Nathan was waiting for Daisy to get ready so they can go on a heist. It had been three days since Daisy had been with the Cats and tonight them and there mothers were going to pull a different heist tonight.

Whenever him and Daisy go on a heist, people call them the Shadow Titans. Nathan was already in his catsuit, sitting on the couch watching the news. Daisy's villain name was Deadly Blossom. Daisy's villain outfit was the same as her mothers, except she had bluish, purplish flowers wrapped around her wrist, ankles, neck, and waist. They're a special type of flowers that spray a toxin that knock people out for an hour. And she has her hair in a braid.

"I'm finished!" Daisy sung as she walked to the living room, posing like a model.

Nathan rolled his eyes. "About time, now let's go. The sooner we finish the plan, the sooner we can sleep." Nathan rubbed his eyes.

He didn't get much sleep the other night, do to a nightmare. It wasn't really uncommon for Nathan to have nightmares. But when he was younger he had nightmares almost every single day. But now they happen every other day.

"Right. Uhh, remind me the plan again." Daisy replied with a sheepish smile.

Nathan facepalmed.

"Listen very closely Daisy. Our mothers are going to rob a museum on the other side of the city. And once Batman arrives, my mother will push a small button I installed in one of her gloves. Once we get the signal you and I will break into the abandoned warehouse to find a file that could link to the people who kidnapped me. Especially since they used this warehouse to transport weapons." Nathan replied as he climbed out the window and went to the roof, with Daisy following him.

"Two questions, first why do they need to distract Batman? It's been abandoned for 4 years." Deadly Blossom asked.

Catboy turned to her. "It may be abandoned but there're still old traps in the building. And if we set one of them off, it will notify the police. And notify Batman, which is something we don't want."

Deadly Blossom nodded. "Ok, second question, I thought you didn't want to fight the people who kidnapped you?" Catboy tensed a bit and looked away.

"I don't. But I need to make sure that they're not after my family and I need to see if I'm putting my mother in danger." He said the last bit in a sad tone.

Deadly Blossom walked behind Catboy and hugged him from behind.

"You are not putting your mother in danger. And if someone dares try to hurt you, I will fight by your side. Along with our mothers."

Deadly Blossom moved so both her and Catboy were staring at each other's eyes.

They only stood in that position for a few moments, but it felt like hours for them, and heard a small beeping noise from Catboys belt.

Catboy looked at his belt and grabbed a small button that was blinking red.

He looked back at Deadly Blossom. "Let's go."

"If I see a rat, I'm going to scream my lungs out." Deadly Blossom said as her and Nathan look through different files in the storage room. After getting trough the traps, and almost setting off half of them, they found the storage room where most of the files were. Both looked for any thing that might have anything about Catboy since he escaped. And so far, they haven't found anything.

"There're no rats here." Catboy said as he opened another box full of files. Deadly Blossom glared at him. "And how would you know that." Catboy rolled his eyes. "I know because we would've heard saw them by now. And besides, we're villains. And you're afraid of a rat?"

Deadly Blossom was about to reply but she saw a folder with Nathan's name on it.

"Hey Catboy, I found something." Nathan walked over to her and she showed him the file. Nathan took the file, even though his hands were shaking a bit, and opened the file and started to read out loud.

Nathan's ability to heal himself has improved over the weeks very well. Now we will begin on our next phase and make more toxins to not only to make his self-healing ability's improve greatly, but to give him more ability's. The next toxin we will give him supper strength, he will be stronger Superman. Soon he will be the perfect weapon. And once he turns 15, we will install the chip in his brain, and with a push of a button he will completelybe under the bosses control. Very soon, the boss will have his revenge.

Catboy felt like he was about to have a panic attack. He knew they were going to use him, but he never knew what. And that they were going to put a chip in his brain to control him!

Catboy took off his hood and his mask. He felt like he couldn't breathe. He put both of his hands on the sides of his head, gripping his hair.

Deadly Blossom immediately went by Catboys sideand helped Catboy sit on a nearby chair, rubbing his back to try to comfort him. Deadly Blossom went in front of Catboy. "Just look at me ok. Just breathe in then breathe out." Deadly Blossom said in a worried voice. Deadly Blossom breathed in and breathe out slowly. Catboy tried to follow her but he ended up coughing, trying to breathe out. "It's fine, just try again."

Catboy breathe in again and exhaled slowly, this time not coughing.

It took about two minutes until Nathan could breathe normally. He then stood up, grabbed the file, and turned to Deadly Blossom. "Let's go back home."

"So what happen?" Selina asked as she saw Nathan walk to his room. Her and Ivy's heist didn't go so well. Before they could leave with their bags Batman showed up and they fought. They manage to get away, but Batman managed to get the items that they stole back. They got back to Selina's penthouse a bit before Nathan and Daisy got back. They Selina quickly changed into more comfortable clothes, while Ivy stayed in her outfit since she was going to leave after they talked.

"Well we found a file about Nate." Daisy said while handing them the file. Nathan had given it to her once they were close to his home.

Selina grabbed the file and started to read it with Ivy next to her.

Selina felt rage flow threw her body. She knew that they were going to do something horrible to her son. But she didn't think they would go as far as putting a chip in his head to control him and use him as a weapon. Even Ivy was angry. Yes she was a criminal but even she wouldn't do that to a child.

"What kind of sick people use a child like a lab rat!" Selina said with anger in her voice. "And they tried to turn him into a weapon! And put a damn chip in his head!"

Ivy put a hand on Selinas shoulder. "Calm down Selina, I understand that you're angry but getting mad is not going to help anyone, especially Nathan."

Selina glared at Ivy. But her glare softened, knowing that her friend was correct. Getting mad wasn't going to help her son. She frowned at the thought of what Nate might be thinking.

