Disclaimer: I own the Hirokos, she is all's I owns

I just went back to my previous chapters…. How are any of you still reading this I- I feel like I've gotten better but I should definitely go back and rewrite some stuff, but maybe I should just finish the Sports Festival arc first…

Also Just a repeat, the fights aren't cannon. Most aren't in order and people might fight other people. Also, You probably won't care, but i'll be skimming through most of the fights, except for hers. Just so it won't be crazy long… maybe.

Except for Uraraka and Bakugo's fight, sorry not sorry

- Fights, arguments, and Electricity -

I walked into the silent stadium and flinched. Had I gone deaf? Where did all the fans go? The yelling, the cheering? I walked further into the seating area, expecting to see the arena below. However, there was little light as something blocked the view.

"W-wait." I immediately relaxed, thankful that I could hear myself. But that still didn't explain why it was so quiet, Or what that weird thing blocking most of the light was.

I looked around in confusion, and noticed my classmates sitting in their seats, their eyes wide in surprise.

I hurried over to Katsuki's turned form and crouched behind him.

Wow, he smells really good. But, like how…? Is it cologne?

Don't get distracted.

"What is that?" I whispered, not wanting to break whatever weird silence that had fallen on everyone. Wait, what if it was a Quirk…

"Nice try!" I heard someone yell, distracting me from my next thought. So… the stadium collectively thought to just be silent for no reason? What is going on?

The phrase caught on and soon the once silent stadium was roaring again, confusing me even more.

"What is happening?" I asked even louder, gaining the attention of the students in the row. Katsuki turned around quickly with murder in his eyes, and I paled, realizing I'd just yelled in his ear.

"Stop asking stupid questions!" he yelled, and I clenched my jaw. "And stop screaming in my ear, Idiot!" His hands glowed and he blasted off another warning shot. I dodged by crouching and letting his chair take the brunt of it.

"Hey!" I screamed, wondering why we always had to do this. Though, I would be lying if I said I didn't slightly enjoy arguing with him. "It wasn't stupid!" I defended, raising my arms to block my face from another attack. "I have no idea what's going on!...But still, sorry about your ear!"

I yelled the last part just as loud as the first, realizing the irony in the statement.

"I don't need your stupid apology, nerd! so just shut up,"

"Or you'll blow my hair up," I finished, making fun of him by raising my hands to mock his stance. "I get it." He growled in frustration, and I'm sure he would have fired another blast if we hadn't drawn such a commotion.

"I.. I wouldn't keep fighting guys," I heard Kaminari stutter, looking around at the now disappearing blockade. Why is it disappearing? He turned his eyes back on us, but I continued to shake my head in confusion.

"Shut up, Sparky!" Katsuki remarked, before sitting down in his burnt chair. "You don't think I know?"

I shook my head, trying to focus on the original problem. This time, I decided to ask someone more… cooperative. I walked around the seats, coming to the first of the three rows, seeing an open space by Mina. I slid by the freezing substance, and saw it was still shrinking.

"It was crazy!" Mina exclaimed, throwing her arms up in excitement, when I walked over to her. "Sero gabbed Todoroki with his tape stuff, and started swinging him out of the ring-"

"Wait," I stopped her, questioning why Todoroki and Sero were involved. "What happened to Kuku and the pretty purple guy?" Her eyes widened and pointed to Uraraka and the green haired boy sitting next to her. "Kuku? Weren't you just down there?"

Dang, how long was I on the phone?

"Oh, yeah." He said, looking up as if in deep thought. "It was a quick fight." he looked down again and stared at his hands. Thanks Kuku, that was really helpful. I sighed and turned back to Mina, who was shaking her head in agreement.

"Yeah! Midoriya almost walked out of the ring," she informed me, "But then a huge wind went and broke him out of it. Then he threw the other guy out of the ring." Uraraka, from her seat beside Kuku, nodded her head along. As if any of that made any sense.

"Right, then what happened with Todoroki and Sero?" I asked, sitting down beside her, cautiously eyed the arena, still filled with the oddly shaped meteor? Rock? Blue cement….? "And what is that thing?" I exasperatedly pointed at the weird rock and asked.

