4th in series. Scout O'Carrick and Caitlyn Leaf continue the struggle of growing up, but life can never be so simple for Ranger's daughters...or their friends. I have not messed with any of John Flanagan's couples, but this was all written pre-Lost Stories and Royal Ranger so both will be disregarded.

Gilan is entering his first year as Halt's apprentice and the two have already become like father and son. Halt never knew having an apprentice could make him happy, and Gilan never knew being a Ranger could be so fun! But when a past evil begins to arise in seek of revenge, training may be put on hold. Summary sucks, story is probably better xD. Rated T to be safe.

Will and Horace are sent to investigate an abandoned mansion not far from Castle Araluen, infamous for the fact that thousands of children have disappeared within. Upon hearing the mansion's past, Will is skeptical, and Horace is outright terrified of their task. A one-shot I will not be continuing. (Some Will/Horace included)

Things have been weird the past two weeks, in the mind of Halt O'Carrick... but he's not one to run from his problems. So he spends a night, in bed, trying to sort everything out. Maybe he can pinpoint exactly what's happened. ((Warnings: Halt/Will slash. T for cursing))

Why did it take Halt so long to come to Will's aid during the boar hunt? Just my thoughts on the idea

I woke up on a battlefield, not knowing my own name. Will I find the person I was, or is he lost forever?

Will needs coffee after going without it for nine months. He is locked in Halt's room though... so he needs to figure out how to make coffee when he's locked in a room with nothing but a bed and a nightstand in it.

There are few things in his life that Halt regrets; not being able to save Will's father is one. When time appears to repeat itself, how can he cope when everyone he loves falls? Because face it, Halt lives for few things, the Rangers and Pauline and Pauline isn't the one threatened here.

What I consider a missing scene from the book Erak's Ransom. This fits in at the end of chapter 48 and before the beginning of chapter 49

"Will paused before entering his car, because he had to dig through his pocket for the key, then fit it in and unlock it. There was Halt's perfect chance to aim. Shoot. What would it look like when his body fell to the ground?" (modern AU where Halt is an assassin assigned to kill Will, but when the time comes, he can't pull the trigger.)

Alyss has a paper due in English the next morning... but it wasn't her fault that she hadn't written it yet. She'd just been helping Will a lot with his studying. So it's time, he thinks, to return the favor. (Prequel short story to my other fic Lovely Bones. There're references to things in that story, but this can stand alone, too.)

The dark enemy Morgarath is on the move and the kingdom prepares for war. Now Will is faced with a new choice, one that can turn the tide of the war. Yet this choice has a cost, one that Will might not be willing to pay.
