Thank you to those who stood up for my story. I know my interpretation of this story is a bit different but I'm glad that most of you seem to like it. I want to reiterate something as well. I am not nor have I ever been ok with a man hitting a woman except in self defense. If someone starts to beat on you, you have every right to protect yourself. However, for you to beat on someone to make you feel more powerful that is never ok and I will wish you to the deepest pits of Hell, because no one deserves that ever. Now I may not like Sam's character because I find her to be a little too manipulative for my taste, I do believe that she went too far in the first chapter, which I did NOT originally write btw. A person should always stand up for their significant other and if they don't shame on them. Anyway, now that I've ranted a bit, on with the story.

CH7

Miguel POV:

The ride to the hospital felt like hours when in reality it was only a few minutes. I sat in the back seat of the car with Tory and a sobbing Amina. Hawk and Robby were in the front seat and Armando was following in Amaya's car. I was in shock that this had happened to Amaya, who was such a fierce protector and always seemed so invincible. I wanted to scream and punch something but my entire body was numb. Finally we pulled up to the hospital and parked the car. Amina rushed inside demanding to see Amaya's doctor. I pulled her back and politely asked to know where my cousin was. The lady at the info desk directed us to the ICU waiting room. I sat Amina down in the chair and sat next to her. Tory sat beside me and just held my hand. We had only been there for about ten minutes when a doctor came out calling for Amaya's family.

"Perez-Diaz family." The doctor called out. She was young and very pretty and reminded me of Tory since their hair was a similar shade. The male doctor at her side was also young but looked very detached. He reminded me of Freddie Highmore's character in The Good Doctor. You could tell he was uncomfortable.

"How is Amaya? Is my cousin going to be alright? What news is there?" I asked. The doctors took my rapid fire questions in stride though and started to explain the situation.

"Your cousin is unfortunately in a coma right now but we are positive she will wake up. Her back is broken and there is a chance that she may never walk again. Her best chance of doing so would be extensive physical therapy which can be very expensive." The male doctor started to explain, but he was interrupted though when mom and Amani walked in. Surprisingly Sensei Kreese was with them as well.

"Don't worry about the cost. I have already taken care of it. and , I must admit I knew something like this might happen and I tried to warn Johnny and Daniel LaRusso but neither would listen to me. I wish I would have done something more to prevent this. I have paid for the young lady's complete recovery as well as getting her the best rehabilitation center in California. If there is anything else I can do for your family please let me know." Sensei said while looking at my mom and oldest cousin. I couldn't believe what I was hearing. He had made it possible for Mai to be able to heal and possibly walk again. I walked up to him and shook his hand after my cousin, who had tackled him in a hug, let him go.

"Thank you Sensei for what you are doing for my family. We could never repay you for what you are doing for us." I said gratefully.

"It's no problem Diaz, like I said I felt responsible for not doing something sooner. Also class is being canceled for a couple weeks to give everyone a chance to heal and calm down from what just happened. I think you kids need a break because all of this is unacceptable." He said to Tory, Hawk, Robby and I before he said his goodbyes and walked out.

I sat back down and listened to a lengthy speech from my mom and yaya about getting into fights and how we were lucky not to have been hurt worse. I couldn't help but realize that she was right. Everything that happened was a result of the hatred that Cobra Kai and Miyagi Do have for each other, but more importantly it was because of Sam's dad's total dislike of anything Cobra Kai and Sensei Johnny's unwillingness to back walk away from confrontation. I look over and see Robby is next to Amina who is just sitting there like a statue trying to get her to drink something, Hawk looks lost while Tory is just holding tight to my arm like a lifeline.

"I'm ok babe." I said looking at her light brown eyes. "I'm worried about Amina though because Amaya is her twin and I don't think she would survive if something were to happen to her." Tory nodded.