"That's what I was saying," Mina continued. "Sato tried to grab Todoroki with his tape, but then Todoroki was like 'zoom'!" She dramatically moved her arm and made a blasting motion. "And ice came out of his foot, and it went all over the stadium!"

I closed my eyes slowly and scrunched my face at the realization.

"Why the ugly face?" I heard her ask, and I cursed myself before opening my eyes.

"Because it makes so much more sense than blue cement," I told her, putting my face in my hands. "Or a meteor."

"You thought it was a meteor…" Kuku asked, and I raised my head and turned toward his voice, seeing that he was giving me a disbelieving look. "Or blue cement?"

I turned my body toward him and smiled, feeling both embarrassed and enjoying his deadpan look.

"First of all, there is a hero, probably in your notebook, that can make cement, so it's plausible." I fired back, "Second of all, you're being very out of character with this condescending tone, Izuku." I emphasized each syllable in his name for added effect, and continued on. "It's confusing everyone."

"Oh, we weren't confused." Jirou interrupted, her cheeks puffed out and her eyebrows clenched as she tried to keep herself from laughing. "That was just super dumb."

"Wha-" I squeaked. "It wasn't that dumb!"

"Sorry, Hiroko…" Kirishima said, pity in his features as amusement played in his eyes.

"Why would blue cement be your first thought?" Tsuyu asked, leaning forward from her chair and turning her head to look at me.

"Well, a meteor makes sense," I tried, but Jirou just started to laugh again. "It could happen! And it's not that funny."

"Heh…" Uaraka laughed, tapping her fingers together as she tried not to look me in the eyes. "It wouldn't really, I mean we all would have evacuated, or one of the hero's would have dealt with it."

I breathed out a laugh myself, Jirou's laughter being more contagious than irritating. I shook my head and waved my hand before turning back to them.

"Why would ice make any more sense?" I questioned.

"Todoroki has ice and he's in the line-up to face off?" Kuku questioned right back, his lips lifting into a smile.

"Do you talk to your mother in that tone?" I placed my hand over my heart and gasped in mock astonishment. A call back to when I called him my younger brother.

"I'm older than you," he quipped, reading into my words.

"Go back to your book," I said, pointing at his notebook before turning back to face the stadium. "I have a fight to watch." He knew, along with everyone else I'm sure, that the fights had been postponed till all the ice was cleared. Which made my 'dramatic end' to the conversation all the more ridiculous.

We waited for the next match to begin, the cleanup from Todoroki's match taking longer than usual, at least that's what Mina says. She explained that she got in the habit of watching the festival every year. Kuku also admitted to watching it every year, with a long muttered speech about the different Quirks he wrote about in his Notebook.

The first fight, really wasn't a fight at all. The pink haired girl from Kuku's group, apparently from the support class, used her time as a commercial, which lasted longer than clearing the ice. She had gadgets and new inventions that, somehow, she got Iida to showcase them for her. She walked off the stage after she showed everything, giving Iida the win by default.

"That jetpack was pretty cool," I offered. Mina nodded along but put her head back in her chair.

"Yeah," she agreed, before playfully whining. "But I wanted to see some actual fighting." She looked completely serious, and I snorted.

"What… that wasn't enough action for you?" I asked, sarcastically. "When she laughed maniacally and walked off the stage, I got goosebumps."

"It was just a commercial," she retorted, lifting her body back up to a sitting position.

"An action packed comercial."

We argued about the 'commercial' till the next match, which was between Yaoyorozo and Tokayami. Both Mina and I focused on the match, hoping Yaoyorozu would win, as Present Mic announced the competitors.

"I hope she wins," I whispered to her, not wanting to let down Tokoyami.

"Why are you whispering?" she asked, not taking her eyes off the match. "They can't hear you."

It felt like forever before our teacher announced the beginning of the 4th match. And immediately Tokoyami called Dark Shadow, the bird rushing toward Yaoyorozu with great speed and precision. She made a shield to block the bird, and reached out her other hand, getting ready to strike. Dark shadow looped around, and I realized she wasn't going to make a hit with her speed.

His second hit sent her farther back and she remade her shield, but the shadow pushed her back again, leaving her standing outside of the lines.

