Denim becomes very curious about the original homeland of the Octolings shortly after Octolife reveals that he is one. Rounding up Mesh and his friends, Denim goes on a personal mission to find Octo Canyon. Unfortunately, they get into trouble with Octarians and must be rescued by the New Squidbeak Splatoon, discovering that there is a bigger world beyond their city.

After the Syndicate Wars and the Great Floods, the human sangheili alliance is crippled, and forced into cryogenic sleep.
