Edit 7/13/22: I'm back to editing chapters!

Two weeks later and I finally post this chapter. I lost my motivation (again) and I got busy a couple of times. I really wanted to post this now even though I'm a little tired. I hope you enjoy this chapter :D

Jasmine tried to break free as Ludwig continued to run, but the Koopa held her tighter. A few minutes later they were at the castle and Ludwig took them to the room at the top. He let her go and shut the door. Jasmine turned around and glared at him.

"Why did you kidnap me AGAIN!?" She yelled. Ludwig ignored her and sat against the door. He yawned and slowly fell asleep a few moments later. Jasmine stared at him and sighed.

"Well, I probably should rest too." Jasmine said to herself. She sat against the wall and looked back at Ludwig.

"I was almost free from him, and he grabbed me before I could get to Mario and Luigi." Jasmine whispered. She yawned and lied down on the floor.

"I'm sure they'll get here soon." She yawned again and soon Jasmine drifted off to sleep.

A little while later the Bros made it out of the nearby Boo House. They decided to stop at another Toad House to get a few more items. After getting the extra items, Luigi and Mario waved goodbye to the Toad and continued their journey. They both took another 1-UP mushroom and headed to the next area. Luigi decided to use a Fire Flower and handed Mario a Penguin Suit.

A Hammer Bro was nearby and began to throw hammers at them. Mario and Luigi dodged the hammers and began to throw fire and ice balls at the Hammer Bro. An ice ball hit the Hammer Bro, making him frozen inside a block of ice. Mario picked the Hammer Bro up and threw him against a pipe, stopping him. Mario and Luigi then went down the pipe and continued their way to Ludwig's castle.

"Hey. Get up!" Jasmine slowly opened her eyes after hearing a familiar voice. She looked up and saw Ludwig kneeling next to her. She sat up and rubbed her eyes.

"H-Huh? What is it?" She asked.

"They're almost here." Ludwig replied, referring to Mario and Luigi.

"Oh great!" Jasmine cheered, making Ludwig annoyed. He walked away from her and took out his wand, cleaning it again.

Mario and Luigi ran into more Koopas and Bullet Bills on their way to the castle. They lost their power ups and had to use more. Mario decided to use a fire flower this time and Luigi used an ice flower. After dealing with more minions, they were finally at Ludwig's Castle. A Goomba was standing outside of the castle and ran towards them. Mario threw a fire ball at the Goomba, immediately stopping him.

"Well, here we go." Luigi said as he opened the door.

Mario and Luigi dodged the two skewers near the door after entering the castle. A Dry Bones saw them and threw a bone at them. The two dodged it and Luigi threw an ice ball at the Dry Bones. The ice ball hit him and Luigi picked up the block of ice and threw it into a wall. Mario and Luigi continued through the area and ran into another Dry Bones and a Big Dry Bones. Luigi jumped on the Dry Bones head, stopping him.

Mario ran and jumped over top of the Big Dry Bones and did a ground pound, dismantling it. They ran before the Big Dry Bones could put itself back together. As they continued, Mario was hit by a fast skewer, losing his fire powers. He took out another fire flower and they ran into two Sledge Bros. Mario began to throw fire balls at them as he and Luigi did their best to dodge the sledge hammers that were being thrown. After stopping the Sledge Bros, Mario and Luigi continued to the top of the Castle.

Jasmine watched as Ludwig got ready for the Bros to arrive. They soon heard someone running towards the door. Then, Mario and Luigi opened the door and ran inside.

"Guys! You finally made it!" Jasmine cheered. Before anyone could do anything, Kamek entered the room and used his magic again. After Kamek flew away, three moving platforms appeared underneath them, lifting everyone off of the ground. Jasmine screamed and held onto the platform.

"What's happening?!" She exclaimed.

"Don't worry Jasmine! Just hang on!" Mario said. Ludwig began to shoot energy blasts at them and then flutter jumped. He began to hover over Mario, but Mario jumped out of the way. Luigi then jumped on Ludwig's head, making him retreat into his shell. After Ludwig spun around in his shell, he jumped into the air and did another flutter jump. This time he was hovering over Luigi. Luigi didn't move out of the way in time and Ludwig landed on him, making Luigi lose his ice powers.

Luigi got up and jumped over to Jasmine and took out a fire flower. Jasmine watched as Luigi jumped over to where Ludwig landed and jump on his head again. She tried her best not to look down. Ludwig shot more energy blasts and did another flutter jump. This time he jumped to where Jasmine was. Before he could shoot more energy blasts at them, Mario jumped on Ludwig's head, finally defeating the Koopaling.

Soon the three made it to a normal floor. Mario walked over to Jasmine and helped her stand up.

"Are you alright?" He asked.

"Y-Yeah, I think so." Jasmine replied. Mario smiled and turned to Luigi.

"Well, now we just have to get to Bowser's Castle and save the girls." He said.

"Yup! And then we can help Jasmine get home." Luigi replied.

"Yeah...home." Jasmine said with a sad smile. She sighed as she followed them out of the castle.

Edit 7/13/22: I'm gonna try to finish editing the rest of the chapters today

That's it for now :) If I'm not too busy this week, hopefully I won't lose my motivation and I can work on the next chapter.
