*Hey, guys! Most of the next chapter will be inspired by James Marshall, so if James Marshall is reading this, thanks for the inspiration!*

Harry's POV

Albus was still sleeping when James and Lily came running into the room where I was reading.

"Daddy! We missed you!" I smiled, and put a finger to my lips, signaling for them to quiet down.

"Hey, guys, Al is sleeping, I need you to be quiet,"

"He never has naps. What's wrong with him?"

"He has epilepsy and needs to rest,"

"What's that?"

"It's when a person's brain messes up something, and the person will normally shake and fall to the ground,"

"So, he's sick?"

"Basically,"

"When will he be better?"

"Um, he won't get better. We can help him with medicine, but it will never go away,"

"Will he be okay?" I smiled at their concern for Albus, "I promise he will be the same old Albus that you remember,"

"So, he'll be OK?"

"Yes,"

"That's good!"

"That is good! Now, did Uncle Ron give you food?"

"Yeah,"

"Well, I can finally count on him to do something productive!" I laughed. Hermione then walked into the room, "You got that right, Harry,"

"Aunt Hermione!"

"Hey, you little knuckleheads!"

"Play with us!"

"I'm sorry, but I need to talk to Daddy first, OK? We can play afterwards,"

"OK! James, let's play outside!" They ran outside into the fenced area. Hermione then sat on the couch beside me, "Hey, this came from Ginny," She handed me a letter and a small box, "I haven't read it, considering it's yours," She added. I opened the letter and started reading.

Dear Harry,

How's Albus? Is he OK? I don't think he actually has epilepsy, I think Malfoy and his son had something to do with it. He's never liked us, why would he suddenly like us now? Maybe it was something about the food? I'm really worried that Malfoy put something bad in it! Remember the Dementors? What if he set them on James? What if he crashed into me and James in that accident? You're an Auror, can you investigate? I've enclosed a Polyjuice Potion, in case you need it. Please let me know with results of any sort!"

Love, Ginny

"What is it, Harry?"

"It's nothing," I put the letter and potion into my pocket, "Come on, let's see what those two are up to!" We went outside to where Lily and James were, and Lily noticed us, "Daddy! Aunt Hermione! Chase me!" We carefully chased James and Lily, when something horrifying happened.

"Owww!" Hermione screamed out in pain. I knelt down next to her, "Lily, stand back, James, Floo Uncle Ron," They obeyed, and I slowly moved Hermione to a sitting position, or well, half a sitting position, "Hermione? What hurts?"

"S-scar," I gently rolled up her blood-soaked sleeve and revealed the scar Bellatrix Lestrange had given her so many years ago. It was covered in blood, so I figured that the wound must have re-opened.

"Harry!" I turned around to see Ron, "Mate, what's wrong?!" I pointed to my arm and mouthed the word 'Mudblood' He instantly knew what I was talking about.

Ron's POV

I found Harry in the backyard," Harry!" He quickly turned around to face me, "Mate, what's wrong?!" He pointed to his arm and mouthed, 'Mudblood' I instantly knew what he was talking about. I ran over to where they were sitting.

"Hermione, baby, come here," I helped her stand up and walk into our room. It was Harry's house, but he gave us a room anyway. I told her to sit on the bed, and I went to look for my wand and bandages. I eventually found my wand in my old trunk under my bed, and bandages in the medical cupboard.

"Hermione, I'm back. I'm going to cast a Charm to stop the bleeding and wrap bandages around your arm, alright?"

"Do you even know what the Charm is and how to cast it?" She weakly smiled. I laughed, "Yeah, Ginny showed me a while back. Episkey," I muttered the charm, and it stopped the bleeding. There was a lot of dried blood, so I added another Charm, "Tergeo," The dried blood cleared up at once. Hermione looked upset, so I wrapped my arms around her. She then cried openly into my chest. I only held her even tighter, as I tried to comfort her.

"Hermione, it's OK, she's gone,"

"I-I know, a-and I know it s-silly for me to get w-worked up, but I-I just r-remembered what happened t-that night,"

"Hey, look at me. It's OK to be afraid, it's alright,"

"B-but what're we going to t-tell the k-kids? How're we g-going to tell them what h-happened without much detail so they won't be s-scared?"

"Harry'll help, he knows his kids best, but he also knows us best. He'll know what to say without letting out too much information," There was a knock on the door, and I called out, "Harry? Is that you?"

