Chapter One: Meet the Campers
We see Chris McLean on a dock waiting for his moment to start the show. A random intern with Dark honey eyes and short black hair gives him the signal to start.
"Yo! We're coming at you live from Camp Wawankwa somewhere in Muskoka Canada! I'm your host, Chris McLean." Chris said as he lets what he said sink in.
"Dropping season one of the hottest new reality show on television, right now!" Chris said as he starts to walk down the dock.
"Here's the deal, 24 campers have signed up to spend eight weeks right here in this crummy old summer camp." Chris said as he stops in front of the camp's sign.
"They'll compete in challenges against each other then have to face judgments of their fellow campers." Chris said pausing for a few seconds.
"Every week, one team will either win a reward or watch one of their team member's walk down the dock of shame and take a ride on the loser boat, never to come back…Ever!" Chris said as he gestured at the dock.
Campfire site
We soon find Chris near an unlit campfire site.
"Their fate will be decided here at the dramatic campfire ceremonies." Chris said as he shows off the campfire site.
"Where all but one camper will receive a marshmallow." Chris said as he takes a stick with a marshmallow and eats said treat.
"In the end, only one will be left standing will be rewarded with cheesy tabloid fame and a small fortune of 100,000 dollars USD." Chris said as he pulls out a treasure chest from out of nowhere.
"Let's face with an exception of one of the campers, they'll blow it off in a week or two." Chris said as he referenced one Doll-faced heroine in training.
Docks
Chris returned to the docks.
"To survive they'll have to battle flies, grizzly bears, disgusting camp food and each other. Every moment will be caught on one of the hundreds of cameras situated all over the camp. Who will crumble under the pressure? Find out right here right now on…" Chris said as he took a deep breath and shouted.
"TOTAL DRAMA ISLAND"

"Welcome back to Total Drama Island! All right, it's time to meet our first 12 campers. We told them they'd all be staying at this five-star resort, so, if they seem a little pissed off that's probably why." Chris said as he chuckled a bit.
As soon as he said that he hears the sound of the 1st boat. Once the boat arrived the 1st contestant came out.
She was a girl who was slightly on the pudgy side with chestnut-brown hair done in a high ponytail. She wore a green and gold shirt festooned with a variety of pin-on buttons, and pale pink slacks. She also wore Coke-bottle glasses and braces.
"Beth, what's up?" Chris said as he greets the perky girl.
"It's so awesome to meet you!" You look a lot shorter in real life! Beth said.
"Uh, thanks." Chris dryly remarked as he was a bit miffed that someone referenced his height.
The next person to arrive was a tall young man wearing a white cap, brown shirt, and black shorts.
"DJ!" Chris said.
"Yo! Chris McLean, How's it goin', you sure you got the right place here? Where's the hot tub at?" DJ asked as he looked for said hot tub.
"Yo, dog! This is it! Camp Wawanakwa!" Chris said as he pointed where the campsite was.
"Hmph! Looked a lot different on the application form." DJ said as he goes where Beth is at.
The 3rd camper has short hair that was dyed pitch-black and highlighted in teal. Her dark, cool-colors outfit consisted of a sleeved corset top that arranged her modest bust to its best advantage; a short skirt with a patchwork look; forest green hose; and black knee-high platform boots. Her pasty complexion wasn't artificial but natural this is due to a side effect of her Quirk.
"Hey, Gwen!" Chris said as he ignored Gwen's look of disbelief.
"You mean we're staying here?" Gwen said as she pointed at the trailer knowing fully well that there was not it would fit all 24 competitors.
"No you're staying there. My crib is in the air stream with AC that way!" Chris said as he first points to the log cabins then to the trailer.
"I did not sign up for this!" Gwen said with a scowl on her face.
"Actually you did." Chris said as he shows Gwen the application forms and contract she signed at her.
Gwen however takes them and rips them in two and gave Chris a smug look.
Chris on the other hand chuckles.
"The good thing about lawyers is…they make lots of copies." Chris said as he shows Gwen copies of her application forms and contract.
"I am not staying here!" Gwen stubbornly shouted.
"Cool. I hope you can swim though, because your ride just left." Chris said as the boat leaves for the main land.
"Asshole." Gwen darkly muttered under her breath.
The 4th contestant to arrive has a cowboy surfer style since he wore sandals, jeans, a pink silk button-down shirt and a ten-gallon hat.
