Why do I love the relationship between Horace and Cassandra?

Horace is leaving for Nihon-Ja and Cassandra doesn’t like it. Little scene between the two before book 10. Love this one!

Will Treaty, accused of three murders, is banished from Araluen. The evidence is there, but isn't enough to have him executed, and Will remembers nothing from the past six months. His family plans to continue investigating, but when Will confesses to the murders and leaves, they are unable to find him when they come across evidence that could prove his innocence.