"No, it's Albus,"

I looked at Hermione, who nodded, "Come in,"

"Hey, Aunt Hermione, Uncle Ron, I went to look for Dad, and I heard crying, is everything alright?"

"Um, there's something me and your aunt want to tell you. We haven't told Lily yet, but we still need you to know. We'll tell Lily afterwards. We told James awhile back. Here, sit down," I invited him to sit next to me and Hermione.

He sat down, and I took a deep breath and started, "When your father was sixteen, when Dumbledore had died, he wanted to set on a journey to find and destroy the Horcruxes. Do you know what those are?"

"No, Dad never told me,"

"Alright, that's fine. Do you at least know who Voldemort was?"

"Yes,"

"Good. Voldemort had split his soul into seven parts and put them into seven objects. Do you know what those seven objects were?"

"There was a diary, uh, a cup, a diadem, a snake, a locket, a goblet, a ring, and I can't remember the last one,"

"Personally, I'm slightly surprised. The last Horcrux was a mistake made, your father. Your father had destroyed the diary when he was twelve, so in his second year. Dumbledore had destroyed the ring in our sixth year. The rest were destroyed in our seventh and final year, well, not really year. Anyway, I had destroyed the locket with your dad, Aunt Hermione had gotten rid of the cup. Do you know why that was extra special?"

"No,"

"That was the moment that me and your aunt shared our first kiss after seven years!"

"Gross!"

"Well, it's the truth!"

"Still gross!"

"OK, OK, I get it. I felt like that at your age as well anyway, the diadem, which was destroyed by your dad, and I kicked it into the fire that one of Malfoy's friends lit,"

"Goyle?"

"Correct, he did die, he fell into the fire. You remember how Dad survived Voldemort when he was a year old, right?"

"Yeah, Grandma Lily and Grandpa died for him to stay alive, right?"

"Yes, but do you know how Dad survived the next time?"

"No,"

"When Grandma Lily died to save Dad, Voldemort took some of Dad's blood, which had Grandma's Sacrificial Protection in his blood. Since Voldemort had Grandma's blood, Dad was basically tethered to life no matter how hard Voldemort tried. The Horcrux part was gotten rid of, but Dad survived. That was the sixth Horcrux.

"The final Horcrux was Voldemort's snake named Nagini, who was the seventh, and final Horcrux. you remember Neville Longbottom? It's been a few years since he visited because he works at Hogwarts,"

"Really? I didn't know that what does he teach?"

"He teaches Herbology, I think he was the best in our year for that,"

"Even better than Aunt Hermione?" Hermione laughed, "Yes, I think so,"

"Wow! I always thought you were the best!"

"Anyway! Neville had gotten rid of Nagini and saved me and your aunt from getting killed while doing that,"

"Wow, I always thought he was one of the shyer kids, and well, a bit slower,"

"He was, but if you saw him through the years, he became, well, better is the only way to describe how-"

"Ahem," Hermione looked at me, and gave me the look that I was getting off track of the real point.

"Anyway, when we got to Malfoy Manor, Aunt Hermione had broken in Gringotts earlier, dressed as Bellatrix Lestrange, we took one of the Horcruxes. She later on found out, and tortured Aunt Hermione,"

"What did she do?" Hermione slowly unwrapped the bandages around her arm, and showed it to Albus, "She used a knife and carved this word into my arm. Mudblood,"

"What does that mean?"

"Promise you won't call anyone it?"

"Of course not,"

"It is a rude term for someone who is Muggle-Born. You know what your uncle did the first time Malfoy called me that?"

"What?"

He tried to curse him, but failed. Instead, his wand backfired, and he cursed himself. He then started throwing up slugs,"

"Gross!"

"It really was,"

"Wait, why can't you heal the word the witch gave you?"

"It was carved with Dark Magic, and as you know, wounds caused by Dark Magic cannot be healed fully. That's why your dad still has his scar,"

"Yeah, that makes sense. Why didn't he ever tell me?"

"He probably didn't want to scare you,"

"Oh, that's alright!"

"Do you have any questions? About all this?"

"D-did it hurt?"

"Very much so. I was screaming and crying,"

"What happened to the witch?"

"Grandma Molly killed her,"

"Was she bad?"

"What do you think?"

"Yeah,"

"You're absolutely right. Now, anything else?"

"No, I don't th-" Albus's words were cut off short when he dropped to the ground.

"Albus! Hermione, help me! Anything!"