Mina and I looked at each other in sympathy, sad that our friend couldn't even show off her awesome quirk.

"She made that super huge cannon earlier," Mina exclaimed, trying to not sound down. "So she should get a couple offers?"

I nodded my head in agreement and sighed. Her quirk was absolutely amazing. Though it took lots of effort and studying, she could create any object in the world, just from her body. I think she makes elements and builds them together, which could lead to tons of chemical reactions and formulas. I wasn't sure if what her quirk was, many times what a quirk looks like and what a quirk is, is completely different.

"Hey wait," I gasped, turning to Mina as I remembered something. "Aren't you supposed to be down there, Like now?" Her eyes opened wide and realised she and Ayoma were competing next. She stood up and ran past me, sprinting out the stadium and into the long hallways that connected the class' seats.

I stood up after her, silently thanking Present Mic's ever insistent need to talk as much as possible during the fights. She wouldn't be late if he kept announcing everything like he was. Walking up the stairs, I turned to Kaminari who sat contently beside Katuski, neither one acknowledging each other.

"Hey, Kaminari," I called. "We should start heading down, our fight is after this one." He ran his hand through his hair confidently, and he smiled at me. His confidence flickered when Katsuki growled as he walked in front of him.

I rolled my eyes at the blonde's attitude before laughing to myself. He could be mad at everything, and then blame everyone else.

We walked through the stadium, into our appointed rooms, and waited for our match to begin. I felt jittery as I sat at the table, nervous for the fight.

I had felt cocky earlier, but If I don't dodge his quirk fast enough, he'd easily be able to fry my brain. Not to mention electricity can leave scars and burns… that would not be a fun experience. I'm not even sure how fast Kaminari's Quirk is, with how much energy I've exerted today I might not be able to keep up.

I sighed and began undoing my braid, trying to think of a plan in case my Quirk fell through. No matter how hard I tried, I couldn't think of a plan. Especially since I knew very little about his Quirk. All I really knew was that he could conduct electricity and shoot it out, and that even if he touched you he could activate it. I'd only seen it a couple of times during training, and gotten little information from Yaoyorozu and Jiro after the USJ incident.

I slouched down in my chair and finished redoing my braid, letting my long hair fall from my hands in its tightened hold. The sound of loud cheering made the butterflies return to my stomach, breaking the odd sense of peace I had obtained.

I was going to battle next, on live television. And if I won… I'd have to do it again.

That's a bit disconcerting.

I decided I was done with waiting and stood up, exciting the room and making my way toward the entrance of the stadium. The closer I got, the darker the shadow the large entrance casted. I walked faster toward the light and saw the last of Mina's fight, gazing intently as Mina gave Aoyama an uppercut. She screamed her action and I grimaced … poor Aoyama

"Glad she made it on time," I said to myself. Both the crowd and myself cheered as she exclaimed excitedly, happy of her victory.

"Ayoyama has fainted!" Mrs. Midnight called, "The winner of this match is Ashido!"

"Dang Aoyama went down hard!" Present Mic added, as the crowd whistled and screamed their praises. I clapped along but felt a small sense of dread… I'd have to fight Kaminari, and then Mina if I won. How hadn't I realized this earlier?

Winning the race and the group challenge felt like less pressure compared to this. At least in the race you didn't have to win in order to go to the next round, and in the cavalry battle we would play as a team.

"That's an indisputable victory if I've ever seen one, sport fans." Once Again, Present Mic's word's made me nervous.

What if I failed so badly I really did get kicked out of 1A

You might if you freeze and get scared

Not helping.

Nobody wants a hero who's too scared to help

I clenched my fists at the rising thoughts, before shoving them deep down. I didn't need dumb fears or insecurities ruining my chance to fight.

I looked up and saw Mina walking toward me, smiling victoriously as she waved at her, no doubt, growing fanbase.

"Did you see that?" she excitedly called. "That's a fight."

I smiled and nodded my head along with her, her energy releasing some of my tension.

"Yeah, I especially liked the part where you called out your move," I teased. She laughed and her eyes sparkled with mischief.

"Are you getting nervous about facing me?" She laughed. "Because I'm totally going to win. So no hard feelings?"