"Chris McLean! What up man it's an honor to meet you man." The cowboy surfer said.
"The Geoff-ster! Welcome to the island, man." Chris said.
"Hey thanks man." Chris said as Gwen frowns.
"If they say man one more time, I'm gonna puke!" Gwen said sarcastically at the display.
The boat comes back with the 5th contestant.
"Everybody, this is Lindsay!" Chris said.
Lindsay came out of the boat she sported a warm-colors ensemble consisting of stylized cowboy boots, a short skirt and a halter top. Atop her head with a baby blue bandana while her hair was straighten out. Her skin was fair and flawless, and her face was made up subtly and skillfully.
"Not too shabby." Chris said as he checks Lindsay out.
"Hi, ok you look so familiar?" Lindsay asked.
"I'm Chris McLean…the host…of the show." Chris said as he was amazed on how dumb she was… maybe he shouldn't have given her the Anti-Quirk bracelet but he needed to do so to make it fair.
"Oh that's where I know you from." Lindsay said sheepishly.
"Uh…ya." Chris said as he's now regretting giving her the AQ-bracelet.
The boat came back with the 6th contestant.
The 6th camper was a tall, model-thin, drop-dead gorgeous girl stepped ashore with regal bearing. Her straight, waist-length hair was unbound, and as black and glossy as jet. She wore a stylish maroon top that was little more than a sports bra, barely legal shorts, and open-toed, spike heel shoes.
She removed her sunglasses and gave a glare that could scare a battle harden villain.
"Heather?" Chris said as Beth walks towards Heather.
"Hi, look like we're your new friends for the next eight weeks." Beth said as she unintentionally spitting at Heather.
The boat came and went leaving behind the 7th camper.
He look the stereotypical punk. He wore a black T-shirt with a skull over a long-sleeved yellow undershirt. His dark was style in a green Mohawk, and his face was slightly pierced.
"Duncan, dude!" Chris said to the punk.
"I don't like…surprises!" Duncan said as he emphasized the last word by pounding his fist into his open palm.
"Yeah, your parole officer warned me about that man, he also told me to give him a holler any time to drag your ass back to juvie." Chris said with a smirk knowing that he had Duncan trapped.
Duncan sniffed the air a bit.
"Ok, then." Duncan said as walks towards the other campers he goes pass Heather.
"Meet you by the campfire gorgeous?" Duncan asked as he give Heather a once over.
"Drop dead, you skeez. I'm calling my parents, you cannot make me stay here." Heather said as she tried to call her parents.
Chris on the other hand ignores Heather and sees the boat and the 8th camper.
"Ladies and gentlemen, Tyler!" Chris said as said camp was water skiing.
Tyler is in an all red jogging suit and his short brown hair seeps down.
Tyler would have made a flawless landing if he hadn't tripped in the last second causing him to land on the growing pile of luggage and got Heather's shoes wet.
"Oooo, ouch." Everyone but Chris and Heather said.
"Ahhh, my shoes!" Heather shouted.
"Wicked wipe out man." Chris said.
Tyler didn't say or do anything but raise his hand to give a thumbs up as the boat came with the 9th camper.
This one has short auburn hair, what looked like the beginning of a soul patch on his chin, a pair of glasses on his face and he is wearing a blue shirt and green pants.
Chris chuckles and the camper sighs.
"Welcome to camp, Harold!" Chris said as Harold looked around the camp.
The other campers looked at Harold as he did this.
"What's he looking at?" Beth asked.
"So you mean this show is at a shity summer camp and not some big stage or something?" Harold asked.
"You got it!" Chris said with a smile.
"Yes! That is so much more favorable to my skill set!" Harold said as he skips towards the other camper.
Chris was weirded out but he moved on.
Contestant number ten…is Trent! Chris said as he introduced Trent.
Trent is dressed is in a Semi-camo shirt featuring short, camo-pattern sleeves, light olive-green torso. Emblazoned on his chest was a Black Hand print, the significance of which he never bothered to explain. He wore a large backpack in lieu of luggage, and carried what could only be the case for an acoustic guitar.
"(I wish I was the 9th camper)." Trent thought at this.
"Hey, good to meet you man! I saw you on that figure skating show, nice work!" Trent said.
"Hey thanks man! I knew I'd rock that show!" Chris said.
