, but if I didn't go in and Mr. Aizawa found out, actually I don't want to think about what my teacher's punishment would be.

"Uh, were all sitting." Kirishima said, but it went ignored as Iida continued.

"Where is Bushida? She is late." he said. I grimaced at calling me out but continued forward.

I opened the door and felt the shift of eyes on me. I couldn't get a chance to say anything when Iida began to rush toward me. I froze for a second and thought about running back out. Once again, the wicked smile of our homeroom teacher kept me in my place.

"Where were you? This is U.A., a school for the dedicated and the diligent, not a slacker who comes in late." he told me, his fingers seeming to stick together as he rambled about the importance of being on time.

"I'm not late!" I defended, "look it's.." looking down at my wrist I tried to emphasize my point, but... "I'm not sure why I looked down. I don't have a watch, but the point is, I'm not late." a few snickers where heard and i tried to keep it together and walk back to my seat but Iida wasn't having it.

"It's 8:24."

"Which is technically a minute early."

"Will you two idiots, shut up!" an angry voice rose over ours, breaking our conversation. I didn't need to look to know who said it. I sighed and turned back to Iida.

"Sorry, I'll be sure to come in earlier tomorrow." I said, and walked back to my seat. Having not expected that, he stood stuck for a minute before following my example. The class remained quiet for a moment before turning back to their conversations. Just quieter than before.

I tried blocking out their small comments and closed my eyes. I no longer had aching muscles, scrapes, or a broken foot, which apparently only felt sprained during the fight because of my boot, so the only thing I had to worry about today: keeping my eyes open.

I felt my consciousness slipping when the class started to yell. I forcibly opened my eyes to see a very bandaged Eraserhead. His entire face and elbow were wrapped completely in white bandages, leaving very little holes for his eyes and nose. My guilt pooled at the sight of him, I should have started carrying him to the entrance the minute I saw him. I'm sure Kuku would have been fine. I shouldn't have left him with tsuyu and mineta, maybe I could have given him more energy or.. Tried to ease his pain.

"Mr. Aizawa." the class rep called, raising his hand as he spoke. "I'm glad you're okay."

"You call that, "okay"?" Uraraka said behind him, voicing what we were all thinking. Our teacher limped over to the podium in the center of the room, standing in front of the blackboard we all stared at.

"My well being is irrelevant." he said. Uhh... "What's more important is that your fight isn't over yet." the class began to visibly freak out as we waited intently on our teacher to continue. "The UA sports festival is about to start."

"Yes!" Kirsihima said, and I jumped at his outburst. Everyone else seemed to be upset that our teacher had scared us like that, but he didn't seem deterred by the student's reactions. "Let's go kick some but!" he yelled again, pumping his fist excitedly.

Except his excitement only lasted for a moment when Kiminari pushed his hand into his face, saying "Wait a second." I snorted and tried to hide my growing smile, but I knew I wasn't doing very well.

"Is it really a good idea to hold the sports festival so soon after the villains snuck inside?" Jiro said, her voice coming from behind Izuku.

"They could attack once we're all in the same place." Ojiro agreed, his tail flicking slightly over kiminairis desk as he said so. I nodded in agreement as well, knowing that if they did attack on national television, I would definitely be getting that call from Dad.

"Apparently, the administration thinks this is a good way to show that the threat has been handled, and our school is safer than ever." Mr. Aizawa said, "Plus, they're beefing up security compared to past years." With this, he looked at us with more seriousness, or I think he did, I couldn't completely tell with the bandages. "This event is a huge opportunity for all students at UA, it's not something you can cancel because of a few villains."

"Uh, I'm sorry but why not?" Mineta said, bringing our attention to the small desk he got in the back. When he came late, that's all Mr. Aizawa would give him. Poor... poor kid. "It's just a sport's festival."

"Huh, Mineta." Kuku started, turning to the worried boy. "Don't you know how important this competition is?"

"Of course I do." He answered, seeming to relax for a second. "I just don't want to get murdered."

"That's… that's a fair point." I whispered to no one in particular.

"Our sports festival is the one of the most watched events in the entire world." Mr. Aizawa ignored the short boy's comments and continued on. "In the past, everyone obsessed over the Olympic games. But then Quirks started appearing." did he ignore the murder thing to tell us how entertaining this event is…? "Now the Olympics have been drastically reduced in terms of scale and viewership. For anyone who cares about competition, there's only one tournament that matters. The UA sports festival."

I mean I get the concept, but we aren't going to talk about the murder thing?

"That's right." Yaoyorozu said, also ignoring a very particular and crucial detail in the conversation. "And top heroes everywhere will be watching. This is where you get scouted." She then clenched her fist in determination.

"Yeah , unless you're dead." Mineta commented, and I nodded along.