I chuckled and held out my hand, offering to shake on it like I'd done with Kuku. Maybe I was getting worked up over nothing. She put out her hand and we shook on it, the feeling making my nerves dissipate.

"You can think you're gonna win all you want, but that doesn't mean it's gonna happen." I challenged back, staring her in the eyes. She furrowed her eyebrows with confidence and held my stair, before we both broke out in smiles.

"Well you have to beat Kaminari first."

"Heh.." I nervously looked back toward the open arena and saw my opponent on the other side, waiting by the entrance way like I was. "Right."

"Good luck!" She yelled, before hugging me and walking back down the corridor and back up towards the student seats. Or at least, that's where I assume she was going. I turned my head back to the stadium and watched as Aoyama was carried out on a stretcher, his pants down and his underwear sticking out.

"What did she do to you…?"

"Now!" Present Mic cried out. "Let's not ruin this hot streak right now and invite our next two opponents to the stage! It's our 6th match and it's gonna get exciting!"

I breathed in one last time and walked out, feeling completely different compared to when our whole class had walked out. Ahead of me was the great big field now instead of just grass, there was a concrete stage setup with clear black lines labeling where out would be.

I walked up the stairs to the fighting 'ring', debating if the flames on every corner were either pretentious or cool. On the other side was Kaminari, his hand nonchalantly placed in his pockets, a relaxing smile on his lips.

"Not only does this boy have an electric personality, he's also a well known ladies man," Present Mic began, starting with two ridiculous introductions for Kaminari. "Give it up for the 1A lightingy hero, Denki Kaminari!" The crowd cheered wildly before the speakers crackled back to life. "Wait, is lightningy a word?"

"On the other side of the ring we've got a girl who's been giving us all whiplash with her crazy plans." He yelled, getting the crowd weirdly hyped up. "From jumping off the stadium to catching falling hot heads like the knight in shining armor she is. Another up and coming hero, Hiroko Bushida!"

I don't know what I was expecting, but he'd been much worse with some of my other classmates so I guess I'll take what I can get.

"Begin!" Midnight declared, raising her baton to initiate the start of the fight.

"When I said go easy on me earlier, I was just messing with you," I said, facing Kaminari. He looked surprised for a second before masking it quickly with confidence.

"I know." He said, "But it doesn't matter. Cause this is gonna be over in two seconds!"

I readied my stance and began building my energy, loosening my muscles and readying to outmaneuver him, and hopefully knock him out before he could strike again.

But how does one outrun electricity?

"Indiscriminate Shock!" He yelled, his body glowing as sparks began to light around him. My hair stood on end and my heart began to race, adrenaline wanting to release. "1.3 million Volts!"

Almost in an instant I released my Quirk and shot energy into my legs. My intention was to jump high enough that I could land in front of him before he could release another wave of lighting. But I felt my body's low energy drain as I jumped, the momentary drive of power coming from pure adrenaline and leaving me to jump too slow and too high.

The shock of his electricity flowing through my leg and up my body knocked the wind out of me, as I flew through the air. I kept every muscle and thought on the idea of winning, focusing everything into my next action and not on my rising panic.

I gasped in a large breath before crying out to get his attention, he stopped his Quirk in confusion and looked up at me.

I twisted my body and landed my right foot on his side, sliding into his ribs with my knee. I grabbed under his left sleeve and used my right hand on the collar of his uniform and wrapped my left leg over the arm I had gripped and bent my knee around his head.

I cringed with the pressure on my leg but continued by pulling my right arm down from his collar to the wrist that was locked in between my legs and used all my body weight to shift his momentum. Letting us both roll with my body still hooked onto his arm.

I let out another cry of pain but held my position, hopefully this would count as capturing him and he would submit. Especially since this hold could break his arm.

I heard a weird strangle of sounds from my opponent and looked down at him, seeing that his eyes were dilated and his free hand was in a thumbs up. I released my hold and frantically scurried over to him, hoping that I hadn't given him a concussion.

Technically flipping us wasn't actually part of that type of move, but I'd only practiced that version of Flying Armbar.

"Kaminari?" I gaped out, my voice breaking in worry.