"I can understand that. If something happened to my mom or Brandon I would be the same way. The bond between twins or even just siblings is something no one can break." She replied. This is why Sam will never be able to compare to Tory. Tory, while being aggressive, is passionate and loves fiercely. It's just not everyone gets to see this side of her. I'm happy to be among those that have earned that trust.

"Tory, that fight between Sam and I at Moon's party, I just wanted to say that If I had seen it coming I never would have let her get that close to me. Nor would I have let her get close enough to put her lips anywhere near me. I would never cheat on you and I am so sorry that it happened. I really love you and that's not changing. I love how fun, passionate and determined you are. You're strong and caring and you love fiercely. I just want you to know that." I told her. She brushed away the tears forming in her eyes and hugged me tight.

"I know Miguel. You are such a great guy and I am so lucky to have met you. You have seen me on my most difficult days and not run away. I know you wouldn't cheat on me. It's not the kind of person you are. The next girl to try and kiss you though is going to have to answer to me." She said slightly joking at the end. Since I know how she is I know for a fact that what she said is what would happen.

Just then I notice Johnny walking toward us. I jump up and storm towards him. I'm angry because this is partly his fault. If it hadn't been for him and LaRusso my cousin wouldn't be fighting for her life right now.

"What are you doing here?" Is called out before I can even say anything. I turned to see it was Amani who spoke. She was right behind me now and looked furious. "How dare you show up here like this! Everything that happened today was yours and Daniel LaRusso's fault! The children told us everything and if it hadn't been for the animosity between you both then these kids would not have engaged in a brawl at school and my sister wouldn't have fallen off that balcony and now be fighting for her life. You need to leave now." She was crying now and I pulled her into a hug before passing her to my mom so that I could escort him out.

"Look Johnny, not everything was your fault but what my cousin said was true. This animosity between you and Sam's dad has managed to now have serious consequences. My cousin is now fighting for her life and the rest of us have cuts and bruises from a brawl that could have been prevented. Sensei Kreese came by and paid for Amaya's medical bills as well as making sure she has physical therapy waiting for when she wakes up. I think karate is going to be a no go for a while until things calm down. For now please respect my family's wishes and stay away." After I said what I needed to, I walked away before he could reply.

Robby's POV:

I had caught the tail end of Miguel's rant at my dad and couldn't help but agree. and my dad were so much alike it was hard to understand why they weren't friends. I approached my dad who was just standing there.

"He's right, dad. If you and could just take a step back you would both realize that what you have done thus far has led to disaster. I hope that you can see that before it's too late. Also I told that I would help Miguel get Amina and Tory back to the apartment and help keep an eye on Amina. is worried her sister will try to hurt herself and Miguel's mom doesn't want Miguel to be alone. You need help dad. The same kind mom is getting because you will end up hurting yourself one of these days. It took awhile but at least she realized it. Maybe you will too." I told him. I waited for a reply but I only got a nod from him. I turned to walk away but I stopped when he spoke.

"I'm sorry Robby. I never wanted any of this to happen. You're right, I do need help and maybe it's time I get it. Ask Carmen if she wouldn't mind looking out for you for a while till I get back. I'm gonna go now. Be Safe." He said before walking away. I walked inside thinking that maybe he would do what he said but I realized talk was cheap and I wasn't going to believe a word he said till he showed me with his actions. I talked to Miguel's mom relaying what my dad said. She told me I could stay with them and then told us we should head back to the apartment. Miguel and I grabbed the girls and Hawk and left. On the way back Hawk called his mom and told her he was staying with Miguel for the night. When we got back the girls were asleep so Miguel grabbed Tory and I grabbed Amina and put them on Miguel's bed before taking up residence around the living room and going to bed. After the long day we were all out pretty quickly.

I Know that my version of John Kreese is not cannon but I like to think he was pretty manipulative. This is what he does. He does something nice for his student'd family to keep Miguel as an ally. In another fic I happen to like he did something similar except for Miguel instead of his cousin. Anyway hope you enjoyed the chapter and I'l try to update soon.