"She's right." Kiminair said, and I flipped around to look at him. You too? Am I the only other one stuck on this? "After graduating a lot of people join pro agencies as a sidekick. He threw a thumbs up at me and I awkwardly threw it back, laughing silently at their idea to ignore what Mineta had said.

"Yeah, but that's as far as some people go." Jiro said, and the boy's eyes shifted from me to the girl, a seat behind Kuku. "They miss their chance to go indie and stay eternal sidekicks. Actually, that's probably where your headed, you're kinda dumb." I snorted and didn't do a good job hiding it. His eyes twitched and I tried not to smile again. I tried to mouth out "sorry", but he didn't look convinced.

"It's true that joining a famous hero agency can garner you greater experience and popularity." Mr. Aizawa continued, "That's why the festival matters. If you wanna go pro one day, then this event could open a path for you." Heh, he said go pro.

You're an actual child.

I- yeah.

"Once chance a year, three chances in a lifetime." Our teacher said, "No aspiring hero can afford to miss the festival. That means you better not slack off on your training." Now that, is something I need to work on.

"Yes sir." we all answered.

"Class is dismissed." he said, and walked out of the room. I got up quickly, attempting to catch him but the door slammed before I could.

"Braids." Katsuki called, and I turned around. And though it wasn't completely obvious, he wasn't clutching his shoulder in pain anymore. "Your injury cost us time on our report for English, so we meet up today or you die." I stood shocked for a moment, and then remembered his aggressive attitude. Though i will admit that he looked a lot less angry today than i had seen him in the last week or two.

"Okay.. let me talk to my sister."

Lunch rolled around and I had texted her what he had said. She said ok but told me I was walking home, I wasn't sure if she meant it, but either way I didn't want to ask.

"This is gonna be nuts!" Kuku said, as we all had gathered in different groups before heading to the cafeteria. "Everyone's so excited."

"Well, yeah of course we are." Iida said, getting up from his desk. "We enrolled at this school with the sole aim to become heroes. So naturally we are all getting fired up." he made an action similar to dancing and I laughed when tsuyu commented. "You have to be excited too, right, Midoriya?"

"Well, yeah Of course I am." He answered. "And also nervous."

"You're always nervous." I told him. He laughed awkwardly and put his hand on his neck again.

"Deku! Iida. Hiroka." A low voice made us turn. I jumped back slightly and hit the desk I had been standing closest to, seeing a determined Uraraka, with her eyes burning with power. "Let's do our best in the sports festival." Ow. I mentally screamed but I couldn't take my eyes of the girl, radiating an unretiring aura.

"Uraraka, what happened to your face?" Kuku asked from beside me. I nodded my head and grimaced from the stab to my side.

"Seriously what's up? You're normally like the most laid back girl ever." Mina said.

"Yeah, you're kinda scaring me." I agreed but her resolve did not waver as she strengthened her stance and pumped her fist.

"Everyone, i'm gonna do my best."

"Yeah." we yelled back, mimicking her movements.

She turned to the other boys grouping together two seats away.

"I said I'm gonna do my best!"

Multiple more reactions sounded as they raised their fists as well, albeit a lot less enthusiastically.

"Got it."

"Uhhh."

"You okay?" Kirshima asked, "You kinda look like you're losin' it." She ignored them and continued to pump her fist into the air. Saying once more for the people in the back. I laughed at her response and walked over to her. I slowly brought her hand down and misled at her.

"I think they got it." I told her. She smiled, calming down, but determination still reflected through her eyes.

"Yeah!" she said once more, and I laughed.

"Hey," I said, turning to Iida and Kuku. "Can I eat with you guys again today?" All three nodded and I smiled. We left the class soon after that, not really saying anything until Kuku stopped Uraraka.

"Hey Uraraka?" he asked, stopping the girl walking in front of us.

"What's up?" she asked.

"Why did you decide to come to UA?" He asked, "What made you wanna be a pro hero?"She gasped, casting her eyes down to the floor, not looking in the boy's eyes as she answered.

"Oh. Well, because…" She stuttered "it pays well." she whispered, barely audible. We all heard it though, and it was shocking to hear her say it. It was a well known fact that being a hero paid well, if you were good at it at least. And though it may start out as just a job, you were still saving lives, so having her drive being money didn't really matter to me, but it seemed odd for Uraraka. She didn't seem like someone who's only goal was money.

"Uh, for the money?" Kuku asked. Urauraka scratched her neck in embarrassment, her blushing getting more noticeable.

"If we're cutting to the chase, then, yeah." she answered him. She started shaking her hands, making all three of us jump. "I'm sorry if it sounds greedy. You two have sound admiral motivations. I hope you don't think less of me now." She put her hands over her blushing cheeks and looked away again. I smiled and reached out to her.

"Not at all." Iida said from behind me, "Your goal is to support your wellbeing, which is a perfectly admirable ambition to have." I nodded in agreement, but gave Iida a questioning look.

