This is my first fic for The Mentalist. It's set six years after the show ended and gives an insight into how I hope Jane and Lisbon's lives turned out. It's just a short sweet story. No major plot points. Enjoy. Please R R

Jane had found love again and he was finally happy. But then tragedy strikes again when he has to bury his second wife too. Refusing to believe that Lisbon is dead, Jane is determined to find out what really happened before it really is too late.

Patrick is having trouble sleeping. With a cup of tea and a tormented mind, he's looking at the city and realizes he comes from a very long way. Patrick's POV.

Jane and Lisbon had planned the outcome after Red John, including their escape. What both ignored was that it would lead them to their own perfect world. My version of how 6x08 "Red John" would continue if Lisbon had run away with Jane to the island. I hope you guys like it. JISBON FOREVER.
