A quick one-shot inspired by the promo for 7x10, so spoilers through that promo, although its very vague. Character death is alluded to, but not discussed directly. Of course, I own none of these characters!

Definition: antinomy - a contradiction between two statements that seem equally reasonable. In the aftermath of the Bittaker case, Lisbon and Jane are both certain their positions are correct. Unfortunately, they're also in opposition, with no solution in sight. Post-ep to 7.08.

This started out as my tag for 7x07 Little Yellow House. It begins at the end of the poker scene and tackles the question I think Lisbon's brother's must have been asking about the fact that their Sister's boyfriend was wearing a wedding ring. We also find out how Lisbon feels about the ring, and what she thinks it means for her future with Jane. First up, Jimmy confronts Teresa.

Jane considers Lisbon throughout the years and throughout their long relationship. Companion piece to 'Love of My Life.'

Tag for 7x08. Pretty much extending the last scene of the episode. After Jane and Lisbon's fight in the office, they both did a little thinking on how to work it out, but it eventually got emotional. Involves some scenes from the last few seasons as the characters went down the memory lane. Not a very well-planned story though. Rated M for chapter 2 (adult situations).

This started as an episode tag for 7x08 Whites of his Eyes, but grew much longer than I anticipated. Set from Jane's POV, it starts out where the episode leaves off and deals with the fallout from Jane and Lisbon's argument. Introspection piece, but with a twist. It turns out Jane might have had a very good reason to be particularly protective of Lisbon during that hotel mission.