"*sigh* You're right, getting angry won't help him." Selina said as she calm down a bit.

Selina, Ivy, and Daisy looked at Nathan's door when they heard the sound of the clarinet. Nathan didn't usually play that much. Only when he's alone or sad. Selina had caught Nathan playing a few times. Whenever she came home from work early. He was always shy to play in front of people.

The song he was playing was familiar to the girls. Especially Selina. He was playing You are my sunshine. She remembers the first time she sang it to him.

~Flashback~

It had been 7 months since Selina found Nathan. And those months had been slow for Selina. She had took a week off from work to get Nathan situated. She bought him some clothes, books, a few movies that Selina thought that Nathan might like, a notebook, and crayons. She also taught Nathan how to cook macaroni and cheese, make a sandwich, the first time he tried to make a sandwich he somehow got jelly in his hair, and how to make soup.

I didn't surprise Selina that she had to show Nathan how to do simple things like how to work the tv. With how he was dressed she figured that he was in a lab.

She wanted to ask him, but didn't want him to get uncomfortable so she didn't ask. When she had to go back to work she would go but leave early and bring any work that she didn't finish home. She used to work from 7:00 to 6:30. But now she comes home at 4:30 so she can make dinner for Nathan.

Nathan hadn't spoken since he told Selina his name. Though Selina didn't try to get Nathan to talk. She wanted to feel comfortable to talk to her.

Right now Selina was in the kitchen having a drink of water. She had woken up in the middle of the night due to the thundering outside. 'I should probably check on Nathan.' She walked to Nathan's door and quietly opened the door.

She looked at Nathan and saw that he was shaking. He had tears running down his face. She quickly went next to him and shook him a bit to try to wake up. "Nathan wake!" She said, not meaning to shout.

Nathan immediately opened his eyes and kicked Selina, on the stomach, away from him. He then grabbed the blanket threw it over himself so Selina couldn't see him.

Selina just sat where she had landed when Nathan kicked her with wide eyes. She wasn't surprised that he kicked her, she was surprised by the strength he had. But snapped out of it when she heard Nathan's crying. She got up and walked to the bed and sat next to Nathan. He had his back to her.

"Hey, it's okay. You're okay. It was just a dream nothing else." Her words calmed Nathan a bit, but he was still crying.

"Can I move the blanket?" She asked.

Nathan, as usual, didn't say anything. So Selina gently grabbed the blanket from where his head is and pulled it down a bit to where she saw the top of his head.

Nathan, who had stopped crying, didn't move so Selina took it as an okay to move the blanket.

She moved the blanket to where she could see his shoulder.

Nathan looked at her from the corner of his eye.

Selina then gently pick Nathan and placed him so he was on her lap, his head against her.

And that's when she started to sing while stroking his hair and having her eyes closed.

"You are my sunshine, my only sunshine. You make me happy when skies are grey. You'll never know dear, how much I love you. Please don't take my sunshine away. The other night dear, as I lay sleeping. I dreamed I held you in my arms. But when I awoke, dear, I was mistaken. So I hung my head and I cried. You are my sunshine my only sunshine."

When Selina looked at Nathan she saw that he was asleep. She smiled and placed Nathan back on the bed and tucked him in.

She kissed his forehead and left. Before she closed the door she heard a small voice.

"Good night mom."

Selina frozen, processing what she just heard.

She then smiled and replied, "Good night."

~Flashback over~

Selina smiled at the memory. Nathan had started talking after that. I made her happy that he finally trusted her. He told her a bit of his past but not a lot. Though Selina didn't push it.

She snapped out of her thoughts when she heard her phone ring from a notification.

"Did you text him?" Dick asked as he ate some spaghetti. The Titans had once again attacked one of Brother Bloods warehouse's. Though it took longer than they thought so they got back to the tower late. And right now they were eating spaghetti.

"Yes I did Grayson." Damian replied as he gave Dick an annoyed look. "Text who about what?" Garfield asked with his mouth full of spaghetti.

"Bruce had called me when we got here. He said that he want us to go to the manor a week before thanksgiving. Tim and Jason are going, but the girls aren't because they're busy. He invited all of us and even told me that Damian could ask his friend if he and his mother would like to join."

The other were excited to go and seemed happy. Terra seemed interested but not in the invitation. She was interested in the fact that since Nathan was Catboy she would find out Catwomans identity. And Deathstroke could use this as an opportunity to capture him.

Damian's phone ringed from a notification.

Everyone went quiet as Damian read the text.

"What did he say?" Kori asked. "He didn't reply, his mother did. She said that Nathan was in the shower. And that they would love to join us for thanksgiving dinner. She'll tell Nathan once he's done."

Dick could tell that Damian was happy. He was happy that Damian had a friend outside of the hero life. He wonders if one day Nathan would show Damian what he looked like without the cap.

"WHAT!!!" Nathan shouted as he stared at Selina. After Selina texted Damian about accepting the invitation Ivy left and went home. She decided to wait a bit to tell Nathan so he could calm down a bit. And now they were all sitting at the table.

"Yes Nathan we're going to Wayne's house for thanksgiving dinner. And Damian will be there." Selina replied.

Nathan felt shocked. "But why? I mean I'm happy to spend time with my whole family but why?"

Selina sighed "Nathan I know you don't want to but we might need their help if we want to find out more about them." No! This is my fight, not theirs. It bad enough that I dragged you guys into this-" Daisy cut Nathan off. "You didn't drag us into this. We went on this path willingly because we care about you and at willing to follow you every step of the way."

Selina nodded in agreement. Both her and Daisy are willing to go to the end of the earth for Nathan. Just as Nathan would for them.

Nathan buried his head in his hands and sighed. "Fine." Nathan finally agreed.
