Spyro accidentally went to a portal that leaded to the Forbidden Realm. Inside the realm, he met a dragon named Malefor, a dragon trapped inside by a collar. With Malefor gone, the world is at peace. In Warfang, the family of the new fire guardian tries to adapt to their new lives. Meanwhile, Spyro and Cynder both try to adjust to living lives as normal teens. However, as they learn to live their lives, they both start to wonder about things about themselves and their pasts that they never had even considered until now...

The story begins right after Malefor's defeat, the Dragon Realms are saved from total destruction, Spyro has directed the fate of the era into a new age of prosperity. Everything seems to be finally on the right track, like in the books about great heroes who always achieve "...they lived happily ever after" ending. Will Fate guide Spyro along the same road? Only time will tell...

Alternate ending to DotD. Malefor was defeated and the world was saved. They had won, but Cynder lost everything. Spyro, the one being she had ever loved had died to save the world. Now alone and devastated, Cynder must return to Warfang. Unfortunately, the Serpent's collar will make it the most painful journey of her life. Mentally, physically and spiritually. When Cynder discovers the presumed dead third purple dragon, she chooses to let him live to train him to fight the Dark Masters. His life now much different, Validor Starwing must come to terms with his destiny as the saviour that he needs to be so dragonkind can live. Set in the fan made Spyro series Pure Light. Rated M for pretty obvious reasons.

Like all living beings, dragons have birthdays! They like to celebrate in a similar manner to how we do! They throw parties which are filled with tasty buffet food, colourful floating balloons - and even a birthday cake! After the defeat of Malefor, Spyro and Cynder return to Warfang and are hailed as heroes. After a surprising visit from Ignitus, the new Chronicler, they learn the Dark Armies are led by Malefor's last surviving general, Onyx. Eight years have passed since Malefor's defeat, and peace was finally among the dragons of Warfang. Cynder still blames herself for her past, and is haunted by it, but it becomes the least of her problems when those around her start to act rather strangely, including the one she is closest to. It isn't long before a dark chaos sets in, and the world must fight for survival.