"I saw that! One of the guys dropped his partner on her head. So, they got immunity that week." Beth said.
"Lucky, I hope I get dropped on my head!" Harold said as Lindsay said something similar.
As they talked about the figure skating show. The boat came back with the 11th camper.
The camper was tall and willowy, she has a girl next door kind of vibe she has natural blond hair in a low ponytail that was more practical than fashionable she had no makeup and she wears a Sky-blue hoodie, shorts and sandals. She also carried a surfboard.
"Hey, what's up?" The girl said.
"All right! Our surfer chick, Bridgette, is here!" Chris said.
"Nice board but this isn't Malibu honey." Duncan said.
"I thought we were going to be on a beach?" Bridgette said only to be full of disappointment as she see the ruined beach.
"We are!" Chris said as Bridgette groans.
"I suppose I can settle for swimming." Bridgette sighing at this disappointment.
"Alright that makes 11 contestants. Ow!" Chris said as he got hit by Bridgette's board.
"Hey guys." Bridgette said.
"Hey, I'm Geoff." Geoff said as he introduced himself.
"What's up?" Bridgette said not noticing that she was swinging her surfboard.
"Damn it watch the board, man!" Duncan said as he ducks down.
"Hi, I'm Beth." Beth said as Bridgette swings the board once more.
"Hey! Watch it." Harold said as he ducks.
But Tyler got hit.
"Ok we've all met the surfer girl, can we get on with the show please?" Heather asked growing irritated at how long things were taken.
"Someone missed their double cappuccino macchiato this morning?" Duncan said as he made a jab at Heather.
"Get bent asshole." Heather said.
"Any way Camper number 12 born and raised in Japan, Ochako." Chris said as Ochako leaves the boat.
Ochako is dressed in a pink short sleeved t-shirt, jean shorts and a pair of sandals.
"Hi Chris how are ya?" Ochako said.
"Doing good Uravity, how's Ontario treating you?" Chris asked.
"Pretty good especially when the network and new Producer gave us a place to stay, time to learn English and some money to spend while the show was being prepped." Ochako said with a smile.
Chris frowned at that but they were his bosses plus he didn't have enough dirt on them or the new guy…yet.
"Ok then now go to the other campers." Chris as went to the other campers with her only suitcase.
"Hi everyone I'm Ochako." Ochako said as Heather scoffs and goes on her way.
The other introduce themselves with Duncan calling her Doll Face.
She pouts at this but then sighs.
"Oh well better then round face I guess." Ochako said.
"Hold on I heard you were here before the show started along with one other person. How is that fair?" Heather said.
"As Chris said my friend and I are from Japan and that's why we we're for a few weeks before the show started, also the only reason we're even here in the first place is that our school principal owned Chris a favor." Ochako said which led to Heather huffing away.
"What's next he thought you and your friend were colleges students or something?" Duncan asked snickering at the end.
"Um yeah he did thought we were college students since my friend and I are taking the Hero Course in Japan." Ochako said as the other campers eyes widen.
"Um are you and your friend like around our age or something?" Geoff asks as Ochako Answered.
"My friend is 16 and I'm 15." Ochako said as the others had their eyes widen.
Firem78910: to get this out of the way the contestants of TDI are 18 years old with Ochako and Izuku being the exceptions. Ok back to the fic.
"Um I'm pretty damn sure that violates the Robin Protection Act." Bridgette said.
"It is Malibu trust me I know." Duncan said.
Ochako rises an eyebrow at this.
"What's the Robin Protection Act?" Ochako asked only for Chris to shush her.
"Ok Camper number 13 is a coming and it's Noah." Chris nervously said as the boat dropped off another camper.
Coming out of the boat was Noah who has longish dark brown, he also had brown skin which indicates his Indian-Canadian descent he wore high top sneakers, high-water cargo pants, a long-sleeved undershirt, a short sleeved blue button down shirt and a red lightweight sweater vest.
"Have you gotten my memo about my life threatening allergies?" Noah asked as he was still reading his book.
"I'm sure someone did." Chris said as he chucks said list behind him.
Ochako got a little mad and went to get the list.
"I got it Noah-san." Ochako said as she holds the list.
Noah silently thanked Ochako with a nod.
"Ok is this where we're staying?" Noah asking nervous about his answer.
"No it's your mother's house, and we're throwing a party!" Duncan snidely said answered for Chris.
