My version of what happens after the season 5 finale. Neal got kidnapped, will Peter think he ran? What happens to Mozzie? There'll be whump and hurt/comfort of course, and I'm actually not quite sure yet where this will take me. I'm rating it T.

After Neal's disappearance, Peter has finally caught up with Caffrey. And he doesn't like what he finds. OOC for a reason. One-shot. Hints at larger untold story. Will inevitably become non-canon. No spoilers.

Post Season 6. Neal has everything he ever wanted in Paris – well, not everything. He has to make another life-changing decision if he ever wants to fill the void that once was his heart.

When his father takes it one step too far, a certain Agent Burke shows up to help pick up the pieces and give this mistreated con a life that he deserves. Father/son relationship with the customary fluff & N/P banter. Give it a whirl.

"Mm...bleeding..." Neal breathed. "...m'scared, Peter..." "I know. I know, buddy. You gotta hold on, okay? We're just around the corner." Peter said something about driving faster. "I'm coming. Okay, Neal? I'm coming for you."

Someone is hunting down ex-convicts with no regard to the severity of their crimes. From murder to petty theft, all brutally tortured and killed on a live webshow. FBI Violent Crimes has been trying to stop it without luck. But when sights are set on Neal Caffrey, can Peter and his team save the young con before it's too late or be forced to watch as he dies with no way to stop it?

When a ruthless criminal under investigation by the FBI takes Neal, Peter has to rescue him before its too late. He may joke that he can always find Neal, but after three days of being brutalized for information, locating him is just the beginning of Peter's search to find his friend.

James Bonds' file never crossed Agent Burke's desk and the two never played their cat and mouse game. Neal still went to prison, broke out, got caught, then went to work with the Feds, but Agent Ruiz became his handler, not Peter. But when a case that needs the expertise of both Peter and Neal, they end up meeting anyway when they go undercover together to take down an arms dealer.
