Edit 6/29/22: Gonna fix a sentence and any typos I missed.

Hello you guys! I was going to try to work on one of my original stories today, but I got writer's block for it. So I'm going to work on this fanfic instead :) Hopefully I can get rid of my writer's block though ^^;

"So you came from the real world?" Peach asked. Jasmine nodded. She finished telling the princesses what happened after they were kidnapped.

"Oh yeah. I think Kamek and Bowser talked about you earlier." Daisy replied. Jasmine looked down at her feet and sighed.

"I just wish I could've done something to help Luigi and Mario." Jasmine said.

"Hey, don't worry. I'm sure they're fine." Daisy reassured her. Peach gave her a small smile.

"Daisy's right. And I know that they'll be here soon." Peach added. Jasmine looked at them and smiled.

"Guys! Mario! Luigi!" The Toad screamed. The Toad ran inside of the Toad House and grabbed a bucket of water. He threw the water onto the Bros. Mario and Luigi then woke up and looked around.

"What happened...?" Luigi said.

"Guys! Thank goodness you both are alright!" The Toad replied. Mario looked around again.

"Wait a second...Where's Jasmine?" He asked.

"Ludwig kidnapped her after knocking you guys out." The Toad replied.

"WHAT!?" Luigi exclaimed.

"She must be at the castle with the princesses!" Mario replied. Mario and Luigi slowly stood up and looked at each other.

"We gotta hurry!" Mario said.

"Here." The Toad handed Mario a bag with more power-ups. The Bros thanked the Toad and continued going through Desert World.

Mario and Luigi made it to the fortress in Desert World and defeated Roy. After leaving the fortress, they ran into more Fire Bros, Goombas, and Paratroopas. Luigi grabbed an ice flower and Mario grabbed a fire flower. A Fire Bro threw a fire ball at them, but the two dodged it. Mario threw a fire ball back at the Fire Bro, knocking him down. Luigi threw an ice ball at the other Fire Bro, freezing him in a block of ice.

Luigi picked up the block of ice and threw it towards the Goombas, knocking them down. Mario jumped on top of some nearby blocks and jumped on the Paratroopas' heads. He and Luigi then threw fire and ice balls at them.

"Are we almost to Roy's castle?" Luigi asked.

"I think so." Mario replied. Then, a Fire Bro ran towards them and threw fire balls at the brothers while they weren't paying attention, making them lose their powers. Luigi jumped on the Fire Bro's head before he could throw another fire ball. Mario and Luigi then continued to the castle.

Another hour has passed and the girls were still waiting for Mario and Luigi to arrive. Jasmine stared at the ground and sighed.

"I wonder if my family made it home yet. I hope they're not too worried about me." She thought.

"I wish there was a way for us to escape." Daisy sighed.

"Me too." Peach said.

"There's no way to escape." They heard a familiar voice say. The girls turned to see Ludwig entering the room.

"Ugh. Why are you back?" Jasmine asked.

"Shouldn't you be in your fortress waiting for the Mario's like the others?" Daisy added.

"I told Ludwig to keep an eye on you three." Another voice said. Then Bowser walked passed Ludwig and over to the cell.

"Bowser, please let us go." Peach said.

"Sorry Princess. I can't do that." Bowser replied.

"Well if not us two, at least let Jasmine go." Peach said.

"Yeah! She's just a teen and she's not even from here." Daisy added. Bowser and Ludwig stared at the three girls and laughed.

"Hahaha! Why would we do that?" Ludwig laughed, making Jasmine glare at him. Before the girls could say anything, Bowser started heading out of the room.

"I'll be back soon." Bowser said as he left. Ludwig grabbed a stool and sat it near the cell. He sat down facing the girls.

"Now we're stuck with this guy." Jasmine said. Ludwig glared at her, making Jasmine giggle.

Edit 6/29/22: I'll look through the next chapter now.

I think this chapter could've been better...I'll try to work on the next chapter tomorrow if I have time.
