Chapter 2:

The silence was deafening, everyone was just looking at Harry, waiting for him to respond.

"Are you fucking kidding me?"
Everyone whipped their heads in shock, Harry hadn't said a word, it was Ron who responded, his face was beet red, and becoming darker by the second.

"RONALD WEASLEY LANG-"

"NO MUM I WILL NOT FUCKING WATCH MY LANGUAGE."

Ron had lost it, everyone had stared in shock, he had never spoken to his mother like this.

"You lot KNEW there was a prophecy that put my best mate in danger and you did absolutely nothing!"

Dumbledore looked solemnly at Ron "Now Mr. Weasley-"

"NO! He's right! You put Harry in danger, you put us in danger, bloody hell we faced a troll when we were 11! Harry faced Voldemort at 11, and 12, and 14! And where were any of you! Where was his training! OUR training!" Hermione was out of breath.

"You don't understand, you're just children." Harry had enough of Dumbledore making excuses and treating him like a child, he hadn't truly been a child in a long it, Harry cared for his professor but they were talking about his life, his friends lives.

"If we are just children why have we done more in this war than most of you." Harry's voice was quiet and angry, he stared at the adults in the room. "None of you were there, Sirius I don't blame you, it wasn't your fault. But none of you were there for anything we've done, we've had to become adults by 15, Ginny was possessed when she was 12 for fucks sake!" His voice had gotten louder, he knew nothing was going to be solved by yelling, but damn did it feel good!

There was silence, no one knowing what to say, they were right, these 4 'kids' have gone through more in their short lives than most adults have.

"You're right Harry." Dumbledores eyes were shining, tears evident, "all of you are right, we have done wrong by you, we will fix that this year. When school starts we will talk about an alternate schedule, for all of you, if we are to convince the ministry that Voldemort is back and that war is imminent, then we too must act like it."

"Thank you sir." Harry was still angry, but he calmed down a bit knowing the headmaster has started to see his side. He felt a hand on his shoulder squeeze and looked out of the corner of his eye to Sirius smiling proudly at him.

"You definitely have your mothers anger." Severus Snape was standing at the door, no one had noticed him until now.

"What are you still doing here Sniv-"

"I want to help teach him Defense Against the Dark Arts…properly. He should understand what lengths the Dark Lords and his followers will go to."

He turned to Harry and looked him in the eye, "I don't know if you know this Harry-"

"You're a spy for the Order." Hermione finished, the trio knew what he was doing but never mentioned it, it also didn't escape Harry that Snape called him 'Harry' not 'Potter' hell must seriously be freezing over.

"Th-Thank you professor, I would like that."

"I'm doing it for Lily, she would never forgive me if I do everything in my power to help her son survive." With that being said he turned on his heel and walked out, the door snapped behind him.

"Holy shit." Sirius was stunned.

Molly Weasley could stay quiet no longer, "I refuse to let my children be part of this Dumbledore, I don't want them part of this war, I don't want them trained to be child soldiers." Molly's voice was raising at an alarming rate.

"Mum, we are already part of this, from the second I sat in Harry's train compartment my fate was sealed." Ron tried using a calming voice, it didn't seem to have much effect on his mum.

"You aren't going to stop this mum, it's happening whether you're on board or not, but we would prefer if you were. If you try to stop this we will do it anyways, you just won't know about it, or be able to help." Ginny looked her mum square in the eye, challenging her to try to stop her from helping in this war, to stop her from training to defend herself and the ones she loved.

Molly slumped in the chair, and Arthur encircled her in his arms. "Dear, their right, this way at least, we can help them, we can help our children to be better prepared then we were, to be safer, smarter."

Molly signed, resigned. "I know" She looked up with a watery, sad smile, "I just want to keep you safe, but I can't do that by keeping you sheltered can I?" Ron, Ginny, Fred, George, and Harry shook their heads no. "Alright then, we are doing this then, the right way." Harry's face grew as a smile stretched across his face, for this first time it felt like he had a semblance of control in his life.

The fire roared to life, everyone turned, Kingsley stepped through, a look of triumph on his face, "we did it! Sirius is free!"
