Lloyd Garmadon is a young boy who has been raised by his uncle at a monastery perched upon the peak of a tall mountain, training to ultimately fulfil his destiny and defeat a prophesied "greater evil". However, he does not really know what that entails, and will find out with five newfound friends.

After a Fatal battle eliminates most of the Ninja team, Kai and Jay are left to defend ninjago from an uprising threat. But the Skeletons and Snakes are not the only threat. Kai and Jay must leave their past behind and defend ninjago. But it is a coin toss on who makes it out alive.