"Weeh," he giggled out, completely unresponsive to my question.

"Do you have a concussion?" I asked, looking over him by leaning on my right leg. "I'm sorry it was the only move I could think of at that moment."

"Kaminari has been incapacitated, the fight goes to Hiroko!" Ms. Midnight decided, seeming less worried than I was.

The crowd roared in enthusiasm at her declaration, the sounds echoing through my head. I lifted my eyes and looked around, the cheers from the stands felt gratifying and filled me with a sense of accomplishment.

I had won my first match.

My face lit up in delight and I smiled, before looking back down and remembering Kaminari.

"It's okay," I reassured him. Though it wasn't really necessary as he remained unresponsive, "Recovery Girl will fix it."

"Did you see that move, Sports fans?" Present Mic asked. "That was insane!"

I blushed at the compliment and felt a swirl of pride, before I stood up and blanched at the pain coming from my leg. I looked down to see my UA combat uniform had been torn at the bottom of my pant leg, revealing the long burn mark that ran up my shin.

My skin had disintegrated in ugly ways, leaving burn blisters up my leg in a zigzag pattern. Some parts had cracked and had begun to bleed, making it look way worse. It was sickening to look at and I felt like I was going to throw up, both from the sight and the loss of adrenaline was making it hurt worse than it had before.

I breathed deeply but the seraing heat made me choke back tears. This was so embarrassing.

"I'm feeling less remorseful about his concussion," I mumbled under my breath. My heart was still pumping like crazy and I hoped the pain wouldn't get worse as my adrenaline continued to decrease.

"We'll take you to the nurse," said a pair of robots, carrying a stretcher. Another set was carrying Kaminari as he sat up, making the same weird noise from earlier. I rolled my eyes and tried not to show my irritation for my opponent.

I hopped on the stretcher and sat sideways, letting my feet dangle as they carried me out. Though it felt odd, I wasn't unconscious or unable to move, so it made me feel weird. But it was better than limping on my leg.

I sighed and listened as different voices were easier to make out as they carried me out, many different hero's reviewing mine and Kaminari's match.

"If she had been faster she would have dodged that strike," I heard one say, making me clench my jaw to keep myself from speaking.

Did he think I didn't know that? If I hadn't exerted so much energy in the previous rounds I would have been able to make that jump, and I would have kept Kaminari from a concussion.

"I think she has potential," another one responded. "She dodged most of his attack and used her momentum to bring her opponent to the ground."

I silently thanked that person as the stretcher continued to move, making its way toward a familiar hallway. The robots set me beside the door and I entered, putting all of my weight on my right foot. Though it didn't really do much, since it was a burn and hurt no matter the pressure I put on it.

I hobbled in and greeted her, and was promptly instructed to lay on one of the beds. I did as I was told and sat down; waiting for further instructions. Kaminari strolled in a minute after that, sitting himself on the bed next to mine. He still held his thumbs up, but was no longer making weird noises, which I guess was a good sign.

"Let me see," The old woman called, looking up at me. I jumped back and looked down at her, wondering when she'd gotten so close. "Stop staring and show me why you're here."

I nodded my head in a weird state of shock and lifted my burned leg, letting her inspect it. She hummed in thought and took out a sanitizing whip, blotting the blood. It stung and I scrunched my nose in response, holding back the urge to kick my leg.

She carried on so and ended up using her Quirk, making me feel quite uncomfortable as she kissed my leg.

"You may have some small scarring," she said, looking up at me. I scrunched my nose in worry and looked down at my leg, seeing that she was wrapping it. "My Quirk only speeds up the body's healing process, so I can't do anything else."

I nodded slowly, looking down at my leg with a furrowed brow. I'd never really been scared of scarring, it was part of being a hero, but it felt more like a reminder of my mistake. Though, I hope it at least turns out to look cool, especially if I have to look at it everyday for the rest of my life.

When she finally let me go, I made my way back toward my class, only thinking about the weird way the wraps around my leg moved under my knee, and how the flip flops I was forced to wear would stop me from fighting well. I would need to change back into my combat boots before my next fight.