"Mm-hm. It's just kinda surprising." Kuku added. His eyes not leaving the embarrassed girl. She let her hands come off her cheeks and put them in her hair, her voice getting quieter in its seriousness.

She breathed out a sigh, then answered the green haired boy's unasked question. "Well. You see, my family owns a construction company, but we haven't gotten any work lately, so we're flat broke." She continued to rub her head in embarrassment, that seemed to be another tick she had when getting flustered. "Anyway, this isn't something I usually tell other people."

"Construction, eh?" Iida put his hand to his chin and looked in deep thought. Kuku had the same expression when he gasped.

"If she got licensed, I bet she could use her Quirk to bring costs down a lot."

"And they could sell their heavy-lifting equipment." Iida offered as well. "She could float everything."

"I know, right?" She said, pointing at us and jumping excitedly, I stood back a second at their quick thinking and planning. "I've been telling Dad that since i was a kid! But…" she paused, getting distracted, letting her gaze fall to the floor. "He said that he appreciated the thought, but he wanted me to follow my own dream." She fisted her skirt in determination. "I'm gonna become a pro. I'll sign with a good agency and make plenty of money so I'll be able to let my parents have an easy life!"

"Awww." I coed. I jumped from in between the two boys in front of me and hugged her. She looked surprised for a second but accepted. "That's really mature of you." I told her. She would have responded when Iida began clapping, throwing his arms in the air.

"That's beautiful." he cried. "So noble! Bravo! Bravo Bravissimo!" Kuku just stared, and I let go of her, looking, once again, questionably at Iida and his behavior. Eh, what the heck, I've done weirder. I joined in with him and laughed as Uraraka's face got reader, telling us to be quiet and that the students in the hall were looking.

However, her please didn't silence us, but the thunderous laughing of the number 1 hero.

"Young Midoriya is here." He said, pointing to the now confused looking boy. Actually, all of us looked both surprised and confused at his appearance. Though, whatever he had been dealing with just two days ago that led him to be in the Nurse's office, he seemed fine now.

"Whoa, All Might! What are you doing here?" Kuku asked.

"Lunch!" All Might answered, showing a wrapped lunch. "Ya wanna eat with me?" Uraraka's reaction came quickly, thinking it was adorable, I had honestly thought the same thing, before I questioned the reason as to why. "Whaddaya say?"

Kuku looked to us for approval and we happily nodded. "Sure thing." he called out, and I watched him walk over to the hero's side.

"Oh and Bushida." All Might said, I turned around and saw him giving me a thumbs up. "Glad to see you're ok." I nodded my head and smiled, deciding against saying the same to him. We continued our walk, Kuku less, and talked more about the projects and sports festival. Though the conversation shifted back to Kuku and All Might once we got in line.

"I wonder what he wanted with Deku." Uraraka said, I nodded my head but tried not to think too hard on the subject. I told Kuku that i would respect his secrets, so if i kept wondering, I knew I would get curious.

"I heard that when All Might was attacked by villains during the USJ incident, Midoriya tried to stop them himself." Iida mentioned, "Perhaps that's what this is about."

"Oh yeah, you were there weren't you Hiroko?" The brown haired girl asked. I once again nodded, though wondering if it was still my place to say. I decided it was sense I didn't actually know what was going on in the first place, I could still be careful though.

"Yeah, I was honestly really scared, but at the same time proud that he would go after the pro like that." I said to her, I smirked a little and thought of a small plan for the boy in mind. "He's always been so awesome like that, trying to help out everyone. I really admire him for it." Uraraka smiled and bobbed her head. Good, a little wind in the sails will work just fine.

You ever think you're a little too devious when it comes to your friends' relationships.

Maybe just a little.

"He is quite admirable. Also, remember what Asui said on the bus?" Iida continued, and I thought back to what he meant. She said something about his power being similar to All Mights. "Since their Quirks are so similar to each other, it's possible that All Might's taken a liking to him." Both Uraraka and I hummed in agreement, but I tuned out Iida's next comment when I felt eyes on us.

I glanced around, trying not to draw too much attention to myself, when I saw a boy with red hair, crystal blue eyes, and a scare on the left side of his face looking me in the eyes. He nodded in acknowledgement and went back to facing the front. I sat there bewildered at his reaction. He nodded like he knew me, but he was pretty cute, and I don't usually forget cute people.

I ignored the boy and went back to Uraraka and Iida's conversation, which we were now talking about their stories of what the USJ like. I let out a quiet sigh, once again feeling like my energy was draining, or at least as drained as I was this morning. Now we have hero class after this and I have to study with Sparky, I'm not sure which of the two would be more exhausting.

I'm actually impressed that I get this done in a week or so. Thanks for reading, and enjoy your day.
