Edit 7/13/22: Hope this chapter will be better!

Hi! Here's the new chapter. I hope you all like it.

"We're finally here!" Mario said as the three walked in front of the door to the fortress. Mario opened the door and they entered the building. When they were inside, they noticed a pool of lava underneath the floor. Mario and the others did their best to avoid falling off of the platforms. They then saw some fire bars up ahead. Mario was hit by one, losing his fire powers again.

Jasmine noticed a block nearby and hit it, making a propeller mushroom pop out. Mario, seeing this, jumped and grabbed the item before it could fly away, changing into his propeller suit again. He flew onto a brown moving rock platform while Luigi and Jasmine jumped onto it. They then jumped onto another moving platform. When they jumped onto the next platform, two Buzzy Beetles were walking on it. Mario and Luigi jumped on the Buzzy Beetles and kicked their shells off of the platform.

A Paratroopa was flying near some blocks. Jasmine jumped onto the blocks and then onto the Paratroopa. The Paratroopa lost it's wings and became a normal Koopa Troopa. Luigi jumped on it's head and picked up the shell. They jumped onto a platform where a few Goombas were standing. He threw the Koopa shell at the Goombas, knocking them down.

"I think we're almost to the top." Mario said as they continued jumping to different platforms. Jasmine found an ice flower as they were climbing to the top of the fortress, but lost her ice powers after getting hit by a Monty Mole. Mario was hit by a Thwomp and lost his propeller suit. Luigi almost fell off of a platform that they jumped onto, but Mario caught his hand in time. The three continued to jump on more platforms and fight the minions near them. Soon they noticed a big red door above them. After jumping on another Goomba, they made it to the top.

"Here." Mario reached into his pocket and took out three fire flowers. Luigi and Jasmine each took one while Mario kept the other. After turning into their fire forms, the three entered the room.

The three noticed a lot of platforms inside when they made it to Kamek. The Magikoopa laughed and began to cast a spell with his wand. When he finished, the platforms began to move to the left.

"Jasmine, try to stay close to us." Mario said to her.

"Alright." She replied and watched the Magikoopa teleport to different platforms. When Kamek finally stopped teleporting, he used his wand to shoot an energy blast at one of the blocks near him. The block turned into a Goomba and fell onto another platform. Luigi jumped on the Goomba and tried to jump onto Kamek's head, but he teleported again. Kamek was now on the platform that Mario and Jasmine were on. Mario tried to jump on his head, but Kamek teleported again.

Kamek landed on a platform below them. He began to swing his wand in the air. Before Kamek could shoot an energy blast, Jasmine jumped on his head. Kamek yelled and teleported again. He teleported next to Luigi but teleported again. Kamek shot an energy blast onto a platform above Mario.

The platform turned into a Thwomp and began to fall. Mario jumped onto a nearby platform and watched as the Thwomp crushed the other platform and fall. Kamek continued to teleport to different platforms. He landed onto the same platform that Mario was on. While Kamek swung his wand into the air, Mario jumped onto his head. Kamek screamed as he disappeared.

They watched as Kamek teleported. Jasmine tried to jump on him, but he disappeared before she could. Mario also missed him when Kamek was near him. Then Kamek landed on a platform above Luigi. He stopped and began to swing his wand again. Luigi then jumped onto the platform and then onto Kamek's head, finally stopping him.

The three cheered as Kamek fell. Kamek shook his head and stood up. He then used his magic to get his broom and then flew out of the fortress.

"Let's hurry! We're almost to the castle!" Mario said. The three then left the fortress and continued through the kingdom.