I reached the entrance and made my way to the seat next to Mina. I forcefully sat down and looked out at the stadium floor, noting that Uraraka and Katsuki were getting ready to fight.

I jumped in my chair and leaned over the railing, looking on as the fight was about to begin.

"Oh my God," I gasped, talking to Mina, not taking my eyes off the fights but sitting my eyes back on. "They're gonna fight!"

"I know," she said, equally worried. "He's gonna kill her."

"Just gonna blow her off the ring."

"More like the face of the earth."

"She's gonna activate her Quirk and he's gonna send her flying."

"Will you two stop that!" I heard someone yell, and we both turned around to see Iida, waving his arm in his signature stance. "You're scaring everyone!"

"Oh It's fine, Iida," I responded, this time I turned my body around so that I could face him. "Uraraka's tough and won't go down without a fight. And Kastuki," I paused, looking back down at the two in question. "He wants to win but not at the cost of cheating or damaging his reputation of being chosen as number one."

"Let the eighth match," Present Mic controlled the stadium once more with his loud declarations, distracting us from our previous thoughts. "Begin!"

Immediately as it was spoken, Urarka ran towards Katuski, keeping her body low to the ground.

"That's a good start!" Kuku spectated, his voice rising with excitement. "All she has to do is touch him one time!"

"But it won't be easy," Iida explained "You know Bakugo's not gonna let her get too close to him." I nodded my head along with them, watching Katsuki lift his arm to counter her upcoming attack.

"That's why he's not dodging," Kuku countered, "He'll focus his energy on counterattacking."

And he was right, as Uraraka got closer to Kastuki, the former brought his hand back, and sent a blast her way. Dark ash covered the field and our class gasped in worried breaths.

"Uraraka!" Both Izuku and Iida yelled, expressing anxious expressions. I cringed myself and watched as the fight carried on, a hint of anticipation writhing through my emotions. No matter how concerned I was, this fight was still going to be awesome.

Wait, does that make me a bad friend?

"Looks like Bakugo isn't showing her any mercy…" Tsuyu said, as Katsuki stepped out of the dark fog he had created. He raised his hand again, keeping his body on edge and ready for her next attack.

"If you show hesitation," I answered aloud, speaking more to myself than anyone, really. "You lose, villains see that as weakness and will use that against you." Katsuki let off another blast, roaring in the process.

I heard Kuku humm in agreement and all of us saw another figure coming from behind the boy.

"Whoa," Present Mic narrated, "She threw her jaket over as a decoy! What incredibly quick thinking!" Just as Uraraka was about to touch Kastuki, he turned around quickly and shot off an explosion. She flew into the air but caught herself and slid, keeping herself from falling.

Katsuki cleared the smoke in front of him and ignited hsi Quirk again, more concrete and flame filled the ring as he did so. Giving us all pause as we waited to see if Uraraka had dodged. She was able to do so and screamed when he looked distracted, but It didn't last for long when he sent on another attack.

"I can't watch this!" Jirou mumbled, her voice hidden behind her hands. I nodded along in agreement, realizing that this was less entertaining and more worrying. And confusing. While on one hand, I really hoped that Uraraka could pull through and take down Katsuki in all his glory, maybe soften his attitude a bit. But on the other hand, a deep part of me wanted to see Katsuki win. But that would mean that I would have to fight him at some point, if I won, and I didn't know how I felt about that either.

"Like I always suspected," Mineta said from the row behind Jirou and Tsuyu. "Bakugo's a total sadist."

I couldn't help but let out a small laugh, not knowing what to think. Especially since siad boy began firing blast after blast at the girl, keeping her away from himself. And yet Uraraka still came after him, keeping her body parallel to the floor as she made her way toward him.

It felt like the whole crowd was silent as Uraraka continued to get beat, her attempts being blocked and her moves getting slower. Again, her opponent fired off an explosion and a new voice could be heard from down below.

"What's he saying?" I whispered to Mina, who looked just as confused as I was.

Another explosion.

"This is shameful!" Some guy from the stands interrupted, making most of the stadium turn its head. "Listen Kid, you really wanna be a hero? Then stop acting like a bully?"

I twisted my features into a hatful confusion as I stared at the idiot who had made the accusation. He couldn't possibly be a real person.