"Cute nice piercing how original, did you do them yourself?" Noah said.
"Yeah do you want one?" Duncan asked as he grabbed Noah's lip.
"No thanks can I have my lip back please?" Noah asked as Duncan lets him go.
As Noah mumbles a thank you for Duncan the boat comes back with the 14th camper.
This camper is of African-Canadian descent she is wearing a light brown shirt with jeans, has hoop earrings and her black hair is done in a ponytail.
"What's up y'all, Leshawna's in the house!" Leshawna said as she gets off the boat.
"Wow she looks fun." Ochako said as Leshawna and DJ gave high fives.
"I've never seen a girl like you in real life before. So big and loud." Harold said as Leshawna started to get angry while Ochako went to Chris.
"Say Chris where do you keep the Shovels?" Ochako asked.
"There in the shed over there and I'm guessing it's for him right?" Chris said as he points to Harold.
Ochako nods as both Bridgette and DJ are holding on to Leshawna so that she couldn't kill Harold.
"All right campers settle down and get ready for campers 15 and 16 Sadie and Katie." Chris said as said campers leave the boat.
The "Twins" look similar but not the same. One has bronze skin the other pale white. One skinny and the other fat. Both had the same hair style of high pigtails and both wore the clothes pink shorts and prison striped shirts. Also their luggage was the same.
"Oh my gosh, Sadie look it's a summer camp!" Katie said.
"Oh, I've always wanted to go to a summer camp! Yayeee!" Sadie said as she squealed.
"Well they seem happy." Ochako said as Noah rolls his eyes as the 17th camper arrives.
This camper looked rustic with his work boots, jeans and a heavy greenish hoodie and a toque. He wears his brown hair in mullet and has a downy proto beard on his chin.
"Ezekiel what's up man!" Chris said as Ezekiel looks up.
"I think I see a bird!" Ezekiel said as he points to said bird.
Trent laughed at him while Ochako chuckled a bit.
Chris actually looked worried and went up to Ezekiel.
"Ok Look dude, I know you don't get out much, and you've been home schooled your whole life, you've been raised by freaky prairie people, just try not to say much and try not to be the first out ok." Chris said.
"Yes sir." Ezekiel said as Chris mentally facepalmed.
"(OH who I'm I kidding this guy is the first to leave I know it)." Chris thought as he knows that this guy is screwed.
The 18th camper drops by revealing that he was a skinny boy with short brown hair with long bangs nearly covering his green eyes. He was dressed in a short sleeved sweater with a few stripes on the chest over a white button down shirt and a pair of cargo pants.
He's the kind of guy who thinks he's cool but really isn't.
"Cody, the Code-ster, the Code-my-ster!" Chris said.
"Dude, I'm excited to be here man! I see the ladies have already arrived alright." Cody said as he tries and fails to impress the ladies.
After Leshawna tells the boy to quiet down Camper 19 comes around.
She was wearing what looked like training clothes she has black hair that is tied to a ponytail, a unibrow and what looked a permeant scowl.
"Eva, nice! Glad to see you could make it." Chris said as Eva drops her bags as one of them lands on Cody's foot.
"Ow! What the hell is in here Dumbbells?" Cody asked as he tries to get his foot out.
"Yes." Eva said.
"I'll get that Cody-san." Ochako said as she easily picks up said bag.
"Thanks um Ochako right?" Cody asked as Ochako nods.
Eva raises an eyebrow at Ochako's strength.
"What do practice back at your place?" Eva asked.
"I was an intern for both the Battle Hero: Gunhead and the Dragon Hero: Ryukyu. With Gunhead I learned basic fighting forms along with Aikido and Judo while with Ryukyu I had stamina and combat training along with my classmate Tsuyu." Ochako said as Eva and the other camper's eyes widen.
"You interned with professional Heroes while at High school." Eva said knowing full well that it was extremely illegal.
"Oh course they did what's next did they participate in an actual Police raid." Heather mockingly said.
But to Heather and everyone else's surprise Ochako nodded.
"Ok I was only joking about that." Heather said with eyes widen.
"What the fuck were they thinking?" Duncan of all people said as he knows that kind of shit can land you in the slammer for a good 15 to 25 years.
