Little did he expect his first would be impersonating a priest in the small town of Cannon River, Washington, or that he would fall for one of the church's most devoted parishioners, Officer Teresa Lisbon. He points a finger at me and looks me up and down. "I'm guessing black dress, fitting, but not too tight. No heels." He shakes his head with mock disapproval. "It's a shame, you'd look better in green." He walks towards the elevator then spins around and grins at me. "And heels." *** Takes place after 6x09, from there I've mostly veered off from canon into my own take on Jisbon.

Guess who's coming to The Choice? Patrick Jane, out on a limb, and showing some. Lisbon gone ballistic-(Enough is too much!) Hightower with an agenda or two. An uninvited Red John: Here there be tyger. Lorelei, besotted. The Choice, like their lives, falls under the shadow of Red John. [I don't own The Mentalist, nor Jane. Pity. If wishes were horses, beggars would ride.]

AU: Jane returns 2 years after killing Red John. He and Lisbon resume their relationship. Their world remains murky, tense, complicated, and dangerous. Different Fischer and Abbott.