"If you're so good just send her out of bounds!" The same voice echoed through the stadium. And yet another explosion went off as he spoke, Katuski having little to no care for the idiot's words. I wasn't so lenient. "Stop toying with the girl and end this match!"

"Yeah, you heard the guy!" A woman agreed, standing up with him as they both gathered the crowd. The stadium began to fill with the sound of 'boos', and finally the fight stopped.

"You're all complete bozos!" I growled, standing up to face the man who originally started it, with a glare of disgust. But my cry was silenced as the speakers sparked to life with Present's Mic's input.

"The crowd is booing Bakugo! And honestly, I kinda agree with what they're saying-"

Before I could rage even more about they're moronic behavior, something interrupted my English teacher.

"Where is the man who started this uproar? Are you a pro?" Mr. Aizawa's low voice filled the arena, silencing the boos and myself. "Because if you're being serious, you can go home and hang up your cape. I'd suggest looking into another career."

I need to get more Eraserhead merchandise, the one pair of socks isn't enough.

"Bakugo's fierceness is an acknowledgment of his opponent's strength." He continued. "He knows she deserves to have made it this far, so he's making sure he does whatever it takes to keep her at bay and come out on top."

"Yeah!" I yelled, "Let's go Mr. Aizawa for not being a moron."

A small gasp went through the stadium and I cringed, and sat back down in my chair.

That was so stupid,

Why does common sense show up after I do something dumb?

I slid further down in my chair and hid my face with my hands, thinking about the fact that the whole point of the sports festival was to get pros' attention. And now all I'm gonna be known for is by calling people morons. Actually, I don't want to have anything to do with those idiots anyway.

In the middle of my breakdown, the fight continued below, and soon thousands of rocks were falling from the sky.

I gasped and looked back at the fight, seeing Uraraka once again running up to Katsuki.

"A meteor shower!" Present Mic exclaimed.

"Now you notice," Mr. Aizawa said, apparently seeing this from the beginning.

The debris fell, but Katuski just stood there, waiting for it to come. I scrunched my nose in confusion and slid my hands away from my face, and sat up straighter. Waiting in anticipation. The boy lifted his hand, and brought the other one up as well. He stabilized himself by bending his knees, looking the shower of rocks dead on.

His fingers sparked to life and an explosion the height of the stadium erupted from his hands.

Uraraka went flying backwards by the impact, and the rest of the stands were feeling the hit by large amounts of wind. And in just that one shot, every piece of debris crumbled into oblivion.

"Bakugo bangs out a huge demonstration of power!" The announcer yelled. "He blasted apart Uraraka's finishing move and remains untouched."

I gaped in awe and stared down at Katsuki, finding that his strength was amazing.

I hope I can be like that.

I blinked at the realization, that no matter how loud, obnoxious, and fun to mess with. He was still someone to look up to. And someone that I wanted to be like.

Urarka stood up, and I was surprised at her endurance. That was a huge attack, and she'd already been dodging for a while now. Now it was Katsuki's turn to run forward, his hands wide to ready himself for another attack.

Uraraka turned to face her opponent, but just as she was about to take a step, her body faulted and she fell to the ground.

She wasn't able to get up afterwards, and the match went to Katsuki. I furrowed my brows at the scene below and turned to Iida and Kuku who were beginning to stand up.

"Should we go check on Uraraka?" I asked, looking at them with concern. Iida shifted his attention to the green haired boy beside him.

"I'm fighting after this round, but I'll go check on her," Kuku responded, reassuring me and Iida both. I nodded and watched him leave, walking out the stadium. I shifted my gaze back to Iida and smiled.

"I ship them so bad,"

"I think you should stay out of their love lives," He said, pointing at me with his entire left hand. "It's unprofessional and not suitable for a UA student."

"Iida!" I gasped, looking at him in mock offense. "How could you not ship them?"

"I said it was unprofessional," he clarified, a slight tint in his eyes as they flashed toward the door Kuku left from. "I didn't say I disagree."

My eyes widened and I smiled in disbelief; utterly surprised that he would even agree with me.

