(Heeeey, who loves ya baby??)
*Prologue*
"G'bye, Kenji!! I'll see you tomorrow!" Uriko Nonomura cheered to
Kenji Ohgami. The two had spent the day sparring at a local park, and he
had walked with her home. "Sister! I'm home!" She yelled upon entering the
house. When nobody answered, she figured that her sister had stepped out
for a while. With her now being 15, her older 'sister' had been a bit more
lenient in letting her do her own thing, and living her own life. Not even
bothering to turn on any lights, she made her way upstairs, showered, and
returned to her room to put on her jammies. She opened her dresser and
peered inside. "Let's see here.. Superman jammies? *too hot* Ah! This
one!!" She pulled out a white tank with orange boxers and paws on it, with
'Paws off!' written across the back. "What time is it ?? *7:45. It's still
early.. Alice should be home soon..* Shutting her window to stop the chilly
draft that had been blowing in, she quickly dressed and made her way
downstairs to salvage something to eat.
An irritated look crossed Kenji's face as he flicked through the TV
channels. *Channel 906. WWII documentary. Channel 907. tasteless 50's
movie. Channel 908.HELLO!!!* Kenji quickly shut off the TV to find
something to stop his bleeding nose. He ran into the bathroom nearby and
returned with bits of tissue up his nostrils. "I swear-" he complained. "I
don't know what's worse. Having 1,000+ channels and there is still nothing
to watch, or the fact that they're littered with those er.. 'special'
channels Yugo likes. *None the less however, I still love him.*He chuckled
to himself and went up to his room to call Uriko.
~Ring,ring,riiiing. Ring,ring,riiiing.~
Without taking her eyes off the screen, Uriko picked up the phone receiver on the table next to the phone. "Moshi - moshi. Nonomura residence!" "Hey, Uriko." "Kenji? *tee hee* Not trying to be rude, um, why do you sound like a duck??" Kenji remembered the tissue and pulled it out, flinging the bits into a trashcan. "It's um, nothing, I'm just feeling a bit stuffy is all." "Oh.[pic] Hey, are you free tomorrow? I was thinking we could- Yaaaah!!!" A gruff voice suddenly cut into their conversation, and talked into the receiver on Uriko's end. " I'm sorry little Bakuryu. *did I spell it correctly? * Miss Nonomura has some errands to attend to. Goodbye." The line went dead. Panicked, Kenji flung the phone to the floor and jumped out the window to sprint all the way to Uriko's house. By the time he got there, however, it was a complete mess, and the stench of sedatives hung heavily in the air. Painfully, Kenji ran outside and screamed unheard threats and curses helplessly into the clear night sky.
