I'm really sorry everyone, this fic blew up a lot more than I was expecting and I wasn't really in the space to keep up with fanfics. Honestly I now work 45 hours a week and it will be really hard for me to keep up with art and fanfic and my job. This has also been sitting in my Google drive with like 1000 words written for the last 3 years, I don't know if anyone is still even waiting.

Anyway, I hope you will enjoy this chapter!

..oOo..

'Just run in one direction and you'll eventually get out of this blizzard and then you can just go from there, maybe find a friendly village that will help with replenishing supplies' she thought to herself, not really believing a word of it. Deep down she suspected that she was going to die from this stunt she pulled; but rather die of her own accord than by enemy hands. And she knew he had every intention of destroying her village.

She was shivering violently already, it felt as though ice was forming on her skin and it probably was too. The cloak was sorely missed and she suspected that the moment the Uchiha caught up to her she would be cut down.

She didn't care, she couldn't possibly do what he asked.

.

The world around her was white, she saw no trees, no buildings, nothing but snow covering every surface; it almost felt like a hospital room. It would be ironic though since the "hospital room" was in this case bringing her a very rapid death.

She stumbled and fell, and found she could no longer move well enough to stand up again. She lay there and stared up at more white which fell rapidly from the sky. Everything was going wrong in her life because of this single blizzard. Years of intense training, her father's scolding and endless perseverance against her own self doubt and she was going to freeze to death? Pathetic.

How ridiculous, she wouldn't even resent her father for ridiculing her now.

The world eventually faded to black, whether it was her body going into shock or severe hypothermia or perhaps her eyes closing, she didn't know.

When she awoke however, she was warm, and seemingly on a bed with a thick duvet covering her. Her fingers were stiff and they ached and she suspected if she had spent much longer in the snow she would have lost them, along with her life.

She was warm and comfortable but a tingle at the back of her mind told her something was off.

To be alive someone must have found her and she knew that for it to be anyone other than Sasuke was unlikely. And therefore the warmth situated directly behind her was most probably him.

Her eyes snapped open and found that the snow was still falling at an alarming rate outside the window; it was indeed the same cabin she had been in earlier, she could tell by the burnt scraps of her former cloak on the floor within her line of sight.

She began to sit up but a hand that she had not previously noticed around her waist tightened and pulled her back against a warm body.

"That was really stupid, Hyuuga." A velvety voice spoke way too close to her ear and caused her to shiver, this time not from the cold.

"P-probably," She admitted, a little shaken up and immensely frustrated at still being stuck with Sasuke for what now must be the morning of the third day.

She was certain now that she could not safely get through the blizzard and was indeed stuck here until it decided to release her from this prison.

That or Sasuke decided to murder her, which seemed more probable at this point.

"Heal me," he demanded again, the fact that his arm was so firmly clasped around her and his lips so close to her ear made her experience a heightened sense of danger.

"Let me go," She replied equally as firmly, she was not going to give into fear this time.

The room was enveloped in the silence of their stubbornness.

"I saved your life," he said in a tone that fully implied that she now owed him a debt.

And he did save her, but it was also him that caused her to run out into the snow to get away from him in the first place.

"My life wouldn't have been at risk if you hadn't attacked me!" She huffed, trying once again to pry herself out of his grip.

"Heal me," he pushed again, his grip somehow tightening further. She was struggling to breathe at this point and she relented and stopped trying to escape. His grip loosened ever so slightly in response.

"I can't..." she almost whispered, her loyalty to her village conflicting with her survival instincts.

"You can and you will," he growled the last part into her ear and it sent chills down her spine.

"Please l-let go," she near whimpered.

He decided to drop the subject for the moment and give her time to collect herself.

His grip relented slightly and Hinata took the opportunity to pry herself out of his arm and into a sitting position.

The room was dim, the windows were small to keep in the heat and the outside world was colourless.

Her pack was where she had left it and her Anbu vest was beside the bed where Sasuke must have placed it after removing it from her.

She put it on and stood up, she could feel his eyes on her as she walked over to her pack. She hadn't brought much in terms of clothing but she had another cloak, it wasn't thick and was not made for winter conditions but it was another layer of clothing. She also had a pair of winter gloves.

She sat down next to her pack and stared distractedly at a strip of clothing on the floor. Her mind went back to the leaf village and how she didn't know if she would ever manage to go back home. She would be sorely missed by her friends if she didn't return, especially her sister, Hanabi.

"What are you doing?" Sasuke inquired from the other side of the room.

She looked up and realized she had a tear running down her cheek, she wiped it away quickly but didn't answer his question.

Being ignored again irritated him and he let a out a "tch".

She stood up and went to open the door, the snow had piled up to her thigh and she was starting to think the blizzard would never end. She'd eventually die of starvation in an isolated cabin with Sasuke Uchiha.

The thought made her grimace and she closed the door. She could feel the Uchiha's eyes on her back the whole time, wondering whether she was going to be dumb enough to go out into the snow again.

She felt fatigued and weak and she knew she would get nowhere with the snow being that high off the ground anyway. She leaned back against the door and slumped down until she was in a sitting position once again. She had no idea what to do, she was trapped in a tiny cabin with a volatile murderer that wanted something from her that she morally couldn't give him.

She let herself get lost in her thoughts and squeaked when she was suddenly pulled off the ground by the front of her vest.