"Excuse me, Hiroko," He said, distracting me from my thoughts. "I need to make a phone call." I watched him leave and pouted slightly.

I was about to ask him to be my spy… actually he'd probably just scold me more.

I sighed and turned my head and realized that Kaminari was back, sitting in the same seat he was before our fight. I felt slightly relieved that he was okay, and that I hadn't left any permanent damage. But then I remembered I was mad at him, in a petty way.

I pushed the feeling down and reminded myself that It was a fight, and everything we did was fair. And that if I hadn't used so much of my Quirk and was smart with it beforehand, I would have easily dodged it.

"Hey, Kaminari," I called, walking and leaning on the other seat beside him. "How's your head?"

He turned to me and his eyes widened in anxiety as he looked down at my leg.

"Good," He responded, "How's your leg?" He put his hand on the back of his neck awkwardly, his confidence lost.

"Ehhhh," I answered truthfully, feeling bad that I'd been mad at him earlier. "Recovery Girl said that she couldn't heal it too much or it'd take my endurance, but it doesn't hurt when I move."

"What was that move you used?" Sero asked, facing me. "You totally took him out." He gestured toward Kaminari with his head and I held back a smile.

"It's called a Flying Armbar!" I answered, "It took me so long to learn, but I'm so glad it worked." I bobbed my head in excitement and remembered the countless hours I spent learning that one move. He turned to say something else when his attention shifted to someone beside me.

"Bakugo," He said, and I looked at the boy he was addressing. "Playing the villain, huh? Must have been tough."

"Even if it was who you were up against," Tssuyu added, putting her finger to her chin. "You did make a pretty convincing bad guy." Jirou nodded beside her and I chose not to say anything. I wasn't a fan of them so freely throwing the idea of being a villain around, but I couldn't blame them. Katsuki usually yelled and it was off putting, but I could never see him as a villain.

"Shut up, you idiots!" He yelled, hands in his pockets as he walked closer to the seat I was leaning in. "Or else." I backed out and slid next to the chair and leaned on it, giving him his seat back. I didn't really want to sit there anyway, it was still missing it's top half and was charred.

"For real dude," Kaminari imputed, pointing his finger toward the boy. "I don't know how you were able to aim a powerful blast at a frail girl like that." I raised my eyebrow but waited for his next sentence to smack him over his head. "I couldn't help but hold back against Hiroko."

"Ha!" I barked out sarcastically, looking at him in disbelief. "You didn't hold back at all!"

"Why can't you just let me have this?" He whined, putting his head down in defeat. I didn't feel any sympathy for him, since I was still not happy about my leg. Though I was trying to get over that.

"Because I won, not you," I said, crossing my arms over my chest and sticking my tongue out playfully.

"Wow, Hiroko," Sero interrupted, laughing at his friend's dejected form. "I didn't know you were such a sore loser." His tone was light so I took no offense, even pointing at Kaminari to play along.

"Well, that's because he was being a sore loser," I defended, dramatically looking away. Sero began laughing again and made fun of Kaminari, agreeing with my statement. I smiled and looked back to them, noticing that Katsuki had sat down.

"I definitely wouldn't call that girl frail," I heard him mumble, carrying on the conversation from earlier. I crouched down beside and and flipped my head to the side, my braid hitting the floor. I looked up at him in elation and surprise.

"Did you just compliment someone?" I asked, and both Kaminari and Sero turned their heads toward us. Katsuki growled and palmed my face before pushing me away from him. It didn't stop my growing smile as I stood up before I lost my balance. "You did!"

"Drop dead!" He grumbled, looking ahead. Not making eye contact with any of us.

Before I could continue messing with him, Present Mic called for the next round, which was a continuation of Kirishima and the iron guy from class B. They would settle their tie with an arm-wrestling match, which Kirishima won.

Class A cheered with adoration and once again Present Mic announced who the next two opponents would be.

Todoroki and Izuku.

Here I was thinking that I'd get this chapter to be the last one for the Sports festival, well It's not. Sorry if you're getting tired of the Sports festival arc, I promise I already have so many fun things planned for afterward. No more than two chapters, I promise that at least. But if you're enjoying this arc, then I guess I'm apologizing for nothing