"Get ice, not a slab, though, a water bottle, and go get Harry," I obeyed, deciding to get Harry first. I ran outside, and abruptly stopped, almost hitting the shed.

"Harry—Al—seizure— come!" I panted. Harry ran upstairs after ordering Lily to her room. I followed him with a detour of getting ice cubes and a bottled water. I went back up to our room, seeing Albus convulsing hard. I tossed the ice and water bottle to Harry, and left, not being able to witness this.

Harry's POV

Ron tossed me the ice and bottled water, and then ran out of the room. I figured he couldn't stand the moment, and that was alright. I knelt down beside Albus, and tried to calm him down, "Albus, it's alright, Dad and Aunt Hermione are here, you're OK," I turned to Hermione, "There are pills for him in my room, get them and then create a chart that will keep track of his seizures," She quickly obeyed, and came back a moment later with the necessary things.

"Thanks, Hermione. Albus, please, it's OK. Dad's here, Dad's here!" He finally stopped convulsing, and tried to talk.

"D-d-Dad? W-what h-happened?"

"You had a seizure, buddy, but you're ok now. Here, I have your pills with me, take one," I put one in his mouth, and he swallowed it with a gulp of water.

"Good boy, good boy. You're OK, nothing's going to hurt you,"

"Th-thanks,"

Lily then came in, looking scared, "Daddy? Is everything alright?"

"Lily, Honey, remember how I told you when Al's brain messes up something, he'll shake?"

"Yeah,"

"We'll, those are called seizures, and he just had one,"

"Is he OK!?"

"He will be," James hen came in, "Dad? Is everything alright?"

"Al just had a seizure, but he's alright now,"

"Good. I just heard you talking in a scared voice, and I knew that you never did that unless something serious was happening,"

"Thanks, James," I said in a sarcastic, but funny voice. He chuckled.

Hermione then turned to Lily, "Lily? I need to tell you something,"

"What?"

"Do you remember when I got hurt a while ago?"

"Yeah, but are you OK?"

"I am now. You see, many many years ago, maybe, seventeen, or eighteen years ago? I don't know. A very mean witch captured me, Uncle Ron and Daddy,"

"Why?"

"She was a very mean witch. She didn't like me very much,"

"Why? You're so nice! I love you!"

Hermione laughed, "I love you too, very much, Lily! Anyway, she didn't like me because I was born in a Muggle family. GrandMum and GrandDad Granger were Muggles. There was a very bad word for those who were Muggle born, like me. Now, you have to promise me you will never ever call someone this name, as it is a very mean word, promise?"

"I promise,"

"Good. The word was ,'Mudblood' That mean witch took a knife and wrote that word into my skin, leaving this nasty scar,"

She showed her arm to Lily, who gasped in horror, "But, d-does, you know, hurt?"

"Not anymore. It only hurts if the ouchie opens up again,"

"Why can't you heal it? I remember a while ago, I got a cut, and Daddy healed it,"

"This was a little different. This ouchie was made with Dark Magic. That means that you could only stop the bleeding, but it will never fully heal. That's why Daddy's scar is still there,"

"I thought he had many scars!"

"He does, but I'm talking about the funny one on his head!"

"Oh, OK,"

"Now, do you understand p this? Any questions?"

"What happens to the bad witch?"

"Grandma Molly killed her. The witch almost killed your Mum, actually, and Grandma got very mad at the witch. She called the witch something I'm not going to tell you for a long time, and then had a Wizard's Duel with her. Grandma won, as you probably knew by now. Anything else?"

"How much did it hurt? The word the witch gave you?"

"It hurt a lot. Can you imagine a seventeen-year old screaming and crying? Well, that was me,"

"Is boo-boo OK now?"

"Yes, it is,"

"And without your Aunt Hermione, you probably wouldn't be alive, and we would've been dead by now," Ron was leaning against the doorway, with his hands in his pocket.

"Come on, Ron, don't be so modest!" He ignored that, and looked at Albus, "How're you feeling, Bud?"

"Been better,"

"Well, I know what'll make you feel better!" He took something out of his jacket pocket, and I recognized it as HoneyDukes's best chocolate, "That's why I left, Harry. Don't worry, I got some for everyone!" He started to pass it out, and everyone enjoyed it.

"Thank you, Uncle Ron!" James, Albus and Lily said in unison.

"No problem. Hermione, how're you feeling?"

"Fine,"

"Good,"

The day carried on, without any further ado accident or incidents.
