*Hey, guys tell me what to write next, fast! Only Harry Potter suggestions, please! *
Harry's POV
Albus had suddenly fallen to the ground. He then started shaking hard. Ginny hit the call button, and I turned Albus onto his side in case he threw up. Landon Peterson then rushed in, "Ginny! Is everything OK?"
"My son, right there," She pointed to Albus, who was still shaking, "Oh, no," He conjured up a bed, waited until Albus stopped shaking, and lifted Albus onto it.
"I'm going to take him to a separate room and examine him, if that's alright?" I didn't want to let him go, but instead I said, "That's fine, Doc," He wheeled Albus away and Ginny automatically burst into worries, "Is he going to be OK? What's wrong with him? What-"
"Gin, stop, please. He's going to be OK, I promise,"
"But you don't know that!"
"I know I don't, but believe me, Albus is the smartest and bravest boy I know,"
"I'm just worried. These are a lot of changes for our family. First, me, then James is attacked by Dementors and was missing, and-"
"Ginny Potter, I mean it. Stop. Please,"
"What do you think's wrong with him?"
"I think it may be epilepsy,"
"What's that?"
"It's when a person has brain issues that cause them to have seizures. Seizures are when they shake like what Albus did,"
"How do you know?"
"I don't. It might have been caused by the sickness Al and Lily had earlier,"
"Forgot about that. Who took care of them?"
"Your mom said it was just a flu, and that they were fine afterwards,"
"Al must have not recovered fully,"
"Either that, or he really has epilepsy," A snowy owl then came through the window and a letter fell in my hands, "Leo!"
"What does the letter say?"
"It's from Ron and Hermione,"
"Well? What does it say?"
"Dear Harry and Ginny,
How's Ginny doing? When will we be able to visit? James was very excited to finally use Leopold to deliver a letter. The shop assistant from where you guys got him came by and said that there was a miscalculation, and that Leo was the nephew of Hedwig's niece. Draco and Scorpius came by and asked where you guys were. What did he want? We hope it wasn't anything bad. Are we able to send Lily and James to visit, or do you need a bit more time? Let us know quickly, the kids are eager to see you!
Love from, Hermione and Ron
That's what they wrote,"
"Should we tell them about Al?"
"They have a right to know," I summoned some parchment, a quill and an ink bottle and started writing,
"Dear Hermione and Ron,
Ginny's doing just fine, she's looking like she can come home soon! As for James and Lily, I think we need a bit more time. You see, we think that Albus had a seizure. We think he has epilepsy, but we don't know. The doctor is examining him right now. Ron, can you search your family history for anyone who had epilepsy? Knowing your type of research, maybe have Hermione help you? If you find something, send Leo right away. The doctor hasn't asked for any information yet, and he's busy, but I'm quite sure he will ask eventually. It will be better if he can get information sooner than later. If someone did have it, it might be a genetic disease. Hermione, you probably know what it is, but I'm going to explain it to Ron. Epilepsy is when a person has brain issues. They will often have seizures. Seizures are when burst of un-controlled electricity activity between brain cells that cause temporary abnormalities in muscle tone or movements, like twitching, shaking, or limpness. It also temporarily changes behavior, sensations and state of awareness. You probably don't have a clue at what I'm saying, but Hermione can help you understand. Hermione, can you also look up symptoms of when a seizure would come? Thanks.
Hope you're well, Ginny and Harry"
I read this out loud to Ginny, and she approved of what I wrote. I tied it onto Leopold's leg, and he flew out just as the doctor came in. I jumped up and asked, "Albus, is he OK?"
"He has recovered for the time being. We suspect that he has epilepsy. Has this ever happened before?"
"Never,"
"Any trace of epilepsy in family history?"
"I sent a letter asking my brother-in-law to dog through the history. I just sent the letter right before you came in,"
"Good. Albus is awake and alert right now in a separate room, would you like to see him?"
"Ginny, is that alright?" She nodded," Go tell him what's happening, and that Mum wishes him a good recovery," I left, and followed the doctor to a darker room. The doctor then left, and I went over to Albus's bed, "Hey, bud, how're you?" He shrugged, "You probably don't know what happened, do you? What's the last thing you remember?"
"I fell to the ground, and then everything went black. I woke up in here,"
"The doctor thinks you might have epilepsy. You've read about that, right?"
"Yeah," We were silent for a few minutes until a tear rolled down Albus's face.
"Al? What's wrong?"
"Nothing. It's not important,"
"No. I am your father, and I want to know,"
"What will happen at school? I'm going to be known as the kid with a disability!"
"Albus Severus Potter. You don't give a damn about what other kids say about you. But, if it really bothers you, send me a letter and I will deal with it, alright?"
"OK,"
"I promise it will be OK. I sent a letter to Uncle Ron and Aunt Hermione to ask them to look up symptoms of seizures. Well, I didn't really ask Uncle Ron. You know him," Albus laughed, "Anyway, I will talk with the doctor, and see if you can come home soon. I'm going to invite the others to visit, considering that they may want to see Mum too,"
"Alright,"
"But there is one thing. By the time you can go to Hogwarts, you will first feel alone. I want you to know that you will always have me, Mum, James, Lily, Aunt Hermione, Uncle Ron, Grandma Molly, Grandpa Arthur, Teddy, Uncle Bill, Uncle George, everyone will help you,"
"I understand,"
"You know, Al, you're very lucky. Growing up, I didn't have much family. Only the ones we don't speak about. You, on the other hand, have so many relatives,"
"Thanks, Dad,"
"Always," The doctor then came in and knocked, "Sorry, am I interrupting at a bad time?"
"Not at all,"
"Good, I was hoping I could talk to you," I nodded. I hugged Albus quickly and left the room.
"So, Landon, anything wrong, or?"
"No, not at all. I was going to say that we can discharge Albus today. I'm going to give you pills he should take twice a day, morning and night. These will help to control his seizures. It will hopefully keep the number of seizures he has down, and when he does have them, will keep him from having serious ones. Let me know when you run out," He put a small black bottle in my hands, "Oh, and I've Charmed it so nobody can open the bottle except for you and Albus, although I'd prefer to have you open it and monitor him,"
"No problem,"
"Keep track of the seizures in a chart, and send me a copy,"
"Sure, but why?"
"This will let me know if I need to strengthen the pills or not,"
"Alright, can I bring Al home soon or now? He's going to be super excited that he can come home,"
"Sure, just explain this stuff to him eventually. Do you need a PortKey, or do you have one?"
"That would be nice,"
He handed me a pen, and I went back into the room.
"Guess what Al?"
"Can we go home?"
"Yes, but the doctor wants you to take some medicine to help you, alright? I also will make a chart that will keep track of your seizures automatically,"
"OK,"
"Alright, let's go home, just take it easy for a bit," We took the PortKey home, where Albus had a sandwich and went to sleep.
