After a fight with Eridan, Sollux is left with a problem. Days later Eridan comes by to see that he changed Sollux into a two sweep old. Now having to take care of Sollux until he finds a way to change him back, that is, if he finds one, Eridan starts to wonder if he even wants Sollux back to normal, seeing as how he is far nicer this way. Sollux wasn't sure how it had happened precisely, but he knew Feferi had saved his life, and now they were rising up through the water, lips locked together as she let him breathe through her. For a moment he became lost in the rhythm of their own breathing, and the voices fell completely silent. And right in that moment, for the first time in years, he felt safe.