"Oook ignoring the illegal activities that Ochako and her friend did back in Japan we bring camper number 20." Chris said as he was really nervous at the illegal stuff Ochako and Izuku did back in Japan would come back to bite him and them.
The 20th camper was fat very fat he has blond hair and wears some sneakers, shorts and a faux team shirt.
"Wahoo! Chris! What's happenin'? This is awesome! Wahoo!" The Fat Guy said happily.
"Owen! Welcome!" Chris said as he welcomes the big camper.
"Awesome to be here man! Yeah! Man, this is just so…um?" Owen said as he forgot to say the last word.
"Awesome?" Ochako guessed.
"Yea Awesome! Wooooo! Are you gonna be on my team?" Owen asked.
"Maybe you seem nice." Ochako said as she smiles at Owen.
As Owen cheers another boat came with the 21st camper comes along.
Camper 21 is a tan skinned girl with short brown hair. She wear a short lightweight grey sweater over an expensive off-white blouse, olive-green pants and a pair of high heeled sandals.
"Thank you Chris oh, you must be the other contestants. It's really nice to meet you all. I'm Courtney by the way." Courtney said.
"Hey there I'm Ochako Uraraka it's nice to meet ya Courtney." Ochako said.
"How's it going, I'm Owen!" Owen excitingly said.
"Nice to meet you…Oh, wow." Courtney said as she saw perfection.
Said form of Perfection took the form of the 22nd camper who was a god in mortal flesh his body looked like it sculpted from marble like the statues of the Old Greeks heroes. Which his T-shirt, jeans and sneakers can barely contain his short hair was black like a moonless night, his skin shined brighter then bronze jewelry and his eyes made the rarest sapphires look like cheap marbles.
"And now the eye candy of our female viewership. Justin! Welcome to TDI man." Chris said as Justin gets off the boat.
"(Jesus tap dancing Christ even in his Quirkless form he can still turn girls into putty)." Chris thought.
"Thank Chris this is Great." Justin said as he sees the puttyifed Female (And Owen) cast mesmerized by his looks.
"(Damn even in my new Quirkless form I still got it)." Justin thought as he sees his handy work.
"Just so you know we only picked you because of your looks." Chris honestly said.
"I can deal with that." Justin said with a grin.
Owen comes up to Justin and start a conversation the boat arrives with the 23rd camper.
Said camper was a girl with Fiery scotch orange red hair, a slim build and bright green eyes. She wears a green halter top and a long skirt.
"Hey Everyone Izzy is here!" Chris said.
"Did he just referenced All Might dudes?" Geoff said as everyone nods.
After he said that Izzy jumped off the boat and almost landed perfectly but she landed on her face. One of the other camper tried to pick her up but she recovered quickly and executed a perfect flip and landed on her feet.
After Izzy lands she talks about camp related stuff and the boat arrives with camper 24 aka Izuku.
He was wearing a T-shirt that said T-shirt on the front. Some jeans and bright red shoes.
"And our last Camper Izuku! Hey Deku How's Ontario?" Chris said.
"It's been great Chris, Ochako and I had a lot of fun." Izuku said.
"Glad you had fun cause the show is about to start." Chris said as Izuku went towards the other campers.
"Hi everyone I'm Izuku." Izuku said.
"Hey man I'm Owen let's be friends." Owen said as he gives Izuku a Bone-crushing hug.
"It's nice to meet you Owen." Izuku said as he's gasping for air.
"Um Owen I think he needs to breath." Ochako said as Owen let's go of Izuku.
Ok guys we need a group photo for the Promos everyone to the end of the Dock. Chris as everyone went to the dock and got into position all of them smiling though Chris did say to Izuku that he should tone down his smile a bit which he did.
As they waited for Chris to take the picture after taking off the cap and replacing the SD card.
"OK got it, everyone say Wawanakwa." Chris said as he was about to press the button.
"Wawanak-whoa!" The campers said as the dock collapsed on them and they fell into the water.
"Ok meet me at the campfire in 10 minutes." Chris said as he left.
"There is no way Chris could have timed that right." Izuku said as he shakes the water out of his hair.
Ochako nods at.
Unknown to everyone an employee of Chris was sawing off the part of the dock the campers were on.
After the campers got on to shore the Employee took of his diving mask to reveal his black hair and Dark Honey eyes.
"Oh this is going to be so much fun. Especially with the illegal Pro-Hero trainees." The Employee said with glee.