"Don't ignore me!" He growled, mere inches from her face. He was holding her a few inches off the ground at eye level.

Had he been talking to her? She hadn't noticed but she was now in serious trouble.

"I'm s-sorry!" she whimpered, grabbing his hand to try and feel more steady in the air, he pushed her back against the door, and the cold wood against the now exposed flesh of her lower back caused shivers to run up her spine

Her heart was beating out her chest, this man was terrifying and she wondered what she did in her past life to deserve being stuck in this situation. Her terrified expression disarmed him slightly and he lowered her back to the ground. He stood flush against her and gave her little wiggle room to try anything stupid , whenever he got this close to her, she looked as though she'd pass out from embarrassment, or terror, one of the two.

He sighed and regained his composure, for the last several years he has been used to getting his way through fear, nobody with any regard for their life had ever refused him. He looked back to her and decided that there was something about her terrified face that gave him some sort of sick pleasure. This was the kind of entertainment that he was looking for.

He stepped back from her and smirked at the look of relief on her face, poor thing looked like she was about to die of fright.

"I said that you better find some way to entertain me before you no longer have a purpose here. But that's no longer a problem." he said with a smirk, and turned away, returning once again to his favourite position on the corner of the bed.

She frowned, of course he would find her terror amusing. She couldn't help but give into a sense of impending doom about the situation. It was becoming more and more apparent to her that Sasuke wasn't a patient man and she had no doubt about what would happen when he pushed the subject again and she outright refused.

She stared out at the blizzard that was essentially a ticking time bomb in this situation, and willed it away. But alas it fell with the same disregard for her safety as it had for the past few days. God, please, get me out of here.

"You understand that I will get my way, right?" he phrased it as a statement but she thought it better that she respond anyway, after the earlier incident.

"If you say so," she replied, in a noncommittal fashion. She wanted to tell him once again that she would not do it, but she wasn't sure her heart could take the strain of another angry reaction from him.

She stretched and gave a sigh of relief when her spine made a small popping sound, all her muscles were aching and tense and she was so tired of feeling cold. She had no idea what time it was, other than some time during the day. She refused to sit on the floor again and made her way to the opposite side of the bed.

After an hour of lying there staring up at the ceiling she started to understand Sasuke's need for entertainment. There was literally nothing to do, she didn't even bring a book with her. And it's not like a conversation was likely to happen when her only company was him. There was only so long her thoughts could entertain her, and she was sad to admit that it wasn't for very long.

She stood up from the bed and the moment she did she felt his eyes on her once again, it was frustrating being watched so closely constantly, the only time his eyes weren't on her was when she went into the bathroom. She did just that, and closed the door behind her.

There was a sink and a bath in the corner of the room, she walked to the sink and tried to open the tap but of course the water had frozen over. She frowned, and proceeded to walk to the bath.

She expected the same to happen but when she opened the singular tap, delightfully warm water started to fill the bath. The cabin must have been situated above a natural hot spring and she literally squealed with joy.

"What are you doing in there?" Sasuke yelled through the door, clearly listening in on her. She frowned, once again remembering the many many things wrong with her situation.

"I'm taking a bath!" She shouted back, not letting him ruin her mood stripped completely and stepped into the tub until she was submerged up to her chest, and closed the tap.

The water was the perfect temperature and it embraced her like a blanket. She could definitely get used to feeling warm again!

She leaned back in the tub and let her mind wander back to the village and her friends, and playing chess with her sister while they criticized their father in hushed tones.

It had probably been around 45 minutes before the door slammed open and she squeaked, hurriedly pressing her body against the side of the tub to hide her shame. What was wrong with him?! He seemed to have no understanding of privacy or personal space!

"My turn." He stated, nonchalantly, as though he hadn't just barged in on her bathing, naked!

Her cheeks were the colour of a tomato and she couldn't even form the necessary words with her mouth.

"O-out!" was all she could manage and it wasn't even remotely convincing! She regretted giving him the reaction he wanted because he just smirked and took a step closer.

She wasn't sure that the bath was worth putting herself in such a compromising position, but at least she wasn't covered in blood and dirt anymore. She was willing to call his bluff until he started unbuttoning his shirt. It was then that panic actually ensued, she flailed in the water, turning to face away as fast as she could, splashing water everywhere in the process.

"You don't have to leave, I'll just join you," he said with sadistic glee.

Oh absolutely not, there's no way that this is actually happening.

Her eyes widened in disbelief as he stepped into the tub behind her. The tub was Jacuzzi sized, and there was more than enough space but she was completely not okay with this. She risked a peek in his direction and to her relief he was wearing a pair of boxers but it did nothing to ease how mortified she was in this situation.

"Y-you perv!" she said, indignantly. She hated when her stutter came back but in this situation she couldn't help it.

"I just wanted a bath too and you were taking too long." He stated in such a nonchalant way that her jaw almost dropped.

At this point she was curled in a ball trying to preserve her dignity and keep everything hidden from view.

"You're welcome to leave," he said with a knowing smirk.

There was absolutely no way that she was going to stand up in front of him completely naked and try and leave the room. It was then that the dawning realization hit her.

To her absolute disbelief Sasuke Uchiha had just masterfully trapped her in a bathtub with him.

And now it was a waiting game...
