This is just a little mini fic following Fitz in the days after he discovers what's happened to Jemma. I wouldn't normally post something this small here but it's my first AoS fic so I thought why not.

this continues with the idea that Jemma was the one who didn't wear the breathing mask in the season one finale. Simmons has brain injuries due to the incident and starts therapy for them. Fitz is by her side the whole time.

Skye and Simmons have a hard time admitting that they are in love. It is obvious to two of their friends, but not to each other. When they do admit it, they try to hide it from the rest of the team. And fail. Miserably. Skimmons.

Jemma Simmons is beginning her final year at Melinda May's School for the Gifted and Talented, and after her first two years of managing work and her roommate Skye, she never found the time for romance or saw the point in it. Quite literally bumping into the new Scottish boy might just change not just her view, but her world as well.

Post T.A.H.I.T.I. Skye is on the road to recovery from her gunshot wounds, but getting restless while having to stay in the medical pod. The team is on a mission and she decides to do some harmless snooping. However, snooping soon turns to intervening when the mission goes wrong. She pays the price for her interference, leaving Coulson and Ward less than happy with her.

Post Season 2 Finale. Andrew suggests that Coulson talk about his arm with the person he trusts the most. Coulson realizes very quickly that talking about his feelings is really not his style. As it turns out, it's really not Skye's style either. Despite being completely out of their comfort zone, can the two figure things out for each other?

Where Jemma rambles on and Skye isn't too shocked about what she hears. Companion piece to Of Sandwiches and Untimely Confessions, which you might want to read first (though it's not necessary).
