I thought I should update this as the story has become so much more. A traumatized five year old is found at a crime scene refusing to talk. She's a victim in a child abuse ring. When she believes Jane has been sent to take the place of the murder victim, her friend and protector, Jane becomes a vital part of her healing. Can he help her and find healing himself?

Jane was doing a wonderful job investegating a murder, but then something happened. Jane is rushed to the hospital, leaving the team very concerned about his status. Because... there was no cure from getting poisoned from a frog like that. (story set when the old team was still together)

What happened between the time Jane confessed his love on the airplane and Teresa shows up in the interrogation room? My take on that. T-rating with one bad word!

Post Red John, CBI still intact, no island exile. Jane & Lisbon are keeping their relationship a secret. She'd wanted to make sure they could make things work first. They'd been living together for 4 months and Jane was ready to let everyone know. Just when Lisbon agreed to make their relationship public, she mysteriously goes missing and Jane is the prime suspect.

A short story set in the current economic climate, around the time of late Series 6. Jane and Lisbon are increasingly estranged, it would take a major incident to turn things around.

As I feel fanfiction withdrawal as I struggle with time to write. I am starting drabble series that I can post to satisfy the craving. These will extentions of iconic moments in the show. Jane is a mess after killing Red John. Lisbon wants to help. In this story, they caught Red John sooner and Jane did not fled. Be warned, there will be fluff. My very first story, ever, so don t hope for too much :)
